**Yami's POV**

All the Captains sat around the meeting table. We've been here a lot since Y/n left. Every time she sends an update we get called in.

It's been kind of annoying, but it's nice to know she's alive.

She has strict orders not to communicate with anyone here in the Kingdom other than Julius, so it's the only way I hear about her.

Five fucking months.

I haven't seen her for five months.

Not to mention we didn't get to talk about anything before she left, so who the fuck knows what's even going on.

Yea, I still love her. I still care. But, who knows how she'll respond when she gets back. I know I've been pretty much acting like I'm single, so that'll be weird to explain.

Especially since she'll probably be leaving the Bulls the minute she gets back.

I knew she was done with me before she even got assigned this mission. Her leaving the hideout, I knew what that meant. I'm a lot of things, but I'm not fucking stupid.

"Thank you for coming," Julius called while entering.

Why the fuck is he always late to everything?

"Y/n sent an important update. It looks like they're preparing an attack. She said it should still be at least a few weeks out."

"An attack? Where?!" Fuegoleon yelled.

"Damn, Fuego. Settle down. I'm sure he was just about to tell us," I said annoyed.

I quickly lit another cigarette. This is going to be a long meeting.

"On the Capital," Julius interjected.

"The Capital? Looks like they're getting straight to the point," Jack cackled, thrilled with the idea of a good fight.

"Please prepare a plan for your squad to get here quickly and efficiently should an attack happen. Thank you," he stood up to leave.

"Wait that's it?" I asked. "Why the hell drag us over here for? Mushroom Head could've just told us that."

"Because I need you all to understand how serious this is. She's quickly risen through their ranks, as expected, and serves directly under the Dark Triad."

"However, she recently had to use her grimoire in a battle and she fears there is distrust rising against her."

"I don't know how accurate the information will be at this point, so we need to be prepared."

Shit... Stay safe, Y/n. Those three are brutal.

"If she's been compromised, shouldn't we bring her home?" Fuegoleon asked the question on all of our minds.

"No. She's grown much more powerful since you have all last seen her. She can handle herself."

He hastily exited the room without another word.

Man, this must be really serious if it's got Julius all worked up like this.

"Hmm, I'm excited to see just what our young Y/n can do now," Nozel smirked.

"Yes, indeed," William added.

That's right... I wonder what kinds of power she has now? Could she really have improved that much over the last few months?

Either way, I can't wait to finally see you, Y/n.

**Y/N POV**

Shit, shit, shit. Not good....

I was flying as quickly as I possibly could to get to the Capital.

Those fuckers attacked early!!! It's only been like a week since I first even found out about it.

I knew my cover was about to be blown, but I couldn't just do nothing. Yes, I'm a spy, but even more so, I'm a Magic Knight... and it is my duty to protect the Kingdom.

As the intercity of the Capital came into view, I saw smoke drifting into the air. Even from this distance, I could hear the screams of innocent people.

I know they're just lousy nobles, but they don't deserve this.

It'd be so much easier to attack some of the outside villages first, so I don't understand why they decided to attack the Capital first. What are they really up to?

I saw monstrous Mud and Stone Beasts destroying various parts of the city, and there were hardly any actual mages in sight.

I flew closer to the ground to see if I could get a glimpse of any Spade mages, but it wasn't until I got close to the Castle and Headquarters that people started appearing.

It looks like the Spade and Clover mages were already deep into battle.

Shit. Better late than never I guess.

Suddenly, I heard a familiar yell coming from what sounded like just a few meters away.

Asta. I couldn't help but smile to myself.

"If you think you can attack our Kingdom without consequence, you're sorely mistaken!!!" he yelled as I approached from behind him.

He was facing a Dark Disciple, Kaito, and his squad, and Asta was joined by quite a few other familiar faces as well.

I guess I'll drop in.

I got a little lower before jumping off my broom. I landed between Asta and Kaito in a crouched position.

As I stood tall I wielded my Blood Sword.

"Hey, Kaito. A little far from home, aren't we?" I smiled deviously.

"Y/n. I should've guessed you'd be here. Now move! Before I end you, too."

"I'd love to see you try."

"Y-y/n?!" Asta yelled.

I turned my head to look back at him, "Hey Asta. Long time, no see."

I saw Asta's squad along with Yuno and his squad all standing around, ready to attack.

"Y-you look so different..."

"I knew you were a traitor, Y/n!" Kaito yelled.

"No, you didn't," I snapped back at him. "You're one of the stupidest Disciples of the Spade Kingdom."

I looked back at Asta, "Yea, you like it?"

I knew I looked different, but seeing their faces, I guess I looked a lot different than I realized.

It could've been my imagination but I thought I had at least gotten a little taller, probably added on a bit of muscle and curve.

The hair pieces framing the left side of my face had turned a deep red, leaving a stark contrast between the rest of my white hair.

Plus, my eye color had changed from yellow to a darker gold color...

Both side effects of my new powers. Hmm, I guess I probably did look really different to them.

Suddenly, Kaito launched an attack spell at us while my focus was still on Asta.

A large black panther with red eyes jumped out and swiped through the attack with her claws.

I turned back to Kaito. "That was a cheap shot," I growled as he looked at me in horror.

My new friend had gotten a lot of attention through rumors back in the Spade Kingdom, but few had ever seen her in person. Let alone on the battlefield.

"W-what is that?!" Asta yelled as the panther circled around me, it's tail staying wrapped around my legs.

I walked forward, bringing out my grimoire. As the pages rapidly turned, I called out to Kaito, "If you wish to make it out alive, I suggest you leave now!"

"Blood Magic: Blood Bolt."

Red, lightning shaped rods appeared around me and launched at Kaito's squad members, ending them all on impact.

"And make sure the Dark Lords know who I really am."

"You won't get away with this, Y/n," Kaito hissed.

"Maybe not, but you won't be the one to stop me."

With that, Kaito used his Spatial Magic to disappear, and the rest of the Spade Kingdom troops quickly followed suit until the the Capital was like a ghost town.

They left so soon?.... Shit, did they plan this just to out me as a spy?

I sighed in disappointment as I got lost in thought.

"Whoa, so cool!!" Asta shrieked while grabbing me from behind and twirling me around.

"Oi! Set me down!!"

"Ahh! I can't believe you're finally home!"

The panther let out a loud growl and Asta quickly dropped me and hid behind Yuno.

I patted her head softly, as she stood by my side, slightly in front of me.

"Seriously, what is that thing?!" Asta cried

I smiled, "This is Lunelle. Don't worry, she won't hurt you."

Lunelle let out another loud roar.

"A-are you sure about that?" he whimpered.

I laughed, "Yes, I'm sure! Lunelle, be nice. These are all friends."

She began to purr softly as I touched her head.

"It's good to see you, Y/n," Yuno said as Asta stopped hiding behind him.

"Hi, Yuno," I smiled at him. "It's so good to see all of you! Sorry I was late." I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly.

"Wait, yea, why'd they disappear when you showed up?" Asta asked. "Is it because they're so afraid of you!? Did you become that powerful!?"

Noelle huffed and crossed her arms, annoyed by Asta's recognition of me.

"No, that's definitely not it... But I've actually be wondering that myself."

"It does seem as though your power has grown immensely," Yuno noted.

"We should get you back to headquarters immediately. They'll want to know you're back," Klaus announced.

"You're right," I said. "Let's head out."

Lunelle walked closely beside me as we left towards headquarters.

"So, is that thing like always with you?" Asta asked.

"Her name is Lunelle."

"Uh, right... Is Lunelle like always with you?"

"No, not always. Mostly when she senses danger or when she senses uneasiness within me. However, we've become quite good friends, so she's around more now."

I patted her head happily.

"Where'd you get her!?" Mimosa interjected.

I chuckled, "I think that's a story for another time... When we're on a longer walk. But I didn't get her anywhere. She's kind of like Yuno's wind spirit."

"Whoa cool!! For Blood Magic?!" Asta yelled, and I saw Yuno look over with curious eyes.

"No, not for Blood Magic," I smiled. "Like I said, a story for another time."

"Why does it have red eyes?" Noelle snarked. "It's kind of creepy."

"Not it— she," I corrected. "And I love her eyes."

Lunelle purred softly at my comment, nuzzling my leg slightly.

"Wow. You guys seem pretty close."

It finally hit me that I was really home. I don't know what took me so long, but the emotions started overflowing.

"Asta!!" I yelled stopping suddenly and threw my arms around him. "I missed you so much!!!!" Tears started forming in my eyes.

"Y/n!!! This is the kind of welcome I was hoping for!" he yelled while spinning me around once and holding my tightly.

"I'm sorry," I pulled away wiping my tears. "It finally hit me that I'm actually home. That I finally get to see you all again."

I made my rounds and gave each of them a hug.

Klaus was the last one I hugged, and he started to blush profusely. He quickly pulled away.

"Hurry up now. We must get you to Headquarters," he stammered.

"Right!" I called, feeling my heart fill up with joy as I watched my friends walk in front of me. I hope I never have to leave the kingdom again...

**Ok, so here's a picture of our new friend, Lunelle.

She's a bad bitch**
