12. Shopping and Excited Mom

"So how is it going with you and Luciano?" Em asked me.

We are on our way to the mall for shopping and I'm driving the car. Em is on the passenger seat while Nia and Vans at the back.

"Great actually. We talked on call yesterday." I grinned at her and all three of them squeal excited.

"Valencia is sailing. Yay!" Nia squeals.

"Did you tell him about you?" Vanessa asked.

"Nope. He is frustrated that I know stuff about him and he doesn't."I chuckled.

"And when are you planning on meeting him and revealing yourself?" Em asked amused.

"I dont know." I shrugged and they all laugh.

"What about you Vans? What's happening with you and Eric?" I raised an eyebrow smirking.

"I really like him guys. You know when we got Dantes message and Eric took me to his room. He comforted me and surprisingly I liked it. I like the way he is so soft and caring towards me. He understands me guys. I dont know why we were both wasting time finding other people." She said.

"Thats great Vans. Finally you guys are dating." Nia sighed making us all laugh.

"We're here." I announce and we all jump out of the car and make our way inside.

"Where do we start from?" Nia asked impatiently.

I know the look. She is going to shop from each and every shop and will kill me. I better think about something or I'll die today.

"I'll have some food first so I'll join you guys after I eat." I stated and quickly walked out of there hearing Vanessa and Emma's voices that they know what I did And I laughed at them.

After getting my burger, fries and a strawberry milkshake I found the only table which wasnt occupied and settled down.

Do not judge me people..I love strawberry milkshake. Its awesome!

Its not even a sunday and this place is full of people.

"Hey..uh..Can I sit here? There is no place anywhere else." I looked up and saw a girl with food tray and I nodded at her.

By looking at appearance, she looks like she comes from a wealthy family. She is beautiful with platinum blonde hair and and tanned skin.

"Its so crowded today. I'm Sofia." She said extending her hand and smiling.

"Valentina." I shook her hand and resumed eating.

I'm just not comfortable in talking to new people thanks to Dante the great asshole.

I don't feel safe while meeting new people. Its like they are here to hurt me. Its just a protective mechanism nothing else.

"You don't like to talk?" She smiles again and puts a spoonful of salad in her mouth.

What is with this girl and smiling all the time?

"I don't know you." I state bluntly and she laughs genuinely.

"I'm in your college. Same course." She grins amused.

"I never saw you around." I look at her confused.

"I like to stay..uh..alone?" She stuttered.

Okay? That sounds like she is hiding something.

"Cool. Why do you like to stay alone?" I asked.

She stares at me without saying anything and after gulping down her food she smiles as if she knows me.

"Just like you and your friends like to stay alone."

Okay.

She knows something.

What if Dante has sent her?

This is not good at all.

"I know about you street fighting and racing. I'll keep it a secret. Promise." She said softly.

What the fuck!?

"How do you know that?" I demanded.

"Calm down Valentina. I'm not going to hurt you and I am not a person who spreads rumors." She whispered.

"How do you know about that?" I asked again coldly.

"I have seen you fight once and I recognised you." She answered without being affected by my coldness.

I stare at her without saying anything and she sighs a little sadly and looks at me.

"I'm not a bad person Valentina. I just found your personality matching with mine so I thought..." She stopped in the middle and shook her head as if realising something.

Who is this girl? She does not look evil at all but looks can be deceiving. I don't know what to do.

"Do you also fight?" I asked her in a normal tone now which made her grin.

"I love to fight but I don't do street fighting. That's not my thing." She said an I nodded with a hint of smile on my face.

She does not look like a girly girl and she loves fighting. She actually is like us. I am sure of that.

"Are you alone?" She asked .

"No. My friends are here but they're shopping." I said.

"Ohh..." She started but was cut off by Nia's shouting.

"THIS IS SO UNACCEPTABLE VALENTINA. WE CAME HERE FOR SHOPPING AND YOU'RE EATING LIKE A PIG AND ALSO WITH A NEW FRIEND!?"

I laugh shaking my head and Sofia stares at them not knowing what to do.

"Hey! I'm Emma. " Emma being the over friendly one introduced herself.

"Sofia. Nice to meet you." Sofia smiled at her.

"Vanessa. "Vanessa shakes her hand.

"I'm Nia. Do you like shopping?" Nia asked her.

What the fuck is happening?

"Yes. I love shopping." Sofia answers equally excited.

"I like you already." Nia and sofia hug as if a kid found a candy.

Vanessa and Emma look at me questioningly and I shrugged not knowing what to do.

"Would you like to join us?" Emma asked to be polite.

"I would love to if you don't mind." Sofia smiled genuinely and looked at all of us.

"We don't." All of us said together.

She is safe is what I think and I don't really have an option when Emma literally asked her to shop with us.

I have this gut feeling that she is safe but who knows?

"That's enough guys. I want to go home. I'm so fucking tired!" I groaned.

"But it has just been four hours." Nia argued stomping her feet like a child.

"Its too much for me. I'm hungry and we are done. You can take a taxi if you wanna stay." I smirked and she glared at me.

Vanessa looked at me thankful that I decided to go home cuz we all came in my car.

Sofia and Emma are pouting but didn't say anything.

Sofia is actually really fun to be with. She mixed up with us so well and we all relate so much that it never felt like a new person was with us today. It was like she was meant to be with us.

"You are so much like a person I know." Sofia stared at me with a thinking face and I smiled at her.

"Let's go now." Vanessa groaned.

We all moved to the parking area and Sofia stopped us.

"My driver's already there. It was fun to be with you guys. Give me your numbers." She said and we exchanged numbers.

She hugged us all and walked away.

"She is a good person. I like her." Emma said sitting in the car.

"Yeah. I like her too." Nia replied.

"I know guys but we don't know much about her." I said.

"Yet." Vanessa said.

"Let it be Val. We'll see what happens." Emma said and I nodded.

I checked my phone after reaching home and slipping under my blankets due to tiredness.
