Chapter 16: Live With Jk & Jhope

It had been a week since Jungkook uploaded his video edit of the underwater scenery that he took on his underwater expeditions with Y/N. It was also a week since his hyungs had seen the picture of Y/N on his phone and his hyungs had kept a close watch on him, even going to the trouble of accompanying him everywhere he went. He hadn't seen Y/N for a week as he never had an open opportunity to slip away without his hyungs noticing or getting suspicious. He missed seeing her a lot and he wondered if she missed him or wondered why he wasn't coming down to the beach. He only hoped that she hadn't given up and that the next time he went to go see her, whenever that would be, that she would still be waiting for him.

He knew that his hyungs were curious about Y/N and his constant attempt to avoid answering their questions had only left them with more questions and suspicions.

The situation seemed vaguely similar to when Y/N kept on avoiding his questions about her and her past, but eventually she told him. He felt a slight worry that the same thing would happen with him, that he would eventually end up telling his hyungs about Y/N and that was something that just couldn't happen.

It wasn't that he didn't want to tell them because he did and even though Namjoon had told him that he could trust his hyungs not to say anything to anyone, he feared that Y/N's discovery could be even more dangerous the more people that knew about her.

He sighed as he looked up at the camera, realizing just then that he was in the middle of doing a live and he had been staring off into space for a good 10 minutes. He had been engrossed in his thoughts that he had completely forgotten that he was live and that millions of fans were watching him just sit there, saying nothing.

"Ahem! Anyways, sorry, I was getting lost in my thoughts there," he apologized as he cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. He ruffled his messy, long hair before trying to flatten it down.

"Ah~, my hair is not flattening!" He let out a huff as he looked at the comment section. He stifled a laugh when he read one comment saying that his hair could be sticking up in the air and he would still look handsome. He went silent as he tried to remember what he was talking about before he had gone off in his thoughts, but he couldn't remember.

"What was I talking about again?" He peered at the comment section and nodded.

"Oh right, my video edit. I've been looking at all of your comments on the video and I just want to thank you all for all of the positive comments. I really appreciate it. I worked really hard on it, so I'm glad that my hard work paid off," he gave a grateful smile and a small nod as he looked at the other comments, "I was really lucky in filming all of it, I caught so many cool things on film and-!" As he began to reminisce, he was interrupted by a knock on the door of his studio. He turned around and noticed someone waving on the other side of the door.

"Jungkook? Are you live?" The sound of Hoseok's voice asked curiously from the other side of the door as more knocking followed right afterwards.

"It's Hope hyung," Jungkook stated with a small sigh as he stood up and walked over to the door of his studio. He didn't open it though. He just stood there with his hand hovering over the door knob.

"Hey! Jungkook! I can see you!" Hoseok exclaimed in a slightly annoyed tone, making Jungkook chuckle in amusement. He unlocked the door, but held onto the doorknob tightly. His hyung grabbed onto the door knob and tried to turn it, but because he was holding onto it from the inside, the door knob didn't budge. "Jungkook, your door knob is stuck."

"Yeah, sorry hyung. Guess you can't join the live," Jungkook answered with a small, mischievous grin as he stood there with one hand on the door knob and the other on his hip. He looked over at his camera and he could see that he was still in view. No doubt the fans were all watching him messing with his hyung.

"Can you try from your side? Maybe it'll unstick from your side," his hyung insisted as he stopped wiggling the doorknob. Jungkook sighed a bit. He figured that his hyung would give up by now, but it seemed that his hyung really wanted to join the live, so he reluctantly turned the door knob and opened the door. He came face to face with his hyung would had a relieved look on his face. "Whoo, finally!" Hoseok walked in and walked towards the camera plopping himself down in a chair.

"Yes hyung, by all means, make yourself at home," Jungkook stated sarcastically as he clicked his tongue before closing his studio door and coming back over to the camera.

"Oh sorry Jungkook, why didn't you just say that you wanted to be alone? I would have left you alone," Hoseok mentioned with an apologetic look as he went to stand up, but the younger one stopped him.

"It's fine. I probably won't be on for much longer anyways," Jungkook replied with a shrug and a small sigh as he turned to the camera, "By the way, the doorknob wasn't jammed. I was just holding onto it, so that you couldn't come in."

"Wha-?! Jeon Jungkook!" Hoseok exclaimed in annoyance as he sent the younger one a disapproving look. Meanwhile, Jungkook did his best to hide his mischievous grin. "Sigh, well, whatever. So, everyone, I assume all of you saw the maknae's video edit and loved it."

"Yeah, they all saw it and they all liked it. I mean, why wouldn't they? I'm a pro at video editing now," Jungkook said proudly and confidently, earning a small scoff from his hyung.

"Huh... thinking a little too highly of yourself now, aren't you?" Hoseok asked raising an eyebrow at the younger one.

"No I'm not hyung, you saw my video edit and saw just how cool and amazing it is," Jungkook stated with a smug look on his face. Hoseok let out a sigh and rolled his eyes.

"Haven't you ever heard of modesty? Because you seriously need some right now," he retorted as he shook his head disapproving. The younger one simply stuck his tongue out at his hyung before swirling around in his wheeling chair. Hoseok sighed again as he looked at the camera. "Our maknae is still learning modesty it seems."

"Hey hyung! This is my live and you came and invaded! Stop telling them lies!" Jungkook protested as he slapped his hyung's shoulder roughly, earning a loud shriek from his hyung who was surprised by the sudden impact on his shoulder. This made the younger one stifle a laugh of amusement.

"Aish this maknae is always hurting and being disrespectful to his hyungs," Hoseok grumbled with a click his tongue as he rubbed his shoulder lightly. It was quiet for a moment as they both stared at the camera before Hoseok glanced over at Jungkook. The younger one noticed his hyung's stare and glanced at him as well.

"What?" He asked, eyeing his hyung back curiously.

"So about this Y/N-," Hoseok began to say, but he was immediately cut off by Jungkook, who sent him a small glare.

"I'm not going to talk about her, so don't even start," Jungkook said all at once, cutting off his hyung. His hyung didn't seem surprised by his answer and decided not to push on the subject, but then noticed that in the comment section that there were comments asking who Y/N was. He glanced at the younger one with a slightly concerned expression. The younger one noticed his hyung looking concerned at him and looked to where he was looking. He read through some of the comments and bit his lip nervously seeing some of the comments asking who Y/N was.

"Sorry, I probably shouldn't have brought it up," Hoseok apologized with a sincere expression. Jungkook let out a sigh, letting it go considering how apologetic his hyung looked, so he didn't bother to get annoyed at him. He sat there staring at his desk, debating with himself on how he was going to dismiss the commenters and questions about Y/N calmly and smoothly without the result of more questions or suspicions occurring. Once he was done coming up with a plan in his head, he looked at the camera with a small smile.

"Don't worry about it everyone. Just a fan I met at the beach, nobody special," he voiced with an uneasy feeling in the back of his mind, but did his best to not show it. His reassurance made most of the commenters relieved while some didn't seem to believe him, but didn't push on the subject any longer. "Um... anyways, we're going to start working on some new music, so please look forward to that."

"Ah yes, new album which will be coming out I think in 2 months," Hoseok added with a wide smile, "We're going to work real hard on it, so please listen to it and love it." Comments filled in, saying that of course they would listen to the new album and love it, making both members smile. Jungkook was relieved that he managed to avoid talking about Y/N, especially in front of his fans, who were more than a few million.

"I'm hoping to put out a mixtape soon too," Jungkook commented with a grin.

"The maknae's first mixtape should be interesting," Hoseok mentioned as he wiggled his eyebrows at the younger one, who did the same back, "But no sneak peeks... unless the maknae wants to put a clip to excite you all more."

"I might, but I also want it to be a surprise, so probably not," Jungkook responded with a shrug as he let out a sigh. Just then his stomach growled making his hyung chuckle. "Heh, I guess I'm hungry."

"Have you eaten yet all today?" Hoseok asked slightly worried as he glanced at the younger one. The younger one shook his head slightly. "Aish, Jungkook, you have to eat something. I know you're on a diet right now, but it's not good to skip meals. Plus, our schedule is pretty rigorous too, so you need energy."

"I know hyung. I just forgot. I wanted to do the live," Jungkook argued with a small sigh, "I'll eat after I end the live, which will literally be right now. I just want to say a few things first before ending it." His hyung nodded in understanding as they both turned to the camera and smiled. "I know 2 months may seem like a long time, but you all knowing us, we'll possibly put out spoilers because we love you all dearly. Don't worry though. 2 months will go by quickly."

"Oh! And we'll probably do a BTS Run Episode soon as well, so look forward to that," Hoseok added as well as an excited smile. Jungkook's eyes widened in realization before smiling excitedly as well. "We still haven't decided though what we're going to do, but whatever it is I'm sure it will be fun to do and fun to watch for all of you."

"Yeah and lots more fun things are to come as well, so we assure you that you won't be bored while waiting for the new album to come out," Jungkook answered with a thumbs up, "Unfortunately, right now I need to end the live so I can go have something to eat. I hope you all enjoyed watching."

"We purple you ARMY!" Both said at the same time as they showed their finger hearts to the camera before waving goodbye. Jungkook then ended the live and turned off the camera. He sighed as he glanced at his hyung.

"Well, time for some food," he announced as he stood up from his chair and left his studio with his hyung following close after him. As they walked down the hallway, they started nudging at each other's sides playfully until they were fully poking at each other's sides while giggling in amusement. Approaching the kitchen, they continued poking at each other's sides and giggles, not even noticing Namjoon walking towards them.

"What are you two goofballs up to now?" Namjoon asked curiously with a raised eyebrow as he walked towards them slowly. Drink in one hand and phone in the other hand, he watched the two members with a slightly confused expression.

"At this point, who the heck knows with those two," Yoongi commented with a sigh of exasperation and rolling his eyes. He pushed past Namjoon, who had been standing in the middle of the hallway and took a side glance at Hoseok and Jungkook before walking past them as well. "Weirdos." That was the last thing that could be heard before he walked into his room and shut his door. Hoseok and Jungkook didn't even seem to notice Yoongi go by or the fact that Namjoon was standing there watching them. They continued to poke at each other and giggling way to the point where the others had joined Namjoon in watching.

"What are they doing?" Seokjin asked curiously as he shoved some food in his mouth.

"Looks like a poking war," Jimin stated with a small chuckle as he approached Jungkook and Hoseok cautiously before reaching out and poking both of their sides teasingly. This made both stop and glance at him. When they noticed the others all standing there, they looked at them bewildered, wondering when they showed up and how long they had been watching them poking at each other.

"Oh hey hyungs," Jungkook greeted the others with a slightly perplexed expression before shrugging it off and placing his hand on his belly, "Oh right, I forgot that I wanted to eat food."

"I guess we were so preoccupied with poking each other, haha," Hoseok stated with a chuckle as he patted Jungkook on the shoulder. The younger one smiled back before looking at the others who smiled at him.

"Alright, well, no time to waste! Let's get our maknae some delicious food!" Seokjin exclaimed enthusiastically as he slung his arm around Jungkook's shoulders and squeezed him tightly.

"Ow! Hyung, that hurts!" The younger one exclaimed with a groan of pain as he shoved his hyung away. The oldest of the group clicked his tongue and sent the younger one a playful glare.

"Hey Jungkook! Clearly it seems you don't want me to cook for you!" Seokjin bellowed in anger as he flared his nostrils and clenched his mouth and jaw together all the while sending the younger one playful glare before turning around. When he heard this, the younger one's eyes widened in alarm.

"Aish I'm sorry hyung!" Jungkook apologized profusely as he wrapped his arms around his hyung, hugging him close and not letting go.

"Jungkook, let me go right now," Seokjin complained as he tried to walk forward while pulling along a heavy maknae with him.

"No! I won't let go until you promise that you'll make me food!" Jungkook refused as he shook his head and held on tighter to his hyung. The others watched the eldest pulling both himself and the youngest towards the kitchen in amusement. It wasn't a long ways to the kitchen, but having to drag a heavy maknae along for the ride made it seem like a long ways. The eldest was heaving and groaning heavily. Just before he reached the kitchen, he let out a loud groan.

"Fine!! I'll make you food!" Seokjin yelled in annoyance, "Now let me go!" Smiling victoriously, Jungkook unwrapped his arms from his hyung just as his hyung turned around giving him a glare. He simply grinned back. "You're a pain in the butt."

"I know," Jungkook replied with a giggle as he sat at the counter top table and took his phone out, waiting for his hyung to start making him food. Jimin and Taehyung sat next to Jungkook at the counter top table as well while Namjoon and Hoseok started heading back down the hallway.

"Hey! Don't leave me with these 3! All chaos breaks loose whenever I'm with these 3!" Seokjin hollered to the departing members. Namjoon and Hoseok peeked around the corner and looked at the eldest.

"You'll be fine hyung and besides, they're goofy just like you," Hoseok stated with a shrug.

"So are you! At least one of you keep me company!" Seokjin insisted as he crossed his arms over his chest. Namjoon and Hoseok glanced at each other before looking back at the eldest then rushing down the hallway quickly. "Hey! Aish! Whatever!" Seokjin huffed as he turned back to the kitchen and started cooking some food. Meanwhile, the maknae line remained sitting at the counter top playing on their phones. "Hey you three! Make yourselves useful! One of you pick out something to watch and other two help me with the cooking!"

"I'll pick out a movie hyung," Jungkook volunteered as he stood up and walked towards the living room. Jimin and Taehyung groaned a bit at having to help their hyung cook food, but reluctantly they stood up and started helping him. Jungkook grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. He switched through the channels and pouted not finding anything interesting to watch. As he did, he glanced towards the window. He could see the mixture of blue and white waves crashing against the beach. A certain sadness took over him. The playing around with his hyungs had taken his mind off of Y/N for a bit, but now staring at the deep blue water in the distance was inviting him. "You're still waiting for me, aren't you Y/N?"

"What was that Jungkook?" Taehyung asked curiously as he walked into the living room and peered at the younger one.

"Huh? Oh, nothing hyung," Jungkook responded with an nervous smile. He sat down on the couch next to his hyung. "I couldn't find anything to watch."

"Tch, that's probably just because you didn't look hard enough," Taehyung said with a small scoff.

"Hyung, I looked through every channel," Jungkook argued with a small sigh.

"Hm.., fine then Netflix it is," Taehyung replied with a shrug as he turned on the Netflix app and started scrolling through movies. As he did, Jungkook glanced back at the window. He thought he small gleam in the distance, but it came and went in the blink of an eye. He sighed a bit he pulled the necklace with Y/N's scale in it out from his shirt and held it in his hand. Despite it not being dark out, it still shimmered a bright purple in his hand and it gave him some hope that perhaps Y/N was still waiting out there for him to come visit her. He smiled softly before placing the necklace back into his shirt and looking at the tv.

So, here is another chapter! I hope you all liked it!

I am once again so sorry for the super late update! Ahhh, I feel really bad, but I managed to update, so hopefully you all aren't too upset.

This was kind of a filler chapter. I know you're probably wondering, "why did it take so long just to write a filler chapter". Well, I find filler chapters harder to write just because I have no ideas when it comes to filler chapters, so I end up sitting there staring at my screen and thinking what should I write, lolz. The next few chapters should be more interesting though.
