Olivia Winchester

Ok so I decided to spilt chapter one in half because is was waayyy to long. Enjoy!!

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

When I said it was going to be a long day I wasn't joking. Apparently my mother did a good job of making me look "presentable" because as soon as the carnival was open to the public, people came lining up in front of the booth, all ages.

I was also right when I said there would be old geezers and saliva geeks. But there were also tons of kids that went to my school that lined up to get a kiss from me. Surprisingly, no one recognized me, or just really didn't care, they were still just as eager when they made it to the booth and if I'm not mistaken I could have sworn some people got in line twice.

All the while, Neal stood beside me, grunting trying to hold in his laughter. I had to refrain from punching him knowing I would be in for a talking to if my mother found out I was being unlady like. Neal really just stood there laughing at my misfortune. He really only had to pull this guy off me once, but that was only because the guy had one too many beers.

Other than that the whole ordeal went smoothly, well, minus having to kiss a bunch of strangers.

As the sky grew darker the line began to dwindle, lucky for me. There were only about 4 or so people left.

"What are they doing?" I heard Neal murmur, just as the next customer stepped up. The customer was just a little tike. His hair was gelled back nicely, and he wore a nice green button down and brown pants. I held up a finger to him to signal that I needed a moment.

I turned to Neal. "What are who doing?" I asked curiously. Neal simply pointed to a group of girls standing off to the side of the small line. They were causing a bit of commotion, talking and joking around very loudly. It appeared as though they were waiting for someone.

I shrugged, not thinking anything of it. "So, they're probably waiting for their boyfriends or something. Keeping an eye out so I don't get out of hand, most likely."

"They better be." Neal said, crossing his arms in defense. I knew he was thinking they might be here to pull some prank on the poor sap that got stuck with the job of the kissing booth. I was used to the ridicule to the point where it didn't even bother me much any more.

"It's fine." I said before focusing my attention back on the little boy in front of me. He was too short to even reach my face, let alone look over the booth. I stepped around the booth and bent down in front of the boy.

"Hi." I say, simply not knowing what I should say. I wasn't good with children either.

"Hi, you look very pretty lady." The little boy stated.

"Thanks, you want that kiss now? "He puckered his lips in response. I reached up to hold the left side of his face and kissed him on the cheek.

"Hey! That's not what I paid for!" He said with a pout.

"Sorry kid got to keep it PG." I said cracking a small smile.

"This stinks!" The boy said before stomping off. I guess he really thought he was going to get a kiss on the lips.

"Man, I bet that wasn't the only heart you broke today." A soft voice spoke beside me. Still bent down, I stared upward. My eyes travel up pink sandals, smooth, creamy legs, a pink floral sundress to meet warm honey brown eyes.

I quickly stood to stand eye level with the girl that had spoken. I gasped a little realizing she was closer than I had anticipated. The girl had long chocolate tresses that framed her pale, but creamy face perfectly. As I looked into her eyes a could see brilliant flecks of green. A dazzling smile was etched on her face. She was just breathtaking.

My eye's widen when I realize who this girl was standing in front of me. She was Olivia Winchester. She was the daughter to the richest couple in the country club, Francine and Samuel Winchester. Olivia was popular and downright gorgeous, but humble, all at the same time. Olivia was the girl everyone wanted to be, everyone wanted to be her friend. She was also a notorious heart breaker who went through relationships like used tissues. And what made her all the more alluring was that she was bisexual.

Here in Cranbrooke, being gay or a lesbian was like the ultimate social suicide. Not because of their religion, nope because of reputation. Being a homosexual was like a blemish on your face. Being gay was an imperfection.

But when it came to Olivia, she broke all the rules. When she came out to her parents it spread like wildfire, the peculiar thing was, no one dared shun her like she was some type of leper. But when the eldest son of the Merrick's, James came out, they sent him off to his grandmothers. He hasn't been seen since then. Everyone chased after her because she was so bold to be who she was. She was considered perfect so no one would deny her that.

Olivia was the prefect student, daughter, and friend all rolled into one. And here she was standing in front of me while I worked that kissing booth.

Actually, I'm surprised I didn't faint.

"W-What are you doing here?" I stuttered out rather unattractively.

Her smile grew before she looked down at her feet shyly. " It was sort of a dare I guess you could call it? My friends and I heard that there was some new beautiful blonde working the kissing booth. We wanted to check it out." She said looking at me through her long eyelashes. I blushed furiously; the way she called me beautiful was different.

"So are you?"

"Am I-I what?" I said before wringing my hands nervously.

"Are you new around here?"

"Um no." I said, shifting from my left to my right foot. I quickly look to Neal. His face showed that he was still tense about the whole situation. " I-I'm the Montgomery's daughter."

She gasped before giving me a slow once over. "Josephine?" She said, but it came out like a whisper. I hated my name but coming from her it sounded almost beautiful.

I nodded, blush coating my face again, knowing she was deliberately checking me out. " My friends call me Joey."

Well, my one friend.

"Joey." She said as if tasting it on her tongue. Then Olivia stepped close to me, I didn't dare breathe." So, do I get my kiss now?"

My eyes widened. I didn't know she would actually want a kiss from me, I thought she was here to check out the competition or whatever. My heart pounded so hard in my chest, I was positive she could hear it.

"Well, one of my friends already gave my 5 dollars to your thug over there." She said pointing to over left at Neal, who instead of looking tense, bashfully looked to the ground knowing Olivia's attention was on him. " I should at least get what I paid for, even if I do think 5 dollars is a little much for just one kiss."

I looked over at Neal to see what he thought. He just shrugged, not knowing what I should do either. Well, she did pay..........

"Ok." I whisper even though I kissed so many people today I didn't think I would want another kiss in my life.

Olivia smiles before stepping even closer. I could feel her warm, minty breath on my face. She raised her hand to lightly grip my chin as she pulled me closer. My heart was pumping in my chest so inhumanly fast. My eyes flickered down to her lips as a pink tongue darts out, wetting them.

Ever so slowly, my eyes fluttered shut as her soft lips finally connected with mine. Olivia's lips were softer and sweeter than anyone's I had kissed all day. I was so lost in her kiss I didn't even notice Olivia's hands trace my hips to the small of my back, where she connected her hands effectively pushing are our bodies close together. Then I felt her tongue swipe my bottom lip.

I don't know if I would have let her deepen the kiss or not, but I didn't get a chance to think about it before someone places their hands on my shoulders to pull me back.

I stumbled back into the Neal chest, legs still feeling little unstable.

"That's enough." Neal growled. Olivia had a slightly dazed look on her face. Her eyes made contact mine, swirling with surprise and something else I could not place.

She shook her head a little before a small smile appeared on her face again. "Down boy. I was just getting my money's worth."

She threw a sultry wink my way before walking toward the crowd of girls. The girls squealed and patted Olivia on the back. Surprisingly, some glared at me with envy. Olivia sent a warm smile my way before leaving with her pack of friends.

My eyes followed her as she walked into the crowd of people. Neal stooped to my eye level and shook my shoulders to gain my attention.

"You ok?"

"I-I'm fine" I think. I shook my head, clearing it of the clutter Olivia left behind. The booth now stood empty.

"Where did the others go?"

"They left. I guess they got a little impatient. What was that?"

I looked off to the spot where Olivia went. "I have no idea."
