Prologue

For centuries, whispers have drifted through the sacred mountains of Baguio-stories of two figures, Luna and Tala. Some say they are protectors, others fear their unsettling power. Their presence is felt in the mist and heard in the wind, with their laughter echoing through the trees. Seen only in fleeting glimpses, they appear as radiant figures, both guardians and judges of the land. Locals speak of their ancient power, unchanging through time, adapting to the modern world without ever revealing their true purpose. Yet, to seek them is to risk being tested-by their gaze, by their silence. The legend endures, growing with every passing year, but the truth of Luna and Tala remains a mystery, waiting for those daring enough to uncover it.

AN: This short story idea is something that has been circulating in my head for awhile, so I'm just gonna write this just for the fun of it.
