I tipped toe as I walk to the hallway towards my room. Carefully, as I'm near to my room all the lights turned on. I froze and startled.

"Where were you? It's 3 in the morning." Stern high pitched voice from my mom send chills to my spine.

"Y-you're still awake, Ma?"

She walk in front of me with both arm folded while i was standing still; scared for her outburst.

"Yes! I was waiting for you. You left me in the hotel. All alone. I didn't raise you to be like that Demi Marie"

I was so ecstatic about what happened at Bright's place and it slipped my mind what my mom did and how intrusive she is.

"But i asked auntie Maria to picked you up."

"Still it's an awful thing to do"

"Ma, I'm sorry you felt that I disrespected you. I had enough of your matching-making ideas." I said tiredly

"Demi–

"–Please ma. I know you're tired and it's late. Can we talk about this later?"

I gently pat her shoulder, calming her down and with reassuring voice "I promise I won't argue with you. Please?"

"Fine. Let's discuss this in the morning." As she sighed and went to my room.

I yawned. with a little smug on my face.

"You looked tried? Did some actions last night?" Kai asked as she lean on the countertop next to me in the kitchen.

I burned my tongue with my coffee in her sudden question.

"Kaaaai! Don't surprise me like that" l fan my tongue with my hand and blushed.

As i remember what happened last night. We watched Forest Gump but he interrupts me with his silly questions about the film. I didn't know he can be a kid sometimes.

It's 7 am in the morning. I'm lucky Ma is still sleeping heavily in my bed. I can drink my coffee at peace.

She laugh as she poured herself a cup of coffee.

"As the day passes you're always in the zone. Spacing out here and there. But there's a slight difference today."

"What kind of difference?"

"You seem annoyingly happy" she said judging me with her eyes.

I divert my eyes and drink my coffee again.

"Don't hide it, Dee. I'm intuitive when it comes to this" She nudges me in my arm.

"I'm not hiding anything"

She chuckled "I know you stayed up later last night. Moi said you're not in her bar so..."

"Okay okay!

I'm with Bright. And we didn't do a thing if that's what you're thinking.

She laughed loudly like a hyena. She even cried.

"–What's the commotion all about?" Mom said in her high pitched voice. Bring her rattan hand fan.

Kai wiped her teary eyed eyes

"Nothing Auntie. looks like Demi got herself a man" she said mischievously as grab food in the fridge.

My eyes went wide.

Kai and her mouth.

"Oh Really? Is that so?" Mom said dramatically as she sits the chair the dining area.

I shake my head and pour her a cup of coffee and bring it so her.

"Kai is just teasing, Ma"

"But it looks like she doesn't. I remember you stayed up late last night. I waited for so long–

"–she's with Bright last night, Auntie."

"What!? No she didn't?" Mom said surprisedly like a drama queen she is.

"Kai" i hissed with warning.

"What? You said it earlier."

I sighed loudly

Mom with cheshire cat smile. Suddenly her mood changed drastically.

I don't know if this is a good thing or i 'll make it worst.

"So tell me about it, honey!" Mom said excitedly.

"Yeah, come on tell us more Dee" Kai added as she put the overnight oats with fruits in the table.

I sometimes thought if Kai and mom is the real mother and daughter. They seem to resemblance each other.

"Can we eat first before–

"No No No. tell us NOW!"

Mom said with excitement.

I sit next to them bring my coffee with me.

I don't want to drag this. I'll make this short as possible.

"I'm dating him" i said softly

"Yes! Finally! God answered my prayers!" Mom said enthusiastically. Fanning her self with her rattan hand fan.

"Told you ,auntie! My gut feeling is powerful" Kai said sweetly

"Yes yes Kai! I thought she will be old maid for eternity"

What a drama queen!

Mom grab her phone in her dress pocket and continue

"This is a big news! I'll call you dad first. Wait children."

She excuse herself but i can hear her loud high pitched voice from here. Like her mouth made of out megaphone.

"Papi! Darling, Guess What!? Demi got herself a boyfriend! She will be married! We will have grandbabies! Yes! Yes! Finally! QTY'?!(,5"

(POV)

I was checking our schedule for this week. Whistling to the tune of kan goo as i was laying down on a couch. Checking for my free time.

Our work is getting heavy this days. Practice for our concert, workshop for our upcoming series, guesting, interviews and photoshots after photoshots plus our business to take care of. I'm lucky to have a day off in a week.

Having Win as my partner crime is a gift in mundane situations. His mischief combined with his craziness uplift our tired minds and hectic days.

"Someone's in a good mood."

As Win sit lazily in the armchair besides me. Sipping his iced coffee.

I smirk at him as I change position to sit comfortably in couch.

"I'm always in an good mood"

He give me a side eyed.

"You're kidding, right? Did someone possess you?"

I slowly slapped him head with our schedule sheet as he laugh mockingly.

"I just had a good sleep."

"Yeah right, i can see thru you Phi. Did something happened I didn't know?"

As he lean forward moves his eyebrow with his little dance like a kid mischievously

"Nothing.

Stop messing around Win."

"I can't help it that's how much i love you, phi." Win answered as he make a finger heart and kiss it move towards me teasingly

"Cut it out Metawin. You're spoiled my happy mood"

As i grab his coffee drink and sip from it. Leaning on the couch.

"Hey! That's my drink P'Bai."

We're currently shooting for a magazine cover for an international market. Going global was not we expected. We are happy to be known not only in our country but other country as well.

Win sit beside me and annoyed me further.

"Is it about Demi, did something happened Phi?" He whispered.

"Metawin, there are people around. I tell you after this." As squint my eyes at him

"Okay okay. Copy Master!" As He lead back on the couch. Grabbing his phone.

The down side of being a celebrity is our lack of privacy. Even if our privacy was taken from us, there are still parts of it that's worth it.

Looking back at the schedule. I worried about our back to back concert.

"Have you seen the schedule? It's pretty packed"

"Yeah, I've seen it. I'm a little bit worried about the dance practices though" Win said absentmindedly as he checked his social media.

"Me too."

We looked at each other then laughed like we know what we are thinking about. I'm sometimes wonder if our mind is link to one another.

Our fans says we like soulmates.

I highly think we are twins from the past separated and rekindle in the present.

"I can't dance to save my life. I don't want to make a fool of myself" I chuckled

"As long as they give me food I don't mind. I'll dance 24/7" Win said confidently then dance his signature moves.

I laughed to his annoying confidence.

"B1, B2, The crew are ready. It's time to continue the shoot." P' Edd said cutting our little break.

Win clapped but his hands and said cheekily

"It's show time!"

Win sleeping next to me in the back of our van. He was exhausted from our busy day. We are heading to the GMM studio for our dance rehearsal.

I text Demi earlier today and it's 4 in the afternoon she didn't respond back yet.
