THE BEGINNING Chapter 2

Behind me I see my mom locking the door and wishing me a good flight. She also takes the time to remind me that if I don't get good marks in all my classes she will murder me. I know what you're probably thinking, " wait, she's going to kill you". No, she's not going to actually murder me, thats my moms nicer way of saying " if you dont get good marks you will be doomed forever. You will enter a fiery pit and stay there forever till you rot and become a ghost. Then your spirit will also be contained in this endless pit forever." when translated from parents to kids it means, "get bad marks and you will be grounded for maybe a week or so." When I finally reached her house, Susan and her mom were waiting on the porch of her house. Within Few minutes the taxi came to pick us up to take us to the airport. Eventually, we calmed down and got settled into our seats. We squealed with excitement, we were both happy, me and her have been good friends since childhood. Our parents were also good friends as well. We went to the same elementary school and high school. Our dream university was Korea university. It's the best in South Korea. It's been our dream university since we met. Susan and I both had the same goal in life. We wanted to become lawyers together in Korea. I was going to specialize as a criminal defence while Susan was specializing in family. After we calmed down we distanced ourself out of reality and focused on the view.

Most of the ride to the airport was a blur of familiar sights speeding past us. We quickly arrived at the airport and unloaded our suitcases from the back trunk of the taxi. We already had a copy of our ticket on our phone so we went straight to the waiting lounge.
