Chapter ten: More

As promised Black gave the eight a day off from his training.

unfortunately team JNPR had to stay behind for additional class work from professor Port.

Black and team RWBY went to Vale because Weiss wanted to scope out the competition.

Black as usual tuned out most of what he was told.

They were near the docks in vale when he asked, "Why are we here again?"

"You should pay more attention Black, as students of Beacon its our duty to welcome other students who are participating in the Vytal tournament." Weiss stopped and told Black while cocking her head to the left.

Black looked at Yang in confusion who immediately said "She wants to scope out the competition."

"Ahh much more sense." Black said.

"You can't prove that." Weiss told them.

"Hey what happen over there?" Ruby pointed out not paying attention to the conversation.

The rest of them looked over to where she was pointing.

A small shop was wrecked and being taped off by police.

They had a small conversation but the only part Black picked up was something about something called the white fang.

"Hm, dirty faunus degenerates." Weiss spoke out loud.

"Why do you call them that? You don't even know if they did it." Blake voiced her anger of Weiss's opinion.

"Because that's what they are, a bunch of degenerates."

Before Blake could retaliate a voice cried out "Stop that Faunus!"

A man with a white jacket, blue jeans and blonde hair was running from a couple of officers who probably worked on the docks.

The man jumped up onto a lamp post and started to eat a banana.

"Get down you no good stow away."

"Hey I'm a great stow away, a bad one would have got caught." He said before dropping the banana peel on one of the officers head.

The man dropped down and started to run when he pasted by Black and team RWBY, he winked at Blake.

This is when Black noticed his tail and with Goku's memories he was immediately hit with the idea that he was a saiyan. But then he thought about that word that they kept using, Faunus. He was going to ask later.

"Follow him, we need to study him!"

Black nearly fell over at Weiss's statement.

They soon started to chase after him but as soon as they turned a corner Weiss ran into another girl.

After Weiss got up she immediately tried her best to apologize, well apologize the Weiss way.

"Are you OK?" Yang asked after Weiss got done.

The girl raised up like she wasn't even phased. "Oh I am just find, how are you?"

"Uh, good."

"Sooooo who are you?" Ruby asked like a child.

"I am Penny, and who are you?"

The group went one by one introducing themselves. When it got to Black he remained silent staring off into the distance.

'What was that?' Black though to himself about an unknown feeling in his body.

"Well that one is Goku Black, but he just goes by Black."

"That's nice." Penny said.

"Well it was nice meeting you friend." Ruby said as the group started forward.

"Well she's a little weird." Yang whispered to Black.

Suddenly Penny popped up in front of them.

Black looked at her then behind then back at her.

"When did-?" Black questioned his eyes.

"What did you say?" Penny asked quizzically.

"Oh I didn't mean-" Yang started to apologize.

"Not you, her." She said pointing at Ruby.

"Oh i-" Ruby stuttered trying to think of something she might have said wrong.

"You called me friend, are we friends?"

Ruby looked over Penny's shoulder to see all of her team except Black nodding no or making an x with their arms.

Black just looked off in the distance again like he wasn't even paying attention.

He tuned out the conversation and focused on what he kept feeling.

'Its so familiar, but so different.....what the hell is it?'

He was brought out of his trance by hearing Weiss and Blake argue again. The new one that met, Penny, was no where to be found.

"We just don't wanted to be treated equally!" He heard Blake shout at Weiss.

The end of her deceleration intrigued him.

"We?" Weiss asked her in suspicion.

Blake immediately realized her mistake.

"I-I..." She freaked out and ran off.

The group started to run after her but the lost her, Black didn't try to catch her with Weiss around as from what he could tell it would start something back up.

The continued to try and find her for a little while.

Finally Black asked "So can someone tell me what the hell is going on?"

While Ruby kept trying to yell out for Blake, Yang filled Black in on their teammates predicament.

"To think a member of the white fang was under our noses the whole time."

"Weiss you don't know that." Yang tried to protect her friend but it didn't succeed.

"I bet she is a spy for them, getting her little faunus hands on all of beacons secrets." Weiss said harshly.

Black was starting to get angry at Weiss's belittlement of her teammate. But he needed to clarify something first.

"Someone explain something for me. What is a faunus?"

The group turned to him like gears in a clock with this priceless look of shock on their faces.

"What?" Black asked them.

"How do you not know what they are?" Weiss asked him.

"Blissful ignorance, now explain." Black said impatiently.

"Faunus are humans with animal traits, like that guy with the tail back there at the docks. Or velvet with her bunny ears." Yang explained.

"Ah I see, then that would classify me as a faunus then?" Black asked them.

"What do you mean, I've seen no animal like qualities about you. Unless you count your unruly hair." Weiss told him with her usual tone of smugness.

"Saiyan's like me are born with tails, it allows us to reach our true potential as a primal warrior race." Black told them.

"But you don't have a tail, unless your hiding it." Weiss pointed out.

"~Lets pull them down and find out~" Yang said while holding her hands up and wiggling her fingers.

Black inched himself away from her before explaining. "My tail was removed when I was younger. There's a special trait we Saiyan's have that involves our tails and its very dangerous, so my tail was removed to negate that threat."

"That sounds painful, what kind of threat would force you to do something like that?" Yang asked him.

"One I hopefully never experience..... Again I mean." Black quickly caught himself from stopping his sentence to early.

"We'll need to go find Blake she needs her friends. We can start up this conversation later." Ruby was very concerned for her teammate.

"Why? She's white fang, their evil." Weiss pointed her opinion in again.

"Weiss do you remember our conversation about your attitude? I'd like for you to revisit it and shut up." Black was getting offended.

"What? How am I in the wrong here?" Weiss asked him.

"You don't know any thing for fact, your just making baseless accusations because she has animal traits."

"Animal traits, what are you talking about?" Yang got lost really quick.

"Her ears, on the top of her head." Black told her.

"Ears, she just has a boooooo......oooooh." Yang caught on.

"Well if she's so innocent why did she run?" Weiss picked up argument.

"What would you do if your friend and teammate accused you of being the member of a race that she so violently hates?" Black asked her.

Weiss started to open her mouth but stopped seeing his point....and stubbornness.

"Let's start looking again." Black told the group.

Black took the lead and actually looked for her this time believing that he had calmed down Weiss.

The rounded a few blocks before Ruby once again ran into penny.

"Oh, wait weren't you like way over there somewhere?" Yang is once again confused by the girls apparent teleportation.

"I was, but the argument with the cat faunus and the one in white." Penny informed her new friend.

"Oh, have you seen her?" Ruby quickly asked.

"Oh yes she is standing right there." Penny pointed at Weiss.

"No not her, Blake, the one with the bow."

"Oh, I believe I saw her running that way, another one was following her, a monkey faunus."

"That delinquent from the boat?" Weiss asked her.

"WEISS, Seriously we just had this talk!" Black was angered at her use of wording.

"He stowed away on a boat, that makes him a delinquent not the tail." She quickly stated her excuse without looking at Black.

Penny nodded and said "I can show you follow me." She stepped out into the road and was hit by a truck.

Black immediately jumped forward to try and get the truck but Penny was fine, the trucks front caved in around her.

"Oh my god are....you....o..k.....? What on earth?" The truck driver jumped out and confronted the situation only to be completely shocked.

"My apologize sir, I should have looked both ways before walking across the street."

The group just stared in awe, Black includes at her complete disregard of her breakage of his truck.

"Come friends let's go." She motioned.

The truck driver just sat down smacking his face to see if he was dreaming while the group ran off.

"That's the last time I sleep in the parking lot of gas station. Those fumes must be gettin' to me." The truck driver said out loud.

The group ran towards the center of time when they say Blake with the Monkey faunus.

Ruby immediately yelled out her name.

Blake looked over and immediately looked afraid and ran.

"Blake, Wait?!" The monkey faunus and Ruby yelled at the same time.

They all started to chase her.

She ran around a corner and the group followed her.

She ran into a man with a brown hooded cloak and fell down onto her back.

The man turned around to face her.

"You should be more careful little girl, you might never know who you run into." The man said with a strange and higher pitched voice.

Blake didn't even hear him and tried to run around him.

He didn't like that so much. He held out his arm and grabbed her up by the throat.

"You should listen to someone when their talking to you, little girl."

Blake freaked out and hit him on the arm to no avail.

"Let her go!!" Ruby and the group ran up.

"And who might you b-" the man set his sights on Black and went speechless.

"N-no, you can't be here....." The man dropped Blake. She fell to the ground a coughed holding her neck.

Black looked at the man who assaulted his friend.

"Goku....." The man said.

Blacks eyes widen. 'He knows this body.'

"You look different. And I can't feel your ki. Well then maybe fate has given me a second chance to eradicate you." The mans confidence returned with a hint of smugness.

Black slowly slipped in front of the group.

"You know me?"

"Don't play dumb saiyan. Your the I was sent here. Guess I shouldn't be surprise that you would be here to. Well now I'm going to end you."

'He knows this body for sure alright. He knows its saiyan origin, he's going to be a great deal stronger than anyone else on this planet.'

"Its time for my revenge." The man dropped his cloak.

His white hair spiked forward with two downward curved spikes at the base of his hairline. He had pale blue eyes, red lines leading down to his eyes and from his chin. He had yellow armor like cloths that covered his neck and chest with boots and arm gauntlets to match with a black jumpsuit covering everything else except his neck. And on top of it all he had a white tail swinging from his back.

Blacks eyes widen immensely. 'HE'S A SAIYAN!'

"Its time for the tuffles to have their revenge, and this time no one will be here to pick you up when you fall super saiyan! Now I, Baby, will kill you!"

Black got into a stance ready to fight.

"Get Blake and get somewhere safe, this guys just like me." He quietly told the group.

"Black you may need help." Ruby tried to stay.

"If I do than no one on this planet can help me, this guys on my league of power, and you know how strong I am."

Ruby gulped and quickly order the groups retreat.

Yang slowly went and got Blake who went with them wordlessly this time.

"That's right little ones run away, let the warriors fight uninterrupted." Baby assumed his own fighting form.

Black said nothing and tried to weigh his power towards his opponents.

"Ready or not saiyan, here comes Baby!"
