Chapter 576 Questions

Ayan gave her an emotionless look, "Do you need me to buy you a

dictionary?"

Sophia grunted: "You two are on the same page because of your

partnership!"

Dan grinned softly, then his eyes went to Ayan and started the

conversation, "Master Simpson, I just saw Master Norman eating here

too."

“The food here tasted good, and it's normal for it to be popular.”

Ayan's face seemed without much emotion, showing not the slightest

surprise and curiosity.

Dan nodded and said in a light voice, "Yes, but Master Norman looked

a bit rushed, and a bodyguard was specially arranged to guard the

entrance, so it was hard not to notice."

Dan simply wanted to remind Ayan that Austin had repeatedly bothered

Camille because of the apology, especially since Austin was the kind of

person who wouldn't stop until he got what he wanted, so he wanted to

tell Ayan this so Ayan would plan something.

Ayan did not respond, but his bland face betrayed an unfathomable

distance.

He narrowed his eyes slightly and picked up the glass of water in front

of him and took a sip of it.

The conversation between the two left Sophia at sea. "What are you

talking about?"

"Business secrets, don't pry too much." Dan put an end to Sophia's

curiosity and changed the subject to other things.

Soon the waiter came in with the dishes.

Everyone was also silent during the meal out of courtesy.

It lasted until Sophia went out to pay the bill, and Dan picked up the

conversation, "Master Simpson really doesn't have any ideas?"

"What did Master Tucker want to say?" Ayan picked up a wet wipe and

cleaned his bony fingers, then slowly set the wipe aside as he raised

his eyes slightly to stare at Dan with an extremely light expression.

Dan seemed to have gotten used to Ayan's attitude, so he said

insusceptibly, “Is Master Simpson a little hostile to me? Are you

misunderstanding something?"

Ayan did not speak.

That was an unspoken admittance, wasn't it?

At least that was what Dan thought.

He said, "Master Simpson, Camille and I are just friends. Because of

the Tang family, I have very few friends, so I cherish friends like Camille

who get along without pressure or calculation, and I also hope Master

Simpson can understand.”

Ayan's eyes narrowed slightly, and he didn't know if he believed it or

not.

Dan saw this and decided to clear his doubts further, saying, "Master

Simpson, you and Camille are actually having problems with your

marriage, aren't you?"

Ayan's eyes darkened, and his handsome face was instantly

surrounded by harshness: "What does Master Tucker mean by that?"

Dan: "Master Simpson knows better than I about the terms of this

project. Sooner or later, you and Camille living apart for too long will

cause suspicion, so it's better to be careful.”

Ayan did not say anything with a cold face, and the door of the private

room was pushed open by Sophia at that moment.

She came in and sensed that the atmosphere was not right, but

pretended not to know and exchanged pleasantries with the two men.

Because Ayan still had a dinner party later, the three of them just sat for

a while and left.

When he came out of the private room, Ayan noticed the private room

Dan mentioned, and there was actually a bouncer standing at the door.

But he did not show any emotion.

Ayan was the first to leave, before Sophia looked at Dan and asked,

"What were you guys talking about?"

"Just random words."

“You think it's my first day knowing him? I saw that he just looked like

he was going to eat you alive. You better not mess with him or I can't

help you.” Sophia and Dan grew up together, and their relationship was

less like siblings and more like friends.

Dan just nodded his head and smiled, "Okay, got it, let's go, I'll take a

walk around with you."

Dan was only speculating about Camille's relationship with Ayan, but

judging from Ayan's reaction just now, there was indeed a problem

between them.

But this had nothing to do with him, he was only able to remind him as

a friend.

But did Ayan think so too?

In the black Mercedes Benz, Ayan leaned against the back seat, his

handsome face as gloomy as if it could be broken ice. He narrowed his

eyes slightly and said indifferently: "Go and find out who Austin had

dinner with today?"

Kian nodded, "Got it."

Ayan stopped talking and closed his eyes and leaned on the seat. It

was hard to tell if he was asleep.

Kian dropped him off at the clubhouse, and once the car stopped, Kian

said, "Master Simpson, Maple Leaves Mansion is ready. Do you think

you should move there later?"

"I'll see.”

Having said that, he had already got out of the car.

Kian immediately checked Austin's itinerary. Austin was in Hance City

mainly for this current charity collaboration, so his appointments were

mainly for it.

Over the past few days, as he waited for Camille to submit her

drawings, he spent most of the time at the hospital with Cora. He also

invited Mr. Bell to dinner, and then went to the bar alone.

He couldn't see the face because of the sunglasses and mask, so he

didn't know who it was.

Kian contacted the person in charge of the restaurant directly, and then

asked for the surveillance videos. He watched a few times, and then

called Ayan.

He said, "Master Simpson, I found out that tonight Austin ws together

with a man and a woman at dinner, but they were wearing sunglasses

and masks, so there is no way to see their faces. And there's no way to

know for sure what their relationship is with Austin”

Ayan came out from the club room after drinking, his face was as cold

as ice, and his cold eyes full of detachment. He was unapproachable

as usual.

He said emotionlessly, "Send me the surveillance video and keep

watching."

"Well, I understand.” Kian immediately sent the surveillance video to

Ayan.

Ayan opened the surveillance video that Kian had sent him. It showed

Kian walking behind the couple from the restaurant lobby to the private

room. It was less than a minute long, so there wasn't much to see.

Ayan's deep eyes narrowed slightly, the expression on his face

remained the same, but the hand holding the phone was still

subconsciously tightened when he saw the the video. But when the

video ended, he had gone back to no movement at all.

He did n't tell Kian what to do, just put the phone away. There was little

expression on his face, and he walked into the private room.

At the same time, Austin, who had only just eaten dinner, walked out of

the restaurant accompanied by the man and woman beside him.

Jeremiah was already waiting in front of the restaurant in a commercial

vehicle, and the three got into the car as soon as they got out.

Austin seemed to be in a good mood as he took the initiative to ask, "Is

the food still to your liking tonight?"

"Good." The man didn't talk much, and his voice was gentle but not

very warm.

The woman beside her was silent and did not say a word.

Austin did not seem to mind this indifference, but continued: "Then I'm

satisfied. I also hope that you can I hope you can take my request to

heart and think of a solution for me."

They did not talk much about business during dinner.

At the moment the dinner had finished, and after sending them back,

they would be separate. So now it was probably the best moment to

talk about something serious.

Austin's words made the man indifferent. He did not rush to speak, his

eyes looking out the window at the neon lights. It was hard to tell what

he was thinking.

Seeing his silence, Austin's face changed slightly and asked again, "I

can't see your sincerity, so how can we work together?"
