I'm a huge rugby fan! In Wales, it's practically a crime not to like the sport. Anyway, the France game was against Wales, and guess who won? WALES! Whoop! Anyway, info for this update- the Six Nation Championship is a rugby competition played between 6 countries- England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, France and Italy. Happens around this time every year.
Anyway, comment away on Daniel's reaction to Daniel's attitude at the end of the update! Sarah xx

"Sorry I'm calling you so early."
"It's five in the afternoon. How is that early?"
"I don't know, I just thought it was the right thing to say. France are playing in the Six Nations tonight and I thought that you and your family would want to watch the game, what with Lucas coming home."
"Oh, so you got my text, huh?"
"Yes."
"You didn't text me back."
"I was in a meeting."
"Well, you were right about the rugby. Lucas is a Frenchie through and through and he loves rugby so we'll be watching. He'd kill me if I was on the phone when he was trying to watch the game."
"You don't support France?"
"When you're half Irish and half French, it's best not to really take sides. If we're talking football, then France, because of Zindane and Thierry Henry. If it's rugby, it's probably Ireland. Unless, I want to be really controversial and then I support Scotland."
"What about England?"
"No."
"When Ireland play rugby, do you go to an Irish pub?"
"Sometimes. Other times we just hang out in Dad's study and watch the games. He's got a better choice of booze."
"And what about when France play Ireland?"
"Like two weeks ago?"
"Yes."
"It's mainly a blood bath with lots and lots of screaming and swearing. Those of us who support France yell in French and those of us that support Ireland... well, no one speaks Gaelic, so it's mainly a lot of Irish accented English."
"You don't speak English with an Irish accent, though."
"It's weird, but I do whenever I'm around my da."
"Your da?"
"My dad. It's what I call him. To his face, that is."
"And behind his back?"
"Dad. The next bit is sarcastic- Obviously."
"The sarcasm was obvious or you said obviously in a sarcastic manner?"
"You know, sometimes I think you're just deliberately doing this to wind me up. I mean, you've got to understand sarcasm! Doesn't everyone?"
"Haha, this time I was winding you up, but I don't always know with you. And no, not everyone understands sarcasm."
"That's a shame. It's my most fluent language."
"Oh, I know it is."
"How's the French going?"
"Terribly. I'm seriously struggling."
"I'll help you on Sunday. Talking about Sunday, what's the plan? Are you picking me up? Am I meeting you there? What should I wear? I've got the photo print to give to Connie already but so you think I should get it framed?"
"There were too many questions but I'll try to answer each. Yes, I'll pick you up. It's a long drive so I'll swing by at nine. If possible, wear a dress that's below the knee with conservative heels and subtle jewellery. No, I'll buy a frame and you can put the picture in it while we're in the car."
"You're driving?"
"I will be, yes."
"A dress? Why below the knee and the heels and the subtle jewellery?"
"Because Connie, as you like to call her, thinks herself superior to even the Queen. Hem lines should be modest, shoes should be conservative and jewellery- unless they're diamonds- shouldn't be gaudy."
"Tell me again why I agreed to come with you."
"I wish I could, but you never really told me why you're coming."
"Oh, right. Well, your grandmother asked and I knew you'd get on the wrong side of her if I didn't go. She, like you say, is a formidable woman and I could just imagine her blaming you if I didn't accept her invite. Plus, if Samuel is there, I want to compare you and him. I've said it before but I'll say it again, I don't understand why Arabella would cheat on you! I want to see what Samuel has got that you don't have."
"Basically, you're coming to save me from my grandmother and to size up my brother?"
"Or, you can look at it this way- I'm being a supportive friend."
"You just want to be nosey."
"Ok, you caught me!"
"Knew it!"
"Haha. Are you watching the rugby tonight?"
"I might have a look in. Neither team excites me enough to watch the entire game, but I'll be interested to know the score."
"I'll text you the final score."
"Thanks."
>
"-Yeah, course. What do you want? Water?-"
>
"-Ok. I'll be back in a minute. You need me to get Da to come sit with you?-"
>
"-I know you're not. I'll go get your water now.- Lucas is hooked up to an oxygen tank and has trouble talking. Now that the pneumonia and the chest infection have cleared, the doctors have finally given Luc the go ahead to move to the top of the transplant list. It's just a waiting game, though."
"He sounds... rough."
"Yeah, but he's a tough kid. Hey, um... you know Dr. Woodhouse?"
"Max?"
"Uh, yeah, him. You and he are friends, aren't you?"
"Yes. Why?"
"I was thinking about taking him for a drink, you know, to say a big thanks for treating Lucas and for keeping us informed. Is that, uh, ok?"
"Is this like a date or purely to say thanks?"
"It's a thank you drink, that's all."
"Well, he's single-"
"Thank you drinks. Man, you need to get your ears cleaned out. -Luc, here's your drink.-"
>
"I don't see a problem with you going out with Max. For thank you drinks."
"Daniel, you're making it sound sleazier than it is."
"I'm not. Isn't it unethical for you to be going out with your doctor?"
"He was never my doctor and he stopped being Luc's doctor when Luc was discharged."
"Ok, don't get defensive."
"I'm not. Stop twisting things."
"I'm not twisting anything!"
"Don't shout at me."
"I'm not... fine, ok, maybe I am shouting. I'm sorry."
"It's just drinks, Daniel."
"Why are you explaining it to me? You don't owe me one."
"I know I don't. But you need to stop being pissy with me."
"I said I was sorry."
"If you don't mind, I'd like to spend some time with my brother right now."
"Yeah, ok."
"Thanks."
"I'll call you tomorrow, ok?"
"Yep."
"You should invite Max out for that thank you drink. He- he's a good guy."
"...Ok."
"Bye, Soph."
"Bye."
