“Battle!” Lisa declared loudly, announcing her entry into the Battle Phase.

“Undrax! Take down the weakened Samuel!”

Undrax Power: 1,500 vs Samuel Power: 1,800 → 1,300

Samuel is defeated and sent to the Rest Zone.

“Salamandra, finish off Aveline.”

Salamandra Power: 1,000 vs Aveline Power: 800

Aveline is defeated and also sent to the Rest Zone.

Amaya clenched her jaw, clearly frustrated. She hadn’t expected her field to be cleared so quickly.

“And finally…”

Lisa raised her gaze toward Elana standing beside Amaya. The corner of her lips curled into a grin—twisted, almost unhinged.

“Ashendoom—incinerate her Guide!”

In sync with Lisa’s command, Ashendoom opened his massive jaws. A sphere of blazing energy gathered, pulsating with violent heat, ready to be unleashed.

“HELL DESTRUCTION BURST!!!”

Ashendoom roared as a torrent of molten plasma surged toward Elana.

In a desperate defense, Elana raised a radiant barrier of light—but it wasn’t enough.

The shield shattered under the sheer force of the blast, and the stream of red-hot energy struck her head-on.

“ELANA!!”

Amaya cried out, watching helplessly as her Guide was consumed by the explosion.

There was nothing she could do.

As the blast faded, Ashendoom lowered his head, staring at the impact zone.

Elana still stood—barely. Her wings were singed, blackened feathers scattered in the air.

But she had taken too much damage.

Elana collapsed and was sent back to the Guide Zone.

Lisa let out a breath, tinged with disappointment.

So this was it?

She had expected more… something greater, something thrilling.

“Is that all?” Lisa sneered, mocking her opponent with a voice dripping in disdain.

Amaya scowled and immediately began her turn.

“DRAW!” she shouted as she drew the top card from her deck.

“OP limit increase! I generate 3 OP!”

Three glowing blue orbs materialized beside her.

“Return to the field once more—!”

“Guide Call!”

“Everlonging Prayer, Elana!”

Responding to her call, Elana descended gracefully onto the arena, her presence radiant.

“Elana’s effect activates—I reveal Divine Instrument - Upright Piano!”

A shining card flashed in Amaya’s hand.

“With this, I activate Divine Instrument - Calibratyc Cymbals!”

Twin golden cymbals appeared in Elana’s hands. Calmly, she struck them together.

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

A sharp, echoing chime reverberated across the battlefield, sending disruptive waves that visibly shook Ashendoom.

“All of your followers’ Power is halved,” Amaya explained coldly. “Then I choose one of my own followers—their Power will increase by the total amount your followers just lost!”

Salamandra: 1,000 → 500

Ashendoom: 3,000 → 1,500

Undrax: 1,500 → 750

Elana: 2,500 → 5,250

“Five thousand… two hundred fifty…” Lisa muttered under her breath, eyes narrowing.

“What’s wrong?” Amaya taunted with a smirk. “Getting scared?”

Lisa scoffed at the provocation.

“For an idol, you’ve got quite the mouth,” she retorted with a mocking grin.

Amaya clicked her tongue.

“So you know who I am?”

“Ursa didn’t even try to hide it when I asked,” Lisa shrugged. “Given that, what can you do?”

“In that case…”

Amaya tore off her disguise—mask and sunglasses tossed onto the grass with a dramatic flourish.

“I’ll fight without holding anything back!”

“I pay 3 OP—”

The three blue orbs shattered into sparkling light.

Elana lifted her fingers into the air. A projection of transparent piano keys floated beneath them.

“Divine Instrument - Upright Piano, now presented!”

Elana’s slender fingers danced across the phantom keys with elegance, her wrists rising and falling like flowing water, each motion graceful and measured. It was like silk weaving a melody—fluid and mesmerizing.

“Thanks to its effect, I gain 1,000 LP!”

Amaya LP: 12,000 → 13,000

Amaya took a slow breath in—and exhaled.

Her setup was complete.

Everything she’d prepared had led to this.

Victory was just a few notes away.

“The second effect of Harmonious Harmonica activates automatically!”

“I choose three Divine Instruments on the field and Attach them to one follower I control!”

“Attach!”

Elana gently lifted from the ground, her wings spreading wide.

The golden cymbals hovered at her left.

The sacred harmonica floated at her right.

And in front of her, the ghostly piano keys shimmered protectively.

All three Instruments began to resonate in unison—Elana, too, resonated with them, as if her soul had become one with their rhythm.

And Amaya…

She felt something stir inside her.

A warm, calming presence.

The kind of serenity she used to feel… from her beloved older sister.

Just a few more notes… and the rhythm of victory will play.

She smiled to herself.

“Battle!” she shouted, loud and confident, with no hesitation in her heart.

“Elana’s second effect activates!”

“During the Battle Phase, if Elana has any Attachments, she gains one extra attack for each!”

“…Four attacks,” Lisa muttered with a grimace.

Amaya beamed, hearing her opponent’s reluctant admission.

“Feel it—

Trinity Rhythm!”

The three Divine Instruments rang out in unison—each with its own distinct sound, steady and precise. Their resonance struck Ashendoom and his subordinates with surgical precision, overwhelming them.

They were all defeated—sent to the Rest Zone.

“Elana, direct attack!”

Lisa LP: 8,000 → 2,750

“Turn end.” Amaya ended her turn calmly.

One more turn. Just one, and victory would be hers.

But Lisa stood frozen, silent.

She seemed to be processing what had just transpired—until a quiet giggle escaped her lips. Then, without warning...

She burst into a fit of laughter—wild, ecstatic, unhinged.

Her face was flushed, her breathing ragged.

It was as if the sheer joy of this moment was overwhelming her.

Amaya instinctively stepped back.

Lisa’s behavior was unsettling—no, disturbing.

There was still enough of a rational mind in Amaya to recognize fear. And right now, fear was exactly what she felt.

Lisa, still trembling with excitement, struggled to contain the euphoria flooding her.

And from that frenzied smile came words—gleeful and ominous.

“This is how it should be...”

“Absolutely magnificent…”

She drew her next card.

“My turn. DRAW!”

A low chuckle escaped her again.

“Thank you… for such a beautiful musical performance.”

Lisa gave a slight curtsy, dipping low with practiced elegance—though she had no skirt to hold, she crossed one leg behind the other, arms at her sides, and offered Amaya a playful, mocking smile.

“Now… allow me to return the favor.”

Ending her exaggerated bow, she swept her right hand outward in a theatrical gesture.

“With a melody that heralds inevitable destruction!”

As if echoing her declaration, Ashendoom behind her let out a thunderous roar.

The sky above trembled—clouds evaporated under the weight of his voice, revealing the full moon.

Cold sweat trickled down Amaya’s temple.

Her jaw clenched tight.

Whatever Lisa was about to do…

It was nothing close to a beautiful symphony.
