Calming

“Let’s go,” Lucas said as he took her hand. “Wait—don’t. I’ll come to you so you don’t have to go back there.”

Layla nodded, but she didn’t let go of his hand. She couldn’t.

“Baby girl, you’ll be okay. Walk that way towards the road and wait for me. I’ll be five minutes tops.” He threaded his fingers through her hair, placing his forehead against hers. “I promise we’ll be all right.”

Layla nodded, watching as Lucas made his way back to his bike, and she hiked down the hill to the roadside. Just as Lucas said, it didn’t take him but a few minutes to come and get her.

They rode back to Layla’s house, Layla holding on to him even tighter than before.

When they pulled into the drive, she still didn’t let him go. They sat on the hog for what seemed to be a lifetime, but Lucas was fine with that. Her touch was what he craved the most.

“Lucas, someone took me there when I was little.”

“I know.”

“I don’t know who it was,” Layla sobbed. “I can only see very little in my mind.”

Lucas listened to her closely. He wanted to figure it out without making her afraid.

“I remember wanting to go stay with Gretchen one night, and my dad said no because it was a school night, so I left…”

“You left?”

Layla took off her helmet and handed it to Lucas.

“I was a silly kid. I wanted to run away because I didn’t get my way.” Layla nodded, recalling the events.

“It started raining, and someone pulled up and told me to get in their truck or car…” She paused, trying to remember. “I don’t know. I don’t even really know what he sounded like, to be honest. He was older—or not. Way older than me. I was just eleven years old, Lucas. I hadn’t even…”

Lucas tensed. This was killing him to hear her tell this story, but he didn’t want her to stop if this was going to heal her.

“I wasn’t even a woman yet…” Layla wiped her eyes. “I was still playing with Barbie dolls. Not that that matters, I suppose. I was so scared.”

Lucas led her to the front porch, and they sat on the swing.

“Can you remember anything else?”

“I just know that he looked like your cousin I think, but I don’t know, Lucas. I can’t go around blaming people.”

Lucas clenched his fists together, ready to get on his bike and go after his cousin anyway, just for the hell of it.

“Did you ever seek help or go to the police?”

“Of course. I even went to the hospital, but there was no evidence against anyone. It’s like a fucking phantom did it to me.

“I can only recall bits and pieces of what happened. I went to therapy, and I feared every man that came around. They didn’t even find any evidence at that damn place.”

They cuddled on the swing for a little while longer until Layla jumped up, startling Lucas.

“What?! What is it?”

“I forgot I have something for you! Come inside!”

She pulled him up from the swing, and they found themselves in Layla’s room again. She was reaching underneath her bed and Lucas couldn’t help but stare at her plump little peach. He wanted her so badly—even more so the last few weeks.

She pulled out items Lucas only vaguely recognized.

“What the hell are those?” he asked, watching her pull out an arsenal of tiny copper-looking bowls adorned with little lotus flower emblems and Buddhas.

“Tibetan singing bowls, silly.” She placed them on her bed, holding the striker in one hand and handing Lucas an extra striker. “I thought you were cultured,” Layla teased.

Lucas held the striker and winced. “I thought I was.”

“Now, I don’t know what religion you are”—he gaped at her because Lucas hadn’t been a religious man in years—“so don’t worry about the Buddhas or anything like that. These bowls and their sounds are used to heal your chakras.”

“My fucking what?”

“Your chakras, Lucas.” Layla picked up one of the bowls and used the striker to produce one of the most beautiful sounds Lucas had ever heard. “Your chakras are out of balance, and these have the potential to heal them.”

“I don’t believe in this bullshit,” Lucas said as Layla handed him a bowl and walked over to the floor at the foot of her bed. “Layla…”

“Come. Now,” Layla demanded.

Lucas—the Tornado, the tank, the womanizer, the bully, the bitter man down the block—didn’t hesitate when Layla beckoned for him. She had him by the balls.

Sitting across from her, he watched as she spun the striker around the bowl, closing her eyes and becoming immersed in the sounds.

Lucas was also taken by how calm she was now—without drink or drugs, or fucking him. He would have liked that last one, but there was no way he could take advantage of her right now.

Not after what she’d been able to recall over the last few days.

Layla was deeply involved in what she was doing, and Lucas couldn’t help but look at her over some silly bowls—even though they did have a wonderful, melodious sound.

“Lucas…” Layla opened one eye and caught him staring.

“Sorry,” Lucas growled.

They messed around with the singing bowls for quite some time, until Layla was the only one who was striking them.

“Thank you, Layla.”

That snapped Layla out of her daze. “Huh?”

“For this.” Lucas gestured around at the bowls. “You didn’t need to go through all of this trouble.”

“It really isn’t any trouble. You need something to calm those nerves of yours.” Layla smiled. “Other than what I know you have in mind.”

“What’s wrong with what I have in mind?”

“I won’t always be around to give that to you.” Layla winked, setting her bowl to the side.

“But you are right now.”

Layla nodded. She wanted him, and it was breaking her apart to know this would end soon.

Moving the other bowls to the side, Layla made herself a path to him and crawled to Lucas.

“Take off your shirt,” she whispered.

“You take it off, baby girl…”

She smiled, lifting his shirt over his head and admiring the muscled man that sat before her.

“Do you want me, Lucas?”

“More than you even know, Little Hippie.”

He lifted himself inches from the floor, losing his pants and boots in an instant as Layla tossed her shirt and bra to the winds.

Lucas pushed her gently to the floor, cradling her with one strong arm and laughing as she struggled to toss off her boots.

“They’re stuck.” She giggled.

Lucas quickly helped her out of her boots and unzipped her jeans, pushing them off, revealing a red lace thong that almost sent him over the edge.

“Do you wear these for me, Layla?”

“Yes…” She moaned as he roamed her body with his large, experienced hands. “We’re both still overdressed.”

He in his boxers and Layla in her thong, Lucas chuckled as he gladly allowed his little hippie to push his boxers off, and he kicked them away. His hard cock needed her—~he~ needed her.

“I’m so wet already. Do you know what you do to me?” she whispered as Lucas’s digits found her core, pushing her panties to the side. They were soaked and plastered to her pussy lips, and it made him happy that she wanted him so badly. “I want you inside of me—I need it.”

“Oh, I’m going to give it to you, baby girl, but I want to go slow.”

“Just get in there then.”

Lucas lined himself up with her dripping core and sank inside of her with one thrust.

“My—my God…” Layla spread her legs wider, which allowed Lucas to go even deeper. “It’s so embarrassing how damn wet I am…” The sounds of Lucas’s dick moving in and out of her made her giggle. “I’m sorry.”

Lucas smiled. He was drowning in her arousal and loving every second, every stroke, every glide inside of her soft petals.

He didn’t want to stop cradling her, but Lucas didn’t put his weight on her little body.

With his knees propped up on the carpet, Lucas was able to hold her and fuck her sweetly and with long, hard strokes, making Layla moan into the crook of his neck.

Her hands gripped his biceps, pulling herself even further into his chest.

“I think about this more than I should.” Layla groaned as Lucas’s cock pushed deeper into her tight channel.

“You?” Lucas chuckled, sweat forming on his brow as he made sure the head of his cock rubbed Layla’s sensitive little clit. “I think my dick has a mind of his own when I’m around you.”

“Too bad I can’t take it with me when you’re gone,” Layla joked, still moaning into him.

Lucas didn’t want to think about that. He wanted to think about the time they had together.

“I feel you closing in on me, baby,” Lucas said, trying to get as deep inside of her as possible without breaking her in two.

“Yes…yes, Lucas!!” Layla’s toes curled as her nails dug into Lucas’s arms, making him pick up the pace, but only slightly. “I’m…”

“I feel you clenching around me. Just let go, baby.”

“C-cumming!” Layla gasped as her orgasm hit, sending her body into ripple after ripple of ecstasy, which then sent Lucas over the edge.

“Yes, Layla! Fuuuuuucckkkk.” Lucas grunted her name like a lover’s chant in Layla’s ear as he filled her core. “Shit…”

“Stay in me…,” Layla whispered as they both came down from their high, sweating and panting profusely. “You are so good.”

Lucas smiled and kissed her forehead before slowly exiting her spent pussy.

Settling himself on the floor next to her, Lucas took her hand in his.

“I’m so calm when I’m in you, Layla. I don’t know what you do to me, but this is what I want, and it scares me.”

He couldn’t stand that he admitted that to her, but Lucas kept his composure the rest of the night as they showered and cooked dinner, settling in to watch a movie.

Layla never brought up anything about what had happened earlier in the day, and neither did Lucas.

They had a peaceful evening and even when they slept, Layla rolled into his arms and she stayed there.

Again, Lucas had another good night’s sleep all because she was in his grasp.

Taking her to school the next day, the two stopped for some coffee and donuts. Lucas told her that he’d be able to pick her up, but that’d he be pretty booked the rest of the week.

“Lucas, you just use those bowls, get some tai chi in, and call me whenever you need to. That’s what I’m here for,” Layla assured him again.

They talked a little while longer, until Gretchen waved from the sidewalk.

“Oh, I have to go! Where’s my phone?” Layla scanned her lap and the seat next to her while Lucas looked but also texted Jefferson for a change in the schedule.

“Here,” Lucas said as his phone rang, handing Layla her phone. “Yes? Jefferson? Yeah, I can come in then. It’s not a problem.”

Layla put her hair in a ponytail and to an outsider—and even Gretchen—the two looked like a couple preparing to start their day.

“Okay!” Lucas said as Layla smiled, both leaning in, kissing each other out of habit and quickly pulling away.

“Lucas…”

Lucas shook his head. “It was nothing. A kiss is a kiss, right? Nothing special.”

Layla smiled. “Right. Nothing special.” Her voice cracked as she headed out of the truck. “Don’t forget to call me if you need me.”

“Have a good day, Little Hippie.”

Lucas waved at Gretchen, who smiled and wrapped her arm around Layla as the two walked to class. He had had to bite his tongue when all he had wanted to say was that he always needed her.

“Foster, what the hell are you doing?” Lucas sped off, angry at himself for the feelings starting to take hold of his black little heart.

“You’ll hurt her, asshole. You’ve got to let her go.”
