THE BEGINNING Chapter 11

I quickly ran to my second period. I bursted into the classroom right when Mrs Kim called my name out for attendance. I was so lucky I wasn't late. There was an entire row that was empty in the back of the class. I climbed the steps to the back of the class tired from running. When I sat down Mrs Kim continued with the attendance. That's when the door opened, and someone stepped into the room. "Sorry I'm late, I was held up by my first period teacher." Strange, I swear I heard that voice somewhere before. I was texting Susan asking which class she had now. I heard Mrs Kim tell the student to go sit in any free seat available. Right when I got a reply from Susan, a shadow hovered over my seat blocking the light. I look up to see the same charming yet most terrifying smile ever. My mouth was wide open in shock. No wonder that voice seemed familiar, it was Jungkook's. I scanned the room to check if there were any other seats left, there was one all the way at the bottom. I was praying he wouldn't notice the empty seats beside me. I looked up to see if he was still standing in front of me. He wasn't there. I assumed he just went to the front. That's when I realized that someone sat in the seat beside me on the right. With the mindset that making friends drilled into my mind, I turned to the side, stuck out my hand for a handshake and started introducing myself. "Hi, my name is Nico..." my smile disappeared immediately. It's Jungkook again, why do I have such bad luck? Before I could take my hand back he took a hold of it and pulled me closer. "Hi," he said with a cunning smile. That's when I realized that he was still pulling me closer. The space between us was disappearing each second. In panic I stepped on his leg to let go of me. He ounces in pain and let go of my hand. I looked at Jungkook and he was still in pain. I quickly called out to Mrs Kim In the front of the class. "Mrs Kim, can I change my seat." She immediately said, you can't change your seats now. These are your permanent seats." I look at Jungkook, who is smiling like he just won the lottery.
