(POV)

"She's not here, Bright....

Ohh nice hair you got there"

My furrowed eyebrows raised at Kai puzzled then shake my head amusedly. I'm standing outside holding a packed breakfast meal and coffee with my carry on luggage on my right side at Demi's condo facing Kai who looks like beaten and sleepy but still mischievous.

It's 5 in the morning.

Where the heck would she be?

My surprise breakfast is ruined. I rushed out took a early flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai then hailed a taxi from the airport just to see her. Turns out i was the one surprise.

I gave her the meal and coffee that supposed to be for Demi for a bait. She immediately took it with a happy smirked on her face.

"Ahw! You're too kind Nong" Kai said playfully

"I know this is for Demi but i'm still taking this! Would you like to come in?"

I chuckled

"Nah Kai, I don't want to bother you.

Do you know where she is?"

"She's at the old house her grandma gave her." She paused and asked

"Do you know where that is?"

"Yes. I went there a couple times"

"She said she'll be staying there for a while."

"For a while?"

"Yes i think for a month or so. did she tell you?"

I shake my head no slightly.

"Oh. Maybe she forgot. She only received the call yesterday. She manager had an accident. She rush there a soon she heard the news then she call me last night for an update deciding stay at the old house and to take over the pottery shop for the meantime."

I nodded at Kai agreeably.

"Thanks Kai. You should take a rest, you looked beaten." I tease her.

"Nah. I had to head back to my shop too. Thanks for waking me and the expensive breakfast Nong!"

I chuckled and smiled to her enthusiasm.

I sighed.

Walking back to the elevator while dragging my black carry on luggage when A bright idea pops in mind.

What if i stay with her for a couple of days?

I know she will be staying there alone again. We all know a lady living alone is dangerous.

Would she mind it?

I just have to change my schedule

I grab my phone from my pocket and called P' Eed while entering the elevator and punch the key to the ground floor.

"Hello Phi. I have a favor to ask."

(POV)

I don't know if I should be happy that i can see him for a couple of days or angry for hogging the couch for a couple of hours playing his beloved PS4. The moment he plugged it in after our dinner 7 pm. He was in the zone.

I had this same dilemma with my older brother before growing up. He would hovered our only television before ending up we have a tiresome physical fights because of his constant playing of the playstation. Then this happened, seeing my bias in this situation. I don't know how to deal with this.

Staring at the man child in the living room with a cup of hot tea in hand. He seem to notice me when he turned his head towards me with a shy smile then raised his eyebrows like he was asking.

I chuckled

"You want something to drink?"

"I'll have what you're holding" he smile while he pressed something on his controller that made his game stop then he gesture his hand on the couch to sit with him.

He's such a baby

"This is tea btw"

I sit beside him and hand him my cup carefully.

"It's fine. Thanks babe."

"I was hesitating to disturb you. I know how intense you're games are and seeing how focus you are in the screen"

He was surprised. He almost burned by the hot tea that made me alarmed but he just shrugged it off.

He chuckled loudly and put the cup on the coffee table together with his controller.

He put his arm around my waist that made me turned around at him by the sudden closeness.

"If you want my attention babe, all you have to do is asked"

I rolled my eyes at him. I expected he'll be cocky again. I was about to push him but he tightened his hold.

"You do know it's past 2 in the morning, right?" I asked

He make a surprise face like he was caught in a deer light. I internally smile by this rare sight. I can't seem to get mad seeing he has a cute side.

I folded my arm and rest my head on his shoulder

"Is this what you usually do on your off days?" I asked

"In the past. I haven't got a chance to do it because of our crazy schedule"

Right.

He is famous now and haven't been in a break for a while.

I should be more understanding and

I shouldn't been jealous over a box.

Jealous over a box?

What the heck would i be jealous?

"I understand it now. This is your way of relaxing."

"In someway. But if i want to be relax, i want to spend it with you"

I sighed with flustered ears.

"Here he goes again" i said nonchalantly.

He chuckled

"You should take a rest. You're eyes bags are getting bigger now than the last time i've seen you"

I said out of concern.

"You can sleep on the master's bedroom. It's next to my room. The bed is much bigger there for you to sleep in. I put your stuff in there too"

"This feels right" he suddenly said that made me pause.

"It's been a long time since i've been this comfortable I forgotten how it feels like"

I raise my chin up to meet his face but Bright looked at me strangely with a captivating his smile that it made me feel flustered and the same time at ease.

"I can finally breathe now with you're around"

The corner of my mouth turned up by his sudden confession. He always has something cheesiest picked up line to say that will caught me off guard.

I don't want to flatter him more so i side bump him in his rib and i said

"You're becoming more and more cheesy, mister. Tone it don't a little"

He laughed loudly that it vibrate and contagious.

Hearing it makes my heart full.

I love hearing it the most.

I was preparing our late brunch when I received call from Charlie earlier to babysit her son Mace for a week. They have an important appointment in Hong Kong they can't ignore and who wouldn't love taking care of cute baby Mace. He so adorable I would steal him is i could but that's illegal.

But the problem is, I still have a few things to deal from the shop today from the orders I received yesterday and Mace is arriving any moment now. What would cool aunt's gonna do?

"Is there a problem?" Bright said while sipping a cup of coffee. Looking at me asking across the small antique dining table. We are currently eating our meal.

That's right! Bright is here.

He can take care of Mace for a few hours.

But can he do it?

"Charlie asked me to babysit Mace for a week" I said

"What?" Bright was surprised

"They have an emergency call from Hong Kong and Charlie said it's not safe to bring Mace around because they move a lot for the meetings"

"And you accept it?"

"Yes. Who wouldn't? I love Mace" i said confidently

He chuckled and murmur something.

"What was that?" I asked confused

"Nothing. Are you sure you can babysit a little kid?" Bright asked doubtfully

I gave him a sly grin while folding my arm and said

"Yes and that's when you come around.

You will help me take care of him."

"WHAT?"

"You heard me." I said

He shakes his head amusedly and said defeated

"I love seeing you're confidence towards me babe. but I don't know how to take care of a child"

"You have me. I always take care of Mace when they gone out of town."

I lean forward and grab his hand

"Please babe. Just for a couple of hours today." I pleaded

"I just have to sort something up in the shop later and i'll be back soon after"

He paused for a while. He looks like conflicted but after he take it in. he gave in.

"Fine."

He sighed

Yes! I'm glad he didn't refuse.

Would it be okay to leave the child to a man child?

"I think i can manage for a few hours and just don't put your phone of silent."

I stand next to him and hold both his cheeks pushing it lovingly.

"Thank babe. They will be here in a few minutes"
