THE BEGINNING Chapter 20

While waiting outside I received a call from an unknown number. I was unsure whether to answer it or not. Ahhh, who am I kidding, obviously I answered it. I cautiously said "hello". "I MISS YOU SO MUCHHH" said the voice on the other line. I suddenly knew who it was. I would be able to recognize that voice anywhere. "KRUTI!" I yelled back. She's my best friend I met in highschool, never left her since. We attend different Universities but still talk often. She goes to McMaster University while I attend Korea University. For the next five minutes I told her everything that happened involving Jungkook. Eventually I finished ranting, I waited in anticipation to hear what Kruti was gonna say about all of this. Then finally kruti spoke, "Damn, I only have one question". "What" I quickly responded. After a moment of silence kruti spoke up again. "This is a serious question and I need you to answer it honestly". My God this Girl, I quickly said,"ya ya, i'll answer honestly. What's the question". Kruti spoke up again, " Is...he...cute". I swear i'm gonna kill this girl the next time I see her. "NO , he's not cute," I said. "Damn namit" she replied. That's when I spotted Jungkook and Seojun walking down the hall. I quickly told Kruti I have to go. When I was about to cut the call she started whining and asking why. I quickly told her that Jungkook and Seojun are walking in my direction. I was about to cut the call again when kruti piped up again. "Wait, don't cut the call yet. Switch the call to a facetime and flip the camera so I can see how he looks". "Ughhh, fineee" I responded. I switched the call to Facetime and flipped my camera to face Jungkook who's much closer now. They were getting closer and closer and I knew Jungkook saw me cause he started grinning. I quietly asked kruti, "did you see enough of him yet kruti...kruti" there was a long pause so I assumed that I might have accidentally muted the volume. I increased the volume all the way. At this point Jungkook and Seojun were about 2 meters away from me. That's when I saw Jungkook whisper something into Seojuns ear. I saw him smile while playfully nudging Jungkook and turn down the corner to the exit. Seojun screamed out "See you at home Jungkook". With that he disappeared out the door. Jungkook then started walking towards me. Within a few seconds Jungkook was standing in front of me towering over me. That's when I remembered I was still on Facetime with Kruti. I quickly asked again. "Kruti...you there" with that she started Screaming, "HOLY SHIT, JUNGKOOK IS SO FUCKING HOT. YOU SAID HE WAS UGLY". My face turned bright red while panicking to lower the volume. I immediately turn the camera to face me. "Why are you so red Nicole" Kruti asked. I was about to reply when Jungkook grabbed my phone out of my hands and said "hi" to kruti and started laughing. I could tell that she realized she messed up big time. Before I could say anything kruti quickly replied saying. "I'm gonna go now. I have to go say Goodbye to everyone I know before I get murdered by Nicole". With that she ended the call. I slowly turn to face Jungkook who's still laughing. I started stuttering trying to come up with a good excuse, but I guess that wasn't working.
