THE BEGINNING Chapter 3

We quickly went to one of the cafes in the airport and ordered breakfast. I got a cheese bagel with cream cheese and a hot chocolate; Susan got a cheese bagel with cream cheese but ordered an espresso instead. Just as we finished eating, a message came on the P.A system that informed the airport that the gate G9 is now open and are boarding passengers. I look back at Susan to see her getting up and grabbing her suitcase. She then looks at me and asks, " aren't you coming, or am I going to South Korea by myself?". That's when it clicked. The gate for our flight is G9. We quickly made a run to our Gate. Within 20 minutes our tickets were scanned, we were guided to the plane and to our seats, and then we sat there waiting for the plane to take off. For the first six hours of the flight I watched the movies the conjuring, the Nun, and Scooby Doo. We were also given lunch and dinner along with some drinks and snacks.

After a while I turned off my screen and looked at the blackness of the sky and the lights of a random city below. Slowly my eyelids started to droop and the area surrounding me started to become black. The last thing I remember seeing is the lights of a city under us before the whole world  turned black. I was woken up by a slap on my head. I open my eyes to be blinded by light. We finally reached Korea, we booked a straight flight from Canada to Korea. When we finally got off the plane the first thing we did was stretch our joints, we were sitting for so long. After that all the passengers were taken through the body scanner where our bodies and luggage were scanned and our tickets and passports were checked. Finally we made it to the place where we could collect the luggage we sent off.
