Chapter 592 Hate Him
Then he put down the phone and looked at her with indifference. He
also got up from his chair and walked around the desk to the sofa and
sat down.
He said unhurriedly, "Does Austin know that you came here today?"
"Of course he doesn't know, it's not his business but ours.â
"He is your husband, and you are now Mrs. Norman."
"Ayan, just say the word and I can divorce him immediately.â
She seemed to have made up her mind that as long as Ayan nodded,
she could come to him regardless.
But Ayan's attitude from the beginning to the end was cold and distant,
which made Cora more and more anxious. Then, standing in front of
him with a little emotion, she said, "Ayan, don't you want to?"
Ayan hooked his lips in a smile, the emotion on his face indifferent: "I
have no intention of disrupting what things are now."
"So you don't want to stay with me, do you?"
The expression on Cora's face darkened. She gritted her teeth. Before
she came here, she had made up her mind that she would not stop
until she got what she wanted.
As soon as her eyes narrowed, she could not bear the emotion of the
moment and pulled open the coat directly, revealing the inner part of
the white shirt. She even pulled off the button of the shirt regardless of
anything, exposing her white skin and collarbone.
Without waiting for Ayan to react, she had already raised her hand to
wipe the lipstick on her mouth.
She stared at Ayan and threatened, "Ayan, what do you think your
employees will think if I walk out of this door like this?"
Her words made Ayan immediately understand her intention as well.
He narrowed his eyes slightly, an indifferent smile flashed under his
eyes, looked at Cora lightly and asked, "So you want to threaten me in
this way?"
Cora did not say anything, but the way she behaved was her answer.
Ayan snorted lightly and sneered, "Simpson Group is my territory. Do
you think my employees will turn to you if you go out like this? Even if
they do have such thoughts in their hearts, do you think they will go
against me for you?"
Cora: "Besides the Simpson Group, there's Hance City. Can you sway
the whole of Hance City?"
"Of course I can't, but are you sure you have to get to this
embarrassing point? Is it a case of not even wanting the last shred of
reputation you have left?"
He glanced at her, the bland tone of his voice not revealing any
emotion, but the kind of unobvious coolness that spilled out of the
bones was impossible to ignore.
She pursed her lips, still holding on to her last hope. She said, "Ayan,
Camille doesn't love you at all. What she loves is your money and
Simpson Group's power. Don't you mind?"
He just smiled: "It doesn't make any difference if she loves my money
or loves me. Me and only me, it is enough.â
He would have liked Camille to love him for his money, at least so she
could have been in love with him and not ignore him as she did now,
desperately trying to clear all ties with him.
But he did not have to explain clearly to an outsider, and he did not
want anyone to know about his relationship with Camille.
His words made Cora even more emotional.
Because Cora had always always felt that Ayan still had a trace of old
love for her, after all, they were each other's first love. First love is
something that would never be forgotten, so he was no exception to the
rule.
What's more, didn't he indulge Eileen for so many years for her sake?
All of this is just because of his affection, so Ayan must still have her in
his heart.
Cora couldn't control the urge to get closer to him. "Ayan, what's so
great about her? I can give you what she can give you, and I can give
you what she can't, can't you give me a chance?"
AAyan's face suddenly turned cold as his eyes darted. "Enough!"
But Cora refused to stop.
She had already taken this step. She did not think to stop. Make it or
break it!
Since Ayan felt that her way of threatening him would not be believable,
what if it turned out to be true?
She took off her coat and threw it on the ground. Then she unbuttoned
her shirt and approached Ayan. "Ayan," she said, "Can I stay with you?"
She made some deliberate noises that echoed through the office.
She hooked her lips and went to sit next to Ayan, raising her hand to
climb on his shoulder, but the second before her hand fell Ayan had
already gotten up and left the couch.
He pulled away from her, his voice cold: "Do you know what you're
doing now? Aren't you afraid Austin will see you?"
âI am not afraid, as long as you want me, I am not afraid of anything."
All She was thinking was Ayan's response. She couldn't see why she
was making so much noise inside without anyone bothering her.
Normally, Kian would have knocked on the door and asked Ayan about
the situation, but there was no movement at the moment. Or was there
no one outside at all?
Cora was only thinking about her purpose here and subconsciously
ignored it.
Her aggressive attitude made Ayan even more indifferent, and she
began to recall those sweet memories and images of the past to
herself.
She hated the Simpson family, old Simpson, Fletcher and Talia, for
stopping them from getting together, but in order to renew her
relationship with Ayan, she could only desperately overcome it.
She said much, much more, and even made a concession: "Ayan, as
long as you are willing to stay with me, even if you don't want to
divorce, I am willing to be the silent little woman behind you, OK?"
Her voice sounded so humble that one could not help but think that she
probably loved Ayan so much that she was willing to make so many
concessions.
Ayan didn't say anything, just stared at her expressionlessly. There was
a desk between them, but it didn't stop Cora from continuing.
She said, "Ayan, do you know why I would marry Austin?"
At the same time, several people sitting in the conference room waiting
for Ayan to discuss the design were watching Austin.
Five minutes ago, the big screen in the conference room was suddenly
turned on for some reason, and the scene that appeared inside was
Ayan's office.
Because everyone here had been to his office, they recognized the
layout at first glance when they saw it displayed on the screen.
Just when everyone was not sure what to do, they saw Ayan went to
the sofa and sat down, followed by the sound of a conversation
between a man and a woman.
Everything that happened in the office was seen and heard by the few
people in the conference room.
Each face had a different expression, shock, and disbelief, but also
harsh hostility.
Everyone looked at each other and the atmosphere was very solemn.
Cora's voice rang out again the next moment. She said, "Ayan, I didn't
marry him voluntarily at all. I don't love him, not at all. If you promise to
stay with me, I will leave him right away, OK?"
âThis is your business, and I have no interest in it, Manager Hayes, but
pay attention to the proportion of things that should not be said.â The
look on Ayan's face was always cold as ice without temperature, and
his words made Cora more impulsive.
She still felt that Ayan was worried about her marriage, so she wanted
to show sincerity and express what she thought, regardless of anything
else.
She said, "He was the one who calculated me, he threatened me and
used coercion to make me compromise. Ayan, I hate him, I hate him for
cutting off all my paths, otherwise I would still be single now. I could
have enough strength to stand by your side and accompany you. Ayan,
give me another chance!"
