Chapter 1269: Solid

Camille felt a bit worried. After all, she had encountered Mario tonight,

and even though they didn't have much interaction, matters of the heart

were unpredictable. Perhaps a single glance could lead to an

argument.

That's why Camille had such thoughts. However, when she got out of

the car, she noticed that both of their expressions seemed calm,

especially Sienna, who waved at her with a smile and said, "Why are

you so slow?"

Camille replied, "He was talking for a while.”

They almost started arguing, but there was no need to tell Sienna.

Ayan also got out of the car, and Rex immediately approached him,

saying, "I want to talk to you."

It was evident that they had something to discuss, and it wasn't

appropriate for them to be present. So Camille suggested, “Let's go

inside and sit for a while.”

Sienna nodded and followed Camille into the house.

As for what the two men talked about outside, they were not concerned

at all.

Because Sienna took the initiative to say, "Rex wants to ask your Ayan

if it's true that Mario is fully in charge of this project.”

Sienna had been holding this question back for Rex all night. If she

didn't get a clear answer, he probably wouldn't be able to sleep all

night.

Sienna sighed helplessly. Still holding hands with Camille, she sat on

the couch and said, "You don't know, on the way back, he asked me

countless times. Every time I answered, he felt it was a lie. This person

seems obsessed. I even suspect he has a secret crush on Mario. While

others avoid mentioning his name, he's afraid I'll forget, making sure I

remember him every moment."

Sienna rubbed her temples. After being asked repeatedly by Rex, her

head was pounding.

Nanny brought them water and handed it to Sienna. Camille wore a

faint smile on her face and said, "He's just Mario, is he worth it?"

“I think so. I don't know what he's comparing himself to."

"If you think about it carefully, his concern isn't unreasonable. He just

wants to clarify things, and it's better to speak up rather than keeping it

all inside, right?"

Camille pursed her lips and lowered her voice. She said, "It seems like

Mario had a few drinks tonight.”

“Let him drink. It has nothing to do with me,” Sienna remained calm.

Hearing her response, Camille also smiled and said, "Exactly. So, let's

not get involved in anything related to him. Otherwise, Rex wouldn't

have participated in this project on behalf of Ayan."

“I think the same. Rex has gone crazy."

"He just cares about you too much.”

“I know," Sienna covered her face with her hands, took a deep breath,

and sounded somewhat despondent. "I don't really want to face

anything related to Mario now. It feels like we've reached this point. Isn't

it already a settled matter? Why is he still insisting?"

Sienna was truly frustrated. If Mario hadn't come to Hance City, she

would have felt genuinely relaxed. But now that he was here,

occasionally appearing in front of her, it felt terrible and extremely

unpleasant.

She looked at Camille and asked, "Could Mario be trying to confront

us?"

"If he wants to confront us, so what? Your relationship with Rex is

stable. Even if there are misunderstandings, they won't destroy your

relationship. It would be best if you had another child. Once you have a

child, Mario will give up, won't he? He can ruin other people's

marriages, but how can he ruin a marriage with a child? If he succeeds,

there will be a child standing between you and Sienna, and that child is

the fruit of your love with Rex. Can he really tolerate that?"

“If he can't tolerate it, will Sienna compromise?"

Of course, it is impossible because women, no matter when or where,

will without hesitation choose their own flesh and blood. If we must

compare, there is undoubtedly no chance of winning. Although a loving

marriage should not be tied to having children, if love can withstand

misunderstandings and destruction the first few times, can it do so

every time?

Camille doesn't think so, so she believes that a marriage with children

will be more solid. Of course, this is just her own opinion. Otherwise,

Sienna wouldn't feel so confused and hesitant because she genuinely

doesn't know if it's the right time for a child to appear now.

Sienna doesn't know what choice to make and feels incredibly

frustrated. After briefly contemplating, Sienna suddenly asked, "If I

really have a child, will he truly stop bothering me?"

"The probability is fifty-fifty. After all, I am not him, so I can't give you a

definite answer on his behalf.”

"Yeah, who can guess his thoughts? Since that's the case, let's give

ourselves a chance. Starting from now, let's set a one-month deadline.

If I don't get pregnant by then, it's probably fate."

Sienna took a deep breath and made up her mind, but she didn't want

Rex to know. After all, intentionally planning and letting nature take its

course are different.

The two men outside finished their conversation, and Ayan also came

inside. But Camille and Sienna hadn't finished their discussion yet. It

was only when Ayan stood in the entrance for a while that Sienna

started feeling a bit uncomfortable. She then said, "Let's stop here for

today. I'll leave now.” She said in a normal voice, but immediately

whispered to Camille, "Your Mr. Simpson probably can't wait to kick me

out, right?"

Camille smiled and got up to see her out. Rex was waiting outside for

her, and the two of them didn't take the car. They walked back to

Camille and Ayan's house.

Camille stood at the door, watching the two of them walk away on foot,

and then turned back and entered the house. Ayan was still waiting in

the entrance, leaning against the wall, his arms crossed in front of his

chest, staring at Camille without blinking.

Camille tilted her head slightly and looked at him. "Why are you staring

at me like that?"

"Why did you talk to Sienna for so long?"

Camille certainly wouldn't tell him. After all, it was Sienna’s business,

and she couldn't say. It wasn't that she didn't trust Ayan, but it had

nothing to do with them, so there was no need to say.

Camille took the initiative to approach Ayan and then gave him a faint

smile. "Why are you so curious? Did Rex bribe you?"

"Am I the kind of person who can be easily bribed?"

“I think you are." Camille couldn't help but laugh. She reached out and

took Ayan's hand away from his chest, intertwining their fingers. She

said, "Don't ask about other people's matters. Anyway, it's not

something bad, right? Oh, by the way, what about you? What did you

talk about with Rex?"

"What else could it be? Besides Mario's matters, why would he come to

me?"
