The next chapters coming up will only be about Kamiya and Kairo's relationship including flashbacks.
Baby, I love you, I thought you knew this
Stop getting angry, stop all the madness
We meant to be, look how long we lasted
Sadness, I ain't eat in days like I'm fasting
Blasted, I wanna be with you 'till my casket
I'm just disappointed in your actions
Then you get upset in my reactions
To be honest babe I'm just passing
We were doing straight and now we're slanted
Tuesday 25th September
"It's been how many weeks and you still ain't got these niggas yet, what the fuck you been doing," Omar's voice boomed through Kairos car speakers.
"Pops these niggas is smart, we talking about Nick here pops," he replied trying to justify why he hadn't caught Gunna and the rest of them.
"I don't give a fuck if we were talking about the damn president here, I want these niggas head, don't make me embarrass your ass," and with that Omar had hung up the phone leaving Kairo in his thoughts.
After a while of thinking, Kairo exited out his car and made his way to his house, which he hadn't been in for days.
"Your home," Kamiya announces in a whisper once she saw Kairo.
He completely ignored her making his way to where he saw Aaliyah sitting on the carpet playing with her dolls.
"Daddy," Aaliyah screamed once she saw her father and immediately dropped her toys running into his arms.
"Hey daddy's baby," he cooed, picking her up and planted kisses all over her face.
"I wissed you," she said after her laughter had died down.
"I missed you too baby, daddy won't ever leave you again," He promised cradling her in his arms. At this moment in time, with everything happening around him, the only person that seemed to make him smile nowadays was his daughter.
He could be pissed one minute but the moment he saw or heard Aaliyah's voice his whole mood changed and a grin would replace the mean mug he once held.
"Dolls," she pointed down at her dolls indicating she wanted to play with them.
"You gone just leave your daddy for some dolls," he joked tickling her causing her to burst into a fit of laughter.
"Play," she demanded when he let her down as she held 2 dolls in her hand, handing one to him.
"Oh so you gone just demand me to play with you," He sat crisscrossed as Aaliyah bossed him around on what to do with the doll.
"Can we talk for a second," Kamiya whispered looking down at him.
"Nah I'm good," he dismissed her not even looking at her as he focused his attention on Aaliyah.
Kamiya sighed as she went back to clean up the mess her and Aaliyah made when making cupcakes.
"Can we talk," Kamiya asked again, while Kairo put a sleeping Aaliyah in her bed.
"Get out my face Kam," he waved his hand indicating for her to leave him alone, she ignored his rude antics and decided to put her pride aside and suck up to him.
"No, we need to speak," she stepped in front of him to stop him from opening the door.
"Ain't I got shit to say to you," he tried to go around her but failed as she followed his movement.
"Bro, move out the way,"
"Not until we talk, please can we talk," she began to get emotional at the way Kairo was dismissing her.
"Kamiya," he took a deep breath before he spoke again.
"We in our daughter's room, don't do this," he looked back on Aaliyah to see if she was sleeping, in which she was.
Kamiya sighed and moved to the side in defeat. She shamelessly watched as Kairo walked out the door into the hallway.
"I'm sorry," She followed Kairo down the stairs, as he went to tidy up the mess he and Aaliyah made. He ignored her feelings as if he's heard that so many times from people he trusted.
"K, I never meant any of this to happen," she continued trying to get her point across.
"Yes, I should've told you all this early but honestly I was scared, scared for what you are doing right now, shutting me out," Kairo still didn't answer her but he was listening to everything she was saying. He didn't want to give Kamiya that satisfaction of knowing he was listening to her.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP TALKING TO ME BRO," he shouted at her. He was becoming irritated with her presence alone but now she was talking which irked his nerves even more.
"Who gone check me, WHO GONE CHECK ME," she shouted at him cocking her head side to side while speaking. She was catching an attitude with Kairo now because she wasn't going to take him disrespecting her for too long.
"Maannn," he dragged out not having anything more to say to her.
"I know you've been taking again," Kairo's ears perked up from that statement. Kamiya started to tear from just the thought of him taking drugs again because of what occurred last time.
*Flashback*
"What the hell are you doing," Kamiya shrieked as she saw Kairo's head leaned over the table sniffing a line of cocaine.
"Why you home so early " he dismissed her question before wiping the excess cocaine off his nose.
"Don't ignore me, what are you doing," she wobbled with her 7-month belly over to the table as quick as she can, once she reached the table she swiped her hand over it making all of it fall onto the carpet.
"Why the fuck did you do that bro," He stood you his feet in a quickness getting in Kamiya's face with his nose flared.
"Get out my face Kairo, why the hell you taking crack for, you sell that shit not use it,"
"Well your bitch ass been getting on my damn nerves so here we are," he through his arms drastically in the air.
"My bitch ass," She mocked him with squinted eyes.
"Yes your bitch ass," by now Kairo began to feel the cocaine enter his body and take over.
"I don't know who the fuck you think you talking to, I'm not one of your Lil friends," He now left no space in between within them once he finished with his statement.
Feeling intimidated by him she decided to step a few steps back but from the adrenaline, Kairo was feeling he decided to move forward as well back to where they had no space in between.
"Kairo what are you doing," Her breathing hitched once she looked up and to his intimidating stare.
"I was chilling then you came ruining my shit,"
"I was ruining shit, why you doing this shit in the first place," she could feel herself begin to cry at the thought.
"Because your ass been stressing me the fuck out," he revealed, that alone made a pregnant Kamiya start to cry.
"I don't do anything to you," She cried out shoving him away from her. He snatched her hand away from her forcefully before closing the gap again.
"Don't put your hands on me, when I hit your ass back it's gone be a different story,"
"Can you just leave me alone please," she sniffed wiping her tears away with this back of her hand.
"You know what I find funny," he yanked her wrist causing her to wince in pain.
"Let me go," she tried to free herself from his tight grip but it was no use. Kairo was officially high off crack and couldn't contain his temper or his actions.
"You know what I find funny," he solicited again gripping her up more, by now Kairo had grabbed a hold of the shirt Kamiya was wearing as she was now on her tiptoes.
"Kairo please," she pleaded afraid of what he would do because she could see in his eyes that he wasn't the Kairo she was used to.
"Kairo please what," he taunted,
"Please leave you alone, please let me go," he muttered into her ear.
"You are hurting me," she whimpered as tears cascaded down her face.
"Don't try yank away from me,"
"I never, please just let me go,"
Kamiya thought she would never see the day that Kairo would raise his hand to slap her, but he did.
"Stop fucking crying, I can't take that shit," He retorted wiping his hand down his face. Kamiya couldn't stop crying, her breathing had been caught in her throat from the shock that she was in.
"Let go of me, I can't and I won't associate myself with a drug user," She stayed making a huge mistake which she soon regretted because as soon as those words left her mouth, Kairo's insecurities came scrambling through his body and he soon found his hands draped around her throat.
"You got another nigga other than me, huh," he shook her body by her neck vigorously, causing her to gain a headache. Soon scenarios of Kamiya cheating popped up in his head and he couldn't help to contain his anger.
"Is that baby even mine," he voiced one of the many suspicions that floated through that brain of his.
"Wh-what k-" she began to plead her case but was stopped by Kairo thrusting her into the wall. She arched her back from the impact as she crouched in discomfort, Kairo did not have one ounce of remorse on his face as he watched Kamiya fall into the floor.
"Oww," Kamiya cries out as she laid on the floor holding her back with one hand and her stomach, which began to hurt, with the other.
*Flashback over*
That was probably one of the most horrible days of Kamiya's life. That day she almost lost her daughter from how hard the impact was.
It took Kairo months for Kamiya to talk to him again, and for him to go and use drugs again brought up those horrific memories and she refused to go through that again.
"I can't go through that again Kairo," she shook her head side to side in a denial mode.
Kairo turned around in regret and shame.
He regretted that day ever happening, he put his girlfriend and his child in danger. When he had finally come out of jail and was sober he fought hard to get Kamiya to forgive him and since that day promised to never do drugs again, but when Armani got kidnapped he couldn't help himself.
He had gone spiral back into depression again and couldn't seem to get out of it.
"You know I'll never put you through that again Kam," he honestly stated.
"How can you promise me or our daughter that," she replied forcing her tears back.
"You know I'll never hurt ya'll intentionally again, especially my daughter,"
"Intentionally," she mimicked scoffing.
"So when you do hurt us unintentionally, what now, I want, no I need you to stop doing this shit or whatever you are doing," She seriously instructed with a sad expression plastered on her face.
"Stop worrying about the past, I'm not gone do that shit again, I been told you that,"
"I know you did not just say stop worrying about the past when the reason we are not on good terms right now is because of my past," She was now beginning to get annoyed with Kairo and his presence.
She couldn't believe what Kairo was saying about forgetting about the past when her past was the reason why the relationship was in shambles right now. This is one of the traits she hated about Kairo, when you do what he does it's a big problem but when he does it, it's all fine because it's him who's doing it.
"That's different and you know it," he defended resulting in Kamiya to let out a scoff.
"Yeah, it's only different because you doing it, why do you get a pass but I don't," she inquired folding her arms across her chest.
"No, it's different because you were with an enemy,"
"So what, how many years ago was that Kairo, I didn't know he was your enemy until after we started dating if I had told you back then when we just started dating would you have believed me, no," she answered his question for him knowing what his answer was going to be already.
"That's not the point," was his only comeback he could come up with. Kamiya let out an obnoxious laugh as she dramatically lifted her arms up.
"Your unbelievable, there's no point in having this discussion because it's like I'm talking to a brick wall," she dismissed herself from the conversation and headed upstairs to her room.
"Just like always you run away from your problems," he childishly shouted towards her, she simply ignored him knowing he just wanted a reaction.
"You can never own up to your mistakes," he continued, this time Kamiya marches downstairs into his face before answering.
"Don't ever say I run away from my problems, I came to you about Nick, doesn't matter how long after I still came to you, when I was first pregnant I didn't run away, it was you who ran away, so don't ever say I run away from my problems when I'm forced to face them unlike you,"
"Man whatever," he dismissed her knowing she was right but he didn't want her to get the satisfaction of her knowing that but Kamiya already knew she was right she didn't need the confirmation of Kairo to know that.
"But I run away from my problems when you literally just dismissed me right now," she shook her head in disappointment, she couldn't believe this is what they had come to.
"I just don't understand Kairo," she whispered while sighing, she was honestly getting tired of the bickering they were doing.
"Me neither, how my now ex-fiancé lies about her past," He replied, the mention of ex-fiancé broke Kamiya's heart but she kept a straight face on.
"Ex-fiancé huh," she recited his words back to him just so he knew what he said. Kairo was taken back for a moment before he remembered he was the one who said it before nodding his head in confirmation.
She looked down at her ring finger where the big diamond ring occupied it contemplating her next decision. Tears creeped out of her eyes the longer she stared at the ring, Kairo also stared at the ring, not sure on what he even wanted anymore.
"I guess you want this back then," she slowly slid the ring off her finger, by now tears were streaming down her face and Kairo couldn't help but let a few escapes from his eyes as well.
She tugged at his hand to open but once brushing against it she felt a cold shiver shoot through her body, she hadn't touched Kairo so long her body started to crave his touch.
She rejected the feeling, opening his hand so she could place the ring in it.
"Thanks," he mumbled before shortly turning around to head to another room other than the one that Kamiya occupied.
"I'm sorry, she muttered not sure if that was to herself or to Kairo.
She didn't understand herself at times. One minute she was happy that she was finally sticking up for herself to Kairo but apart of her felt as though Kairo had the right to because she thought that she caused all of this and she was to blame.
She closed her eyes for a few seconds to gather all her thoughts together then headed to the room they once shared.
He said ex-fiancé, what don't you get Kamiya
"No, get out now," she banged her fist against her head to try and get the voice out of her head.
He doesn't love you anymore
So what are we going to do?
The voice continued to pester her inflicting her to clamp her eyes shut thinking that will make the voice go away along with the migraine she was starting to form.
We aren't going to do anything
Sadly she was mistaken because the other voice she hadn't heard in years was back again.
Kamiya suffered from schizophrenia since the age of 18, right before finishing high school. At first, the doctors weren't sure what it was because one day she would show signs of schizophrenia making it seem like she had it, then the next day she would be totally fine and have no signs of it n making the doctors in doubt.
But that was only because she was suffering from bipolar disorder.
Her late teenage years were the worst years for Kamiya.
The doctors didn't notice any of her disorder until nearly a year later of doing a test on her, but only because Nick had paid them to hurry them up. By then it had gotten worse because she wasn't taken any treatment for it, so her outburst would be the worst and no one would have an explanation for it except for Nick, who knew the symptoms because he was familiar with them.
His brother had suffered from Schizophrenia and bipolar disorder as well PTSD, this resulted in him taking his own life because of the hallucinations he received along with a lot of other stuff.
Shut up yes we are, we have to get revenge
The voice struck again.
"Please stop arguing," Kamiya hissed out loud, she went straight to her room and into the bathroom. She searched all through your her cabinet looking for it but became frustrated when she could find it.
"Where the hell did I put it," she muttered moving all the makeup she had on the countertop still searching for it.
Maybe it disappeared, it's because you like us so much
"Shut up, I don't like you at all," she turned her head as if she was actually talking to somebody.
I didn't even do anything
"Yes, there you are," she found the pill bottle in between the stash of perfumes she kept in the cabinet underneath the sink.
"Really, how is it empty," She huffed and threw the bottle on the floor before putting her hands on the bathroom counter. She was oblivious to the fact that last week, the last time that she took the pills, was, in fact, her last pill.
So Kamiya hadn't taken her pills in nearly a week and it would take even longer to get her pills restocked, meaning she would be without medication for a while.
Which wasn't good for her or the people surrounding her.

Sorry for the late update.
Exams coming up so I need 50 VOTES for a NEXT CHAPTERð
Yes I said 50ð
I've now realised I don't get as many votes compared to my views which is unfair.
I write so much and the least yall could do is vote.
My votes look bad, comments look bad, this book is in shambles, I don't deserve this.
But enough about me ranting.
