Chapter 15: IronWood and the Council

Black was sitting down in Team RWBYs dorm.

The cafeteria was fixed after the first years food fight.

It took both professor Ozpin and Vegeta to keep Glynda off him after he said let's do it again.

And apparently one of the teammates of Sun, his name was Neptune, showed up during the food fight and Sun was introducing them.

"And this guy is Black, he's a real tough guy."

Sun introduced him to Neptune.

"Hi its nice to meet you." Neptune held out a fist for a fist pump.

Black looked at Neptune's fist before looking back at Neptune.

Neptune retracted his fist "OK then, not much of a fist bumper got it."

Black looked off to the side clearly in either deep thought or boredom.

Then Ruby got his attention.

She sat right were he was looking.

He raised an eyebrow "Is there something I can do for you Ruby?"

"We need to find out who those guys were." She hopped straight to the point.

Black sat up straight "The ones from the docks you mean?"

She nodded.

"He's the guy that I fought when Ozpin asked me here."

Black nodded. "Then let's find out about him then team leader."

"Don't forget about Baby. He's still out there." Vegeta called out from the door way. Every one turned to look at him.

"Vegetas right about that one he's a threat that we shouldn't leave be, he did take you over after all." Black told the rest of them.

Vegeta walked into the room and shut the door behind him with his tail.

Sun was partially lost and Neptune had no idea what was going on.

"He's been hiding ever since our fight in the city. I haven't felt him since then." Black told Vegeta.

"Then we all need to go investigate!" Ruby jumped up.

Black smiled at her antics.

"Well if we need information, I can go and see what I can find out from my father's company about the robberies they've been committing with the white fang." Weiss said.

"I'll go with you Weiss, we all need some teammates." Ruby told her and the group.

"I can go with you guys." Neptune offered.

"No, I'll go." Vegeta said speaking up.

"Uh, aren't you a teacher? Don't you have classes?" Neptune tried to push.

"My classes are over for the day. And I need to find Baby, so that I may kill him with my own hands." Vegeta spoke menacingly.

Neptune quickly backed down after that.

"I can go dig up some info at a place I know, You can tag along Neptune." Yang told him.

Neptune nodded.

Black stood from his spot on the bed.

"I'll go with you two, I have a feeling you'll need the extra set of hands."

Yang nodded. The last time she went to Juniors it didn't end well.

"Me and Sun will check out the docks for more White Fang warehouses, recruitment rally's are a big part of operations in cities like this." Blake told them.

Then Sun called something unbelievable

"Uh guys, can someone explain the giant warships floating above the school?"

Black and Vegeta looked at him strangely like they were worried.

They rushed to the with Dow and saw a giant fleet that stretched over Beacon and Vale.

"What the hell?" Black looked through the window.

Vegeta jumped through and started floating on the outside of the dorm.

"Who are they?" Vegeta asked the group.

Weiss walked up beside Black.

"Its General Ironwoods fleet, its from Atlas." She told them looking on. "But I don't know why he's here."

"The only reason to bring a fleet like that is to either protect something.....or destroy it, Black we need to go see Ozpin about this."

Vegeta told them.

"You guys get started on the research, we'll catch up later."

Black jumped through the window and sped off towards Ozpin's office with Vegeta.

"OK can someone tell me how they can both fly?" Neptune was absolutely lost.

"Its easier for him to explain it." Blake told him.

-A few minutes later-

Vegeta and Black landed at a large doorway that let out of the cafeteria.

Glynda had already done her magic trick and fixed all of it.

The two quickly walked towards the elevator and got in and pushed the button for Ozpin's office.

As the elevator went up the two stood waiting quietly.

"Are you concerned?" Vegeta asked Black.

"Not really, the last time I fought anything like that was back during my time as Trunk's villain, and they went down fairly fast."

"Your going to have to tell me the full story on that one day......When that day comes pray that I believe what you've done is enough good here to out way the bad you've did there."

Black hung his head and looked back at him with a forced sad smile "I don't think I'll ever make up for what I did there Vegeta."

Vegeta's composer broke for a second not expecting that, he almost sounded like Goku when they fought against Cell, the day he sacrificed his life for the entire planet.

Vegeta immediately pushed that day out of his head and went back to his normal scowl.

Black stopped smiling and straighten up when he heard the elevator door ding.

The doors open and there stood a man in a white suit and Professor Ozpin both around his desk.

They both turned to look at the two.

"Go back to class kids, this discussion is private." The man told them.

Vegeta scoffed and walked right towards a seat  and sat down.

"I'm no student, I'm the new strategy and Tactics teacher. That one over there is the student."

"Don't rub it in Vegeta." Black told him and came and stood next to him.

"Let them be James, I was actually about to call you and introduce the three of you." Ozpin told them.

"Black and Vegeta this is General James Ironwood, from Atlas."

"Then your the one who brought that fleet here then aren't you?" Black asked him with a frown.

"Most impressive isn't it?"

Vegeta chuckled and Black nearly laughed.

"Your little toys do little to impress us, General." Black told him.

"More importantly its a massive threat to every student and teacher here." Vegeta followed up with his comrades statement.

Ironwood looked at them with a prideful and arrogant smirk.

"These entire fleet is under my command nothing is going to happen now that we are here."

Now there was no stopping it, Vegeta and Black were nearly in the floor with laughter.

Ironwoods grin turned into a frown.

Ozpin sighed before looking at Ironwood. "James, do you remember the massive power spikes on your sensors when you were on your way here?"

Ironwood looked at him with a nod.

"Meet the cause." Ozpin festered to the two saiyans nearly falling over in laughter.

Ironwood looked at them with both annoyance and disbelief.

Black finally got up and wiped the slight tear from his eye "That was comedy gold."

"Your joking, right?" Ironwood asked Ozpin.

"Mr. Black, a small.....a very small demonstration if you would." Ozpin  gestured towards him.

Black smiled only slightly darkly and placed his fists by his sides.

His arms bulged for a second, then his chest and legs, then he gritted his teeth and a vein appeared on his neck.

He began to glow with a black aura that erupted in full as soon as he let out a powerful yell.

A burst of air shot from him and pushed Ironwood back in surprise.

The ground under him cracked slightly and that was when Ozpin raised a hand for him to stop.

Blacks aura dispersed like a flame and his body went back to normal to.

His arrogant smirk came back full blast.

"What the bloody hell was that?" Ironwood asked in amazement and shock.

"I didn't even get close to ten percent of my power Ozpin, at least let me shake the school next time." Black told Ozpin.

"Maybe, I can't have you breaking the school now can I Mr. Black?" Ozpin asked him with a chuckle.

"That was only ten percent of your power?!" Ironwood was I'm utter disbelief, and horror at the fact that he was his own students competition during the Vytal tournament.

"Alright enough fooling around, why is your fleer here General?" Vegeta asked annoyed by all the gimmicks.

Ironwood looked at him before standing up straight and placing his hands behind his back and trying to resume looking dignified.

He turned to look at Ozpin "Are they in the know?"

Ozpin nodded "I haven't brought in Mr. Vegeta into our council, but I was planning on it, and Black has been in the know for some time now."

"What are you talking about?"  Vegeta asked them.

"So there's more of us in the know then? A little disclosure about that earlier would have been thoughtful." Black told Ozpin.

"I'll give Vegeta the downstairs tour and explanation, James give Black a run down if you would be so kind." Ozpin told them and quickly ushered Vegeta to the elevator.

"So Vegeta, what do you think of fairy tales?" Was all they heard before the elevator shut.

It was quiet for a few moments. "You know that was one of the strangest conversations I've ever had."

"I completely agree." Ironwood told him.

"So what is it that I'm getting a run down on?" Black immediately became serious.

Ironwood also took on a serious stature and began to explain.

"One of our operatives in the field, a man named Qrow Bradwen, sent me a warning of immediate danger so I came here with my fleet."

Black placed a hand under his own chin in thought.

"I've never met this Qrow, but if Ozpin trusts him in this council than its enough to considered a threat, but what threat could it be?" Black asked him.

"We believe the enemy is here at Beacon."

"What?!" Black nearly yelled in shock.

"We don't know who they are yet, but I would ask you to keep an eye out since your in more contact with the students here than I."

Black sighed and nodded. "I'll keep my eye out, you can contact me with more information on my scroll. Right now I need to head back to my team, we going to dig up some information on the white fang, and some criminal whose having them steal dust."

"I've heard about those robberies, if you find anything out let me know. This might be connected to the same people who attacked Amber."

Black nodded and turned to the elevator.

"Good luck, I'm staying here until Ozpin returns, I'll send your friend your direction as soon as their done."

Black pushed the elevator key and turned back to him "Right, ask Vegeta to explain a person called Baby to you, he might be a even worse threat than the people that attacked Amber....and we need to be ready for when he comes back."

Ironwood nodded in a little shock that there was even more to worry about.

The elevator opened and Black stepped in.

The elevator ride down gave Black time to think.

'Seems we just keep gaining more problems....... I hope Vegeta doesn't blow a gasket when Ironwood asks him.'

The elevator opened again and Black started to walk down the hall.

Three students were going in the opposite direction as him but he was so lost in thought he didn't even see them.

He accidentally bumped into one with sliver hair and a grey and black suit. He was so lost in thought that he hit him to the ground when he bumped into him.

Black turned and looked at him and quickly offered a hand. "My apologies I was a little in a trance."

"Yeah, no problem....man your stout, you knocked me over like it was nothing." He told him as he helped lift him on his feet.

"Thanks, I think." Black told him.

"Don't mind him, he's a not good on manners." The one with green hair and a green and Brown top and pants told him.

"I don't mind I am the one who knocked him over." Black told her.

Their leader he assumed due the way she carried herself turned to look at him.

She was wearing a brown jacket and pants, her eyes were ember colored and she had black hair.

"I apologize for my rudeness, I was distracted." Black held out a hand for her to shake.

"Its no problem...... Why don't I introduce myself, I'm Cinder. What's your name?" She told him while shaking his hand.

"My name is Black, Goku Black but I prefer Black."

"Oh, Mercury's last name is Black, perhaps you two are related." Cinder told him in a musing type way.

"Sorry, no luck there. Black is a name I came by, I don't have a real last name."

"That's to bad, it would've been nice to know you." The green haired one said.

"Oh, come now Emerald. We can still get to know each other just fine." Cinder told them.

"I agree, are you three participants in the Vytal Tournament?" Black asked them.

"Yes, were a team from Haven. What about you?"

"I'm apart of Beacons team, I'm temporarily assigned as a support member for two teams. It seams no one is capable of being on a team with me." Black told them.

"Oh, so your strong. I can't wait till the tournament, you'll be a fun fight." Cinder said with a laugh.

"I hope you can put up a challenge for me, not many can." Black returned with a chuckle.

Suddenly he felt Blake and Suns aura levels heighten, they were in a fight and they were in trouble.

He made a noticeable angry face.

"Is something wrong?" Cinder asked him.

He looked out the window towards were they were.

"I'm afraid I'll have to cut this meeting short, I hope to talk to you three again." He told them and put two fingers to his head.

"O...k." Cinder was obviously confused by his actions.

'Please be safe you two.' He thought before he vanished from their sight.

"DID HE JUST VANISH?!" Mercury ran his hand through were he was and felt nothing but air.

"How....interesting. Let's keep an eye on that one." Cinder told the two with her.

The both nodded unsure of what to make of the plan that was forming in Cinders head.

No decisions have been made on any of the characters or love interest yet. Update for the voting, I need any votes to be in before December first. And for better announcing, we have reached.....
