"I am trying to sleep woman," Nova grumbles and I sniffle.

"Shut up,"

"You shut up,"

"Matthews, shut, up,"

"Both of you shut up!" Manon finally speaks up, "You're going to wake everyone up,"

"Okay, sorry," I whisper.

"Shh,"

"Sorry!"

"I'm going to push you off if you don't shut up," Nova grumbles and I pry my eyes open.

You see, what had happened was me and the gang (Nova, Cole, Manon, Kai, Iris, Harry... I can't believe I'm going to say this- and Rose) stayed up to watch Mean Girls since someone, not saying who hasn't seen it. Like, that's so sad.

Not as sad as my hairline.

Anyways, then we all decided to sleep at Nova's house and I tried warning them that I talk in my sleep. I can't help it!

I've once said a whole sentence while sleeping. Mom said I once walked downstairs, asking for a sandwich.

Speaking of mom, she went to go visit my grandma up in Idaho or something. I don't know, I haven't seen my grandma in years. She's gonna be gone for a few days, and she wants pictures from prom.

Hashtag ew.

I'm just going to wear mom's prom dress, because why not? I'd be saving some moola.

She had to bring August, and I was left alone to my misery. I sat and ate ice cream while crying.

Just kidding. I took Pudge to my house without Nova noticing... don't tell him because I don't want to return the cutest fluffball to exist!

Anyways, I guilt-tripped Nova into thinking I get really bad back pain when I sleep on the floor or couch. So he let me sleep in his bed. Hehehe.

I really don't get any back pain, it's just his bed is so squishy.

"Why would you hit me?" I ask him in a hushed whisper. "Would you seriously hit me?"

"I wouldn't smart one," he replies and pushes his face deeper into his pillow, "Now go to sleep,"

"But the real question is, can I?" I grin and pull the blankets over my head. I hear him sigh heavily and mutter something under his breath.

"Guys, seriously shut up," Rose speaks up and Cole snores loudly.

"I tried telling you guys that I'm not good at sleepovers," I state and feel Nova crawl out of bed.

Arms slip under me and pick me up bridal style. "Help! I'm being... attacked," I say with a loud yawn.

Once a proud sleep lover, always a proud sleep lover.

I'm more of a deep sleeper.

"Shh," Nova shushes me while stepping over the knocked out bodies.

It's like a crime scene.

"Bye Manon, Rose. Those of you still awake and alive. Pray that I don't die, and know that I love you," I say as Nova leaves his room. He closes his door and that's when I realize something.

He could very well kill me. With the door being shut, they wouldn't be able to hear my cries for help!

He must've planned this...

And I must escape!

"What are you doing?" I demand and look up at him. "Are you going to kill me? Because if you do, I will come back and haunt the fuck out of you,"

"Don't cuss at me," he replies and sets me down on the couch. "And I need to ask you-"

I gasp and scoot away from him, "You didn't even deny it! Get away from me!"

"Matthews-"

"I knew it! You wanted to kill me this whole time!" I wail and he sighs. I watch in horror as he gets up from the couch and walks into the kitchen.

Oh no. He's going to kill me. He's going to lop off my head! I'm too old to die now!

I hear clanking in the kitchen which causes me to almost faint.

"Frost," Nova calls, "Close your eyes please,"

"Why? So you can lop off my head and do nasty things to my body? No thanks," I say but close my eyes anyway.

I was born an annoying idiot, and I will die as one.

Shuffling noises are heard and I frown. "Is that a body bag I hear?" I ask and he shushes me.

He clears his throat, "Um, Frost Matthews."

"That's my name,"

"I wanted this to be private, and this is the only chance we'll get to ourselves. You are beautiful and kind, you are annoying and mine."

What the actual fuck. Pardon my language.

"Nova what are you-"

"Shut up and let me finish!" he nervously exclaims, "Anyways. I wanted this to be private between you and me. I hope it isn't too late to ask you. And since you're dating a footballer, so... will you tackle prom with me?"

Oh lordt. My heart...

Wait... the pun! Since when was Nova ever into puns? I am the only punster here! Somethings fishy is going on...

I open my eyes, "Huh?"

I see him standing in front of me with a football and a bouquet of flowers. I look closely and see him shaking slightly. I burst out laughing, "Awe, Nova! You shouldn't have!"

I thought for sure he wasn't going to go, which was fine. He's said before he hates dances so I wasn't going to push him to go.

Heck, Manon even said I could go with her and Cole if I wanted to, which I would have anyway. Do you know how many girls were texting Nova and asking him to be their date?

Yes. I snoop on his phone. It's not like he hasn't snooped on mine before!

His cheeks turn red and he frowns, "Don't laugh at me!" he whines, "I'm nervous okay?!"

"You already know the answer dummy," I say and crawl off the couch, wrapping my arms around him.

"So... is that a yes?"

"Of course. What kind of question is that?"

"I'm sorry I waited so long... I was really scared," he mumbles, "I-I mean, I wasn't scared. I was planning,"

I snort, "Yeah right,"

I let go and look at the football. "And I thought I was punny," I say with a grin but end up frowning.

"Wait... isn't this your football?" I ask and turn it over to see his sloppy handwriting.

"Maybe... maybe not..." he says and shoves the bouquet in my face. "And I swear, if you ruin it I will cut off your luscious long hair," he threatens.

"Gasp, you wouldn't," I say and back up, falling onto the couch.

"Oh, I would Matthews," he says and hands me the bouquet while sitting down.

"They're so pretty," I mumble and sniff them.

"Not as pretty as you," he responds with a smile and kisses my cheek.

"Dude, my heart won't be able to take the cuteness,"

The next two days went by quickly, and I literally wanted to die. I tried convincing Manon to let me wear my Converse to prom tonight, but she went Hulk on me.

So now I'm stuck wearing these disgusting high heels. And then, she kidnapped Nova and took him somewhere because he "was being a wimp and waited too long to get a damn suit, so now they're probably all gone!"

She said other things but they were horrible things. Horrible.

We're at Manon's house, waiting for her to return. Mom called me and kept telling me to take lots of pictures.

"Yes ma, I know," I respond to my mom who is talking my ear off.

"I want all of the pictures young lady!" she exclaims and I chuckle.

"Yes, I know," I say and glance at the clock, "It's time for me to go now, I love you, bye!" I say before hanging up.

"You look so cute!" Iris beams at me and Kai looks at me. "Doesn't she?"

Iris and Kai were matching outfits. Iris' dress is a dark blue color, and Kai's suit coat thingy is a dark blue color as well. Iris' shoes were blue and sparkly.

"Yes, she does," Kai says and I wave them off.

"Puhlease," I wave them off again and look down at the dress. "I hate dresses! And I look too... pink,"

My dress is a baby pink color. It's spaghetti strapped and if I wasn't wearing heels, it would drag on the floor. The dress is silky, but that will never change my view on dresses!

I still hate them.

"Oh quit your whining," Rose suddenly appears, holding a pink corsage. "You look fine,"

Rose had on a dark red, ankle length strapless dress. Her heels were red as well, and honestly, she was slaying the look.

"How did you get in here?" I ask her and she sighs.

"Harry is my date, remember?"

"Oh..."

"Here. It's for you, my mother made it since it was the last minute," she says and hands it to me.

"Thanks?"

She rolls her eyes, "We wouldn't be having this discussion if your boyfriend wasn't being such a wimp and asked you to prom earlier," she states and I narrow my eyes.

"But it is what it is!" she sighs and smiles at me. "I'll be downstairs, Manon and Nova are almost back."

I slightly wave at her and she nods. "Nice dress, by the way," she says before disappearing from the room.

Kai suddenly gasps and looks at me, "Did you hear that?! She complimented your dress! Isn't that awesome!" he giggles and I die a little on the inside.

I grab his cheeks, "Aren't you so adorable!"

(A/N: his face cheeks you dirty bitches LMFAO)

Manon suddenly bursts in, "Okay good, you kept yourself alive,"

"Wait what does that-"

"Oh, my..." she looks me up and down, "You look so beautiful!" she wails and pulls me into a hug.

"So do you, best friend!" I cry and hug her back.

Manon's dress is two piece. The top piece is a silver color with glitter and sparkly stuff. The bottom piece is a really frilly lavender color and reaches her ankles.

She has on minimum makeup, but she still looked gorgeous.

God, I sound like my mom.

"Just wait until Nova sees you," she says while pulling away.

"Are we ready to go down?" Kai asks and I suddenly frown.

"Wait, Chip, aren't you supposed to be down with the boys?" I ask him and he shrugs.

"Rose wasn't going to be up here with you guys... so I am!" he states proudly and I squish his cheeks.

"Okay, are we ready?" Manon asks and I loop our arms.

"I still don't understand why we have to make a dramatic entrance," Iris says while holding Kai's hand. They walk downstairs, me and Manon following not too far behind.

I spot Nova, Cole, and Harry all standing. They all have matching black suits, but their ties are matching our dresses.

Cole has his hand on Nova's shoulder, "Look, you're going to be fine dude," Cole says to Nova. Manon and I stop walking, eavesdropping.

"Well... where do I hold her when we dance?" Nova asks and Cole laughs. "I'm being serious!"

"You hold her by her..." Cole trails off as he sees us. I wiggle my brows at him and he looks back at Nova, "You hold her by the, uh, waist,"

He then whispers something to Nova, and Nova turns around.

"Woah..." he breathes out and I strike a quick pose.

"Yes, I know, I'm slaying your whole existence," I say as we continue walking down the stairs.

Surprisingly, I didn't fall in the heels. If I did, the house would be quaking.

"You... look beautiful..." he whispers and wraps his arms around my waist. I blush and do a double chin.

"Even like this?"

"Yes..." he says and pecks my lips.

"Oh god, my eyes!" Harry cries and I snort.

"You look nice, Frost," Cole compliments and I do the same. "Nova is freaking out because he doesn't know how to dance,"

"Cole, you promised to keep that a secret!" Nova yells at Cole, and Cole just laughs.

"Is someone embarrassed?" I ask Nova while planting a big fat kiss on his cheek. Manon gags and Iris laughs.

"Look, you guys are cute and all, but our ride is here. Let's go," Rose speaks and starts heading out the door with Harry.

"I wonder what crawled up her butt and died," I mutter to Kai, Iris, and Manon. They all laugh and we head outside.

Time to go snatch weaves.

We got back to school and I gagged at the sight of it. I mean, school is out in a few weeks, and I don't ever want to see it again!

We got out and I looped my arm with Nova's. "Ma'am, I have to say, you look handsome," I say to Nova and he glares at me.

"Haha, you're so funny," he responds but I see him smile anyway.

"Correction, you should have said 'You're so annoying'," I correct him and he shakes his head.

"Would you like your picture taken?" a kid asked as we walked up to the school doors.

"Duh. What kind of question is that?" Rose answers and poses. "Come on everybody, smile," she says.

I stand next to Nova and Manon and do a double chin. The flash went off and almost snatched my weave.

"That'll be five dollars," the kid says and Rose pays him.

I would but like, I'm too broke.

The kid hands Rose the photo, and she looks at it. "I think this would-"

"Can I keep it?" Kai blurts, "I don't know if I'll ever see you guys again after summer..."

"I guess so," Rose says and hands it to him. I gasp and hug Kai.

"You'll never leave me!" I wail and he giggles. "You're my Chip. You're the Chip to my dip,"

"He's being dramatic," Iris chuckles, "He's just visiting his dad for the summer," she explains.

"Well, if you leave us, I will go Liam Neeson on you," I threaten and he just giggles.

God, he's so adorable!

"Let's start dancing!" Manon roars and drags Cole onto the dance floor.

Guess I better start praying for him because Manon's moves are bad.

"Shall we?" Nova offers me his hand and I smack it away. "What-"

"A queen needs no king," I joke, strutting out onto the dance floor.

Manon and Cole are dancing together, smiling. Iris and Kai are over at the punch bowl, and Harry and Rose are making out.

I really didn't need to see that. My eyes are scarred now.

I bobbed my head to the beat of the song when I felt arms wrap around me. "Boy didn't I just tell you-"

"Shut up and dance with me," Nova says with a smile. I wrap my arms around his neck and we sway to the music.

"You look beautiful," he comments and I smile.

"And you look handsome," I reply and I see his cheeks turn pink. "Awe is someone blushing!"

"Shut up,"

"Mr. Fishy will come back to life and haunt you for telling me to shut up," I grin and his face falls. "What? What's wrong?"

"I, uh, need to tell you something?" he raises his tone and I eye him suspiciously.

"What is it?"

"You know I love you, right?" he asks and I nod, blushing. "And you know I would've never hurt Mr. Fishy,"

"Yes..."

"I might have... let... Pudge... eat him by accident?"

I stop dancing and look him in the eye.

How dare he! I spent valuable energy trying to win that fish at the carnival! He told me it got fish food poisoning!

And my dumbass fell for it.

"It's okay," I lie and he breathes out.

"Really? I thought you would flip out," he says and I shrug.

"Mr. Fishy is in heaven now," I state and kiss his cheek.

"Hey lovebirds!" Manon yells at us, holding up her phone. "Smile!"

I smile and she takes a photo. "You guys are cute! Now I have to go find my adorable midgets!"

"They're mine!" I roar and Nova laughs. "And mine only," I hiss and a couple of other kids glance at me.

"Frost Matthews," Nova pulls me close to him, "I fucking love you,"

"Language. Don't make me call Steve," I joke and he rolls his eyes.

"You know, being your neighbor isn't as bad anymore," he states and I frown.

"Anymore?"

"Yeah. Your weird noises would keep me up at night," he explains and I laugh. "Now I'm used to it, I guess,"

"Hey Nova," I speak while gazing at him.

"Yeah?"

"I love you too," I say and he stops moving.

"You..." he whispers before smiling widely. I yelp as he lifts me up and spins me around. "Really!?"

"Yes really," I stand straight and place my hand on my chest,"I, Frost Matthews, love the one and only, Nova Hurkins."

"You aren't lying, are you? This isn't a prank, right? You aren't pranking me, are you?" he rushes out.

"Why would I do that?" I ask with a grin.

"We all know you would," he says and kisses me. "I am going to go get you a whole bunch of food,"

"You're the best," I grin.

"Oh, and one more thing Nova," I say before grabbing him by his collar and yanking him down to my face.

"I am going to fuck your shit up for hurting Mr. Fishy,"
