Chapter 33 There Was Still A Way To Deal With Her Although she was kel, Madelyn managed to maintain an air of nonchalance on the surface #Existed âJanessa, donât worry I couldnât care less about what these people say. Theyâre nothing more than keyland warriors, daring only to speak behind the satery of the screens On the internet, theyâre like rabad dogs, ready to attack whoeverâs in trouble But if they enjoy biting so much, why not let them!â
After Madelyn finished speaking, she turned to look at Janessa with a smile. She appeared utterly carefree and untroubled Seeing her laugh so freely, Janessa felt somewhat uncomfortable:
Janessa tentatively asked, âMadelyn, da you trally not cate? Donât try to act tough, okay?â
Madelyn still wore a smile on her face. âOf course, when have Lever licil to you? Besides, if a dog bites me, do you expect me to bite back? I find it rather disgusting, donât you agree?â
Upon hearing these words, the expression on Janessaâs face shifted subtly, reflecting her discomfort. However, she could only respond with a forced laugh. âYes, indeedâ
Then, Janessa quickly changed the subject. âBy the way, Madelyn, are you confident about this thesis writing task? Do you need my help? I still have some leftover materials from the last time I wrote a thesisâ.
Upon hearing this. Madelyn sneered inwardly. Help het Shell probably just make things teorie.
And so, with a gentle laugh, she declined. âThereâs no need, Janessa. Iâll do my best on my own. Besides, I want to prove my innocence with my own strength.â
âBut... Janessa wanted to say something else.
Madelyn, however, interrupted, âThatâs enough, Janessa. I need to review now, Thank you for your kindness, but I can manage.
Donât worry about me.â
Since she had already made it clear, there wasnât much left for Janessa to say. All she could do was nod in agreement. âAll right then, you focus on your revision. I wonât disturb you any further.â
With that, Janessa left the classroom.
At that moment, Felicity was standing at the classroom door. Seeing Janessa emerge, she quickly approached and asked, âWhat did she say?
Feeling helpless, Janessa replied, âShe insists she can manage on her own anil refuse my assistanceâ
âWhat?â Felicity asked with concern, âIs Madelyn really that confident?â
Janessa shrugged. âHow would I know if sheâs confident or not?â
âWhat if she really does manage to write it?â Felicity asked persistently.
Upon hearing these words, Janessa merely chuckled, a hint of ruthlessness flashing in her eyes. âEven if she manages to write it, so what? I still have other ways to deal with her.â
Upon hearing those words, Felicity too, responded with a sly smile.
In the afternoon, while Madelyn was engrossed in her revision, she was summoned by Ruth.
Inside the office, Ruth said to Madelyn solemnly. âMadelyn, for this paper, Professor Fuller and I will be supervising you until you finish. There will be absolutely no chance for you to cheat. So, are you sure you can handle it?â
Upon hearing that, Madelyn pondered for a moment before responding firmly, âYes.â
Ruth was somewhat irritated when she saw her being so confident.
Unable to resist a sarcastic remark, she said, âI hope you wonât disappoint me. Come to the multiâfunction room in the afternoon.
Iâm giving you the whole afternoon. If you canât deliver, youâll have to face the consequences!â

Madelyn felt a comforting warmth. Nodding, she assured, âDonât worry, Yadiel. Iâll do my best.â
This scene fell into Ruthâs eyes, and she was absolutely furious. Immediately, she scolded. âMadelyn, timeâs up! Start writing your thesis immediately!â
Madelyn had no choice but to enter the multiâfunction room.
And so, Madelyn spent the entire afternoon in that secluded classroom and diligently worked on her thesis.
During the process. Yadiel would occasionally gaze at her. Seeing her focused, he couldnât help but smile in reassurance.
Upon witnessing the scene, Ruth felt a pang of annoyance. She deliberately cleared her throat and said, âMadelyn, pay attention Madelyn rolled her eyes in exasperation, silently questioning when she had ever been anything but serious.
It was evening.
The day was almost over. Ruth kept a close eye on the time. As soon as the bell rang, she promptly collected Madelynâs essay.
Madelyn was in the midst of reviewing her thesis when it was whisked away by Ruth swiftly.
Madelyn was helpless, but deep down, she didnât really care.
She had put a lot of effort into writing this thesis, repeatedly pondering over it during the process. After thinking it over, she decided there shouldnât be any major issues, so she heaved a sigh of relief.
Ruth glanced at her with a hint of disdain upon seeing her nonchalant demeanor. âDonât get ahead of yourself. With your mediocre skills, what good can you possibly produce?â
Tucking the thesis under her arm. Ruth said. âBy tomorrow, Iâll have your thesis grade posted on the announcement board for everyone to see. I hope you wonât disappoint.â
Madelyn shrugged indifferently, thinking to herself that she had done her best and completed the thesis.
At that moment, Yadiel stepped forward and asked softly. âYou finally finished writing. How do you feel!â
Madelyn gave a knowing smile and replied truthfully. âI feel... okay. Anyway, I did my best. As for the rest, Iâll leave it up to fate.
âGood, thatâs the right way to think.â Yadiel said, nodding in relief. âYouâve really worked hard, sitting all afternoon without much movement.ââ
Madelyn shook her head, indicating that it was no big deal. âIâm not tired at all. Time flies when Iâm focused on my writing. It must be you whoâs bored, waiting outside for me all this time.â
Yadiel smiled as he changed the subject. âSince weâre both working so hard, how about we have dinner together tonight? Iâve recently found a place that has pretty good food.â
However, Madelyn wasnât in the mood, so she reluctantly shook her head and declined politely. âI canât, Yadiel. I have something to attend to this evening. Iâm sorry.â
Yadiel had no choice but to let her go. âAll right then, you go ahead. Weâll eat together the next time.â
Having said their niece, the two waved goodbye. Then Vadiel watched as Madelyn gradually disanneared into the distance.

Ruth was left standing there. Watching his retreating figure, she seethed with anger.
