POV: IN-HO
I went to the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror. I looked at it and started washing my face.
"Why is he so successful in love? I mean.. so many people like him! Ugh.. he can be only mine! But is that good? He wants to kill me. I shouldn't think of him like that.. But I think I've finally accepted my feelings. I love him. I LOVE him. And I think I might have an obsession with him. Damn, how does he do it?"
I washed my face and headed back to the room. My subordinates (soldiers) were following me and "watching over" me.
When I went inside I heard square saying that we're now going to the next game. I looked around for Gi-hun but I didn't see him anywhere. I frowned and went to the arena with the other players.
As we entered, fear began to take hold of me. Where is Gi-hun? Finally my nerves gave way and I called out loudly:
- GI-HUN!
This of course brought all the players' eyes on me. I have never cared about anyone as much as I do for Gi-hun. What is happening to me? Has love blinded me?
I started running forward and not listening to what the guards (soldiers) were saying. I ran between the players until I finally bumped into the player with the number "456". I looked up at him.
- Gi-hun... Jeez.. where have you been? I thought that something bad happened to you!
My attention was drawn to the player with the number "222" because she was smiling ambiguously. Are they making fun of me?
- What's going on?
- We've just wanted to see if you're worried about me - Gi-hun gave me a gentle smile. - And you're obviously worried
- yes! Of course I care for my FRIEND ! - I said in panic.
- Friend? - Gi-hun kept smiling.
- Yeah, you're my friend.. right?
- Oh, yes. I am. You're right.
I gave him a weak smile. I looked towards the guards.
The square soldier began explaining the rules of the next game. I already knew them so I didn't have to pay much attention. I was more interested in staring at the 456. I think he noticed. But so what? I can't stop. I love his face, his hair, his eyes, his nose, his lips... All of him! Ugh.. it's so annoying but I'm madly in love. I've never felt so good with anyone.
- Oh so this game is like this - I was torn from my thoughts by Jung-bae. - Maybe we should pair up?
- yeah that's a good idea -Â replied 288
- If there are 5 people, for example, I will go with you and Jun-hee... and Young-il will go with Gi-hun and we will choose another persons to join us. Okay?
- Brilliant! Let's do this - Dae-ho replied
- mhm.. - I nodded not listening to them at all.
Gi-hun looked worried. He grabbed my wrist. He was obviously very, very stressed. I blushed a little.
- Don't worry, I'll protect you. At any cost.
He seemed to calm down a bit. He let go of my wrist.
3...2....1....
6 people!
Quickly, without panic I indicated to the whole team to go to the room. At the same time I grabbed some random player by the hand and pushed him with us into the room, closed the door, quick action.
- We were supposed to make groups of 2 and 3... - Jung-bae mumbled
- nevermind, you should be grateful that we have survived. - I said, my voice was serious
- he is right - Gi-hun supported me. That was really nice... He is on MY side.
I smiled and blushed slightly, I looked away when suddenly I heard shots. I shivered. Even though it's my job, it took me out of my thoughts, it scared me.. but only the first shot. The next one didn't scared me at all.
But I saw Gi-hun tremble with every shot. He stared through the window at the dead bodies. On the one hand... I like it. On the other hand, I don't.
- Hey.. - I put my hand on his shoulder - It'll be all right...
The door opened. We all left the room. We survived the next few rounds when suddenly a voice from the speaker said "2".
Without thinking, I grabbed Gi-Hun by the hand and ran with him to one of the vacant rooms.
I went in and closed the door, breathing heavily with exhaustion.
- Young-il.. - Gi-hun whispered - are you.. in love with me?
// 2 chapters a day.. I think it's okay ;33//
