Abubakar's p.o.v

We were talking and I didn't notice the stuffed camel in the microwave, all of a sudden the microwave went boom! The glass crushed into tiny pieces.

Oh no, Yasmin is scared of loud sound—a phobia of some sort. She is gonna go nighty-night.

Yasmin fell down on the sparkly clean floor as predicted. Why is Zarah so irresponsible?

Why can't she take responsibility for once? I can now see clearly the reason she kept losing her child.

I don't know what's wrong with me; sometimes I just feel like scolding her and sometimes I feel like looking deeply into her beautiful eye balls.

That's just yesterday's issue—I sorta feel bad, for scolding her. I wish I could amend that mistake, today.

I waited for her. Since I apologized yesterday and she was trying to act important.

I was definitely angry.

She thinks I apologize on a daily basis? But I'm kinda rude too and I can't imagine the kind of scolding she got when Mr. Tariq called her.

The blue Tesla drove inside the palace and I gazed at the car from the balcony; staring at the car's tyre; the way it sparkled and glows as the sun rays reflected on it.

I never thought I'll say this, but; I kinda like the blue Tesla even though that was once my least favourite.

I walked downstairs to welcome her and also get it over with, but what I saw made me mad.

She was putting on niqab?

I thought I wrote a thousand chapters book about that! Ohhh.... She just wanna piss me off. Really it was my fault; being lenient and cool made her forgot who I was and how she was supposed to treat me—with respect!

I walked down to her as soon as she got down of the car. With no hesitation, I grabbed her hand.

I know its a rude way to welcome someone but she insulted me—my rules.

She glared at me, without talking. She didn't say anything or as I thought; maybe she did under that niqab.

"What are you wearing?" I asked, not sure of what to say since I look like the pervert now. I gazed into her eyes again and I can certainly read through her eyeballs she yearn for something.

Me?

Is she in love with me or less have a crush on me? Who wouldn't? I am the Prince of Dubai and I am so handsome and hot. Lemme just say I'm too hot to handle. If she's in love with me, its her lost. Because; she's not my type and also I really hate her.

She snapped off my hands off hers, I forgot we were fasting and I'm supposed to abstain from touching the opposite gender. I scoffed and walked ahead of her and could hear tiny footsteps running behind me. I looked over my shoulder and could see her trying to catch up with me.

That's great. I'm the prince after all.

As we made our way to the kitchen; I asked her again, "Why are you putting that on?"

She scoffed like she really wants to annoy me. "I thought I was a prostitute without it."

Oh, she really caught me off guarded because i was speechless. I knew what she was referring to—she's actually pissing me off because of what Yasmin said yesterday.

She think putting on niqab can make her look less than a kerb-crawler?

I deserved that answer. I nodded and shrugged it off.

Yasmin barged inside the royal kitchen with a fire extinguisher in her right hand. "I thought you'll need this, so I am dropping it," Yasmin sneered.

"I've got you covered." She leered at me. Why was she leering? That's gross.

"I didn't know you can't cook, but there is still a spot for an extra!" Zarah exclaimed furiously which made me  burst into uncontrollable laughter. She actually have the guts now!

"You rat!" Yasmin started and i didn't get it why she always call Zarah a rat. "—You think you've got the audacity to talk to me like that? You can't even make a pepperoni soup and you wanna tutor the Prince; you better pack your loads and get your dirty butt outta here!" Yasmin said dominantly like she was her boss.

"Yasmin...." I called, trying to caution her. I know she was actually helping me because my greatest wish is to get rid of her—but that was harsh.

Zarah glared at Yasmin. "Since you think I can't cook, why don't we have a little food contest." She challenged in anger.

"We are all fasting, who will even be the judge, I mean, who will taste it?" I asked as I wasn't ready for a childish challenge. All I wanted was for this stupid class to be over.

"Accepted!" Yasmin yelled.

What? She can't even boil water talk less of a soup.

"I'll smell it; if it's good I'll know." Yasmin answered my question like a food expert.

Zarah grabbed a small pressure pan and she put it on the burning luminous flame. She grabbed some honey also and Kuzhi seasoning; carrot, ginger and some greenish substance.

Ghee probably.

She emptied the honey in the hot pan, and the awesome smell accompanied.

"As'salamualaikum fans, it's your favorite girl; Yassee Futtaim. Today, we gonna watch how this thing will make a soup, hashtag cooking fail!" Yasmin snickered as she was life streaming and comments were flooding in. I can see her phone from where I stood, she was recording Zarah.

Zarah was adding some rosemary and pepper, she sneezed as she added the pepper.

Her sneezing was cute, I must admit.

"Alhamdulilah." She whispered.

"Errm... Will you use some carrots?" I asked, trying to be helpful.

"Rule thirteen!" She said without looking at me.

Oh, this lady is rude; using my rules against me? Interesting.

Minutes turned to hours. No, it's just seconds, which turned to minutes.

"All ready!" Zarah exclaimed as the sizzling sound seized.

"Alright famz, let's see this rat's biggest fail." Yasmin exaggerated and Zarah served the soup in the soup sauce.

Yasmin held it high in the camera's front and she did what I expected her to do—she spat in it.

She is a big jerk.

"Is this soup or pee?" She asked looking into the camera. Asking her stupid fans.

"Okay fans, if you ever need a cook for your dog or pet monkey; kindly contact Dubai's first cooking ninja. Love from Yasee, mwah." She ended her life streaming.

It was a contest; she is supposed to make hers.

Zarah furiously snatched the soup from her. "I can't believe this. Millions of people are watching that!" Zarah said furiously and walked out angrily but she left Yasmin some death glares making clear the battle line had just been drawn.

Something interesting about Zarah is; she's confident. Different from all of my workers—my workers always fear me. But Zarah on the other hand always talk to me like she's older than me. I mean she is; I checked her résumé.

Just a year, not much.

"And you're welcome." Yasmin said in a singsong manner.

"Why?" I asked.

"—For sabotaging your cooking classes!" She added. Yeah I wanted to sabotage her, but now I don't want her gone yet.

"Should I be thankful for you doing that? You humiliated her in front of your fans. Yasmin you're still having the brain of a teenager, you should grow up; she's done nothing wrong for you, why are you so regardless and clueless? You've changed!" I said waiting for no response as I walked out on her. I know I'm gonna be scolded by her dad later but this isn't right.

I am confused, why am i taking Zarah's side even though I want to abhor her.  What's wrong me?

I guess when I'm scolding her its cool, but when Yasmin does; it's kinda harsh.

* * * *

He sure guessed right.

Zarah was sitting on that same pavement crying as Abubakar walked briskly to her—Zarah heard footsteps and she recognized it.

She knew it's the Prince.

She didn't raise her head to look at that person, because she abhorred anything related to the Prince, crown and the palace. Even Yasmin.

Prince Abubakar's phone chimed and he checked it. It was a notification, he quickly walked away towards the main section/Fazza's division as soon as he read it. Zarah raised her head up to chase the Prince away and she saw Uthman. She was a little bit disappointed.

"I'm sorry?" Uthman said as he sat beside her. More like a question asking her how she was.

"For what? My misfortunes have nothing to do with you. I am used to all these, I shouldn't have accepted  this job. It is suffocating; why are billionaires so demanding, suffocating, rude, arrogant and  stubborn?" Zarah said out of anger.

"And regardless, clueless, ruthless thinks money can buy the world!" Uthman added and Zarah smiled.

"I think I'll resign tomorrow." Zarah said bitterly.

"That's not the Zarah I knew years ago, the Zarah I knew before was courageous, amazing, awesome and never accept defeat!"  Uthman said in a motivational way showing clearly he is from Kuwait, through his accent.

"—If you ever need a friend, I'll be it." Uthman added.

"Thank you akhi, but there is no place for me in this wide palace. I am just a rat in this big new world!" Zarah sighed heavily.

Uthman nudged her in her tummy and smiled. "Then show this new world you are more than a rat!"

"Thank you Uthman, you are a great man. But this is my own fight. Thanks." Zarah thanked him as she walked away, probably finding a good and silent spot to cry. Uthman on the other hand glared at Zarah in nostalgia.
