Epilogue

6 years later

"Choi Y/N, you look very tired again." Yena noticed as she walked into the police office and saw Y/N almost falling asleep.

"Don't even ask. Nayeon woke me up at freaking 3am because she wanted me to get ice cream for her. I don't get it, how can she have so many cravings?" Y/N sighed. The couple got married about 4 years ago. Y/N was only 21 when they got married. Some people thought that she was too young to get married, but she wanted to start a family as soon as possible. Besides she knew she was going to get married to Nayeon anyways, so why wait longer?

"You know Y/N, you're usually very smart but right now you're being very dumb." Eunbi chuckled.

"Why's that?"

"Isn't it obvious? You're spoiling her, that's why she's being like this. She likes the attention you're giving her."

"Exactly. You're so whipped that even when you're tired you'd do anything for her." Yena added.

"She's pregnant, I have to take care of her. Besides when I complain or say that I won't do it, she starts crying. Her mood swings are abnormal." Y/N shook her head.

"When was the last time you two just had time for yourselves?" Eunbi questioned.

"I don't know. It's been a while." Ever since the two had a child, they've been pretty busy. Yes, they have a child. They have a three year old son named Dowon and Nayeon is pregnant right now meaning that the second one is on it's way.

"Don't you think that's the reason why she's acting like this? It's the only way she can grab your attention since you're working all the time." Yena asked. After Y/N graduated from the police academy she became an officer just like she said she would. Yena and Eunbi joined her in doing that and the three have become pretty good friends.

"You have a point. She wasn't like this the first time she got pregnant." Y/N remembered.

"Let me take this call." Y/N said when her phone rang.

"Yes, Jihyo unnie?"

"Y/N! Come to the hospital now! Nayeon unnie's water broke!" Jihyo yelled startling Y/N.

"W-what? Which hospital??" Y/N stood up.

"The one near your apartment."

"I'm coming!" Y/N wasn't expecting for Nayeon's water to break so soon. The due date is actually in two weeks. Guess the baby can't wait to be born.

"What's going on?" Eunbi worried.

"Nayeon's water broke. I need to go to the hospital. Can you guys take care of my shift?"

"Of course, go go!!" Yena pushed the girl slightly and Y/N ran outside and went to the hospital as fast as she could.

"I'm looking for Im Nayeon. She's going to give birth." Y/N said out of breath to the woman at the lobby of the hospital.

"Room 424."

"Thank you." Y/N ran towards the room.

"Y/N!" Jihyo yelled with Dowon in her arms and Y/N immediately approached them.

"Is she inside?"

"Yeah, you should go in." Jihyo suggested.

"Dowon-ah, stay with your aunt Jihyo yeah?" Y/N patted her son's head and went inside the room. Nayeon was yelling and Y/N could tell she was having a hard time.

"Babe, I'm here." Y/N held her hands.

"Y/N?" By seeing her wife the older woman calmed down a bit.

"I need you to push harder, Nayeon-ssi." The nurse said and Nayeon pushed harder.

"AAAAAAH." She kept yelling.

"C'mon baby, you can do it. Just push and breathe." It isn't the first time that Nayeon is giving birth so Y/N knows what to expect. The first time she was in this scene, she literally didn't know what to do and stood there completely frozen.

"You're almost there, just one more time." The nurse told her to go on and after about 5 minutes crying voices were heard.

"Congratulations, you have twins. A boy and a girl." The nurse smiled and handed the girl to Nayeon while she handed the boy to Y/N.

"T-twins? We were supposed to have one girl." No one told them that they were going to have twins. The doctor told them that it was ONE girl. So both are taken aback now.

"Seems like the boy was hiding." Another nurse smiled.

"What is this? Buy one, get one for free?" Y/N chuckled but stopped immediately when Nayeon glared at her.

"You're so beautiful." Nayeon cried as she looked at her newborn daughter.

"I can't believe we have twins." Y/N said as she looked at both of the children with admiration.

"We need to do a check up on the twins to see if everything is okay." The nurses informed and the couple handed the babies to them.

"Shht, why are you crying?" Y/N caressed Nayeon's hair.

"I'm just happy." Nayeon isn't the type of woman to cry that much, but pregnancy really did change her.

"We have three kids now, isn't that surreal?" Y/N smiled as she looked at her wife.

"How are we going to take care of them?"

"Don't worry about it. We'll take care of them." Y/N kissed Nayeon's forehead.

"Why did I just see two kids?" Jihyo asked as she walked into the room with Dowon.

"We have twins." Y/N answered.

"Oh my God, seriously?"

"Dowon-ah, you have a new sister and brother now." Y/N said as she hugged the boy.

"Are we late?" Sana showed up with Dahyun by her side. It took a very long time for Dahyun to forgive Sana, but she eventually did and they got married two years ago.

"They have twins!' Jihyo yelled in excitement.

"Oh my God, really? Congratulations! I'm so happy for you." Dahyun exclaimed. A bit later Momo and Tzuyu also showed up. Momo has a relationship with a guy named Heechul right now. And Tzuyu... Well Tzuyu is still single. She hasn't even shown the slightest of interest in someone in the past 6 years.

"Here are the twins again. Everything is okay, but you do have to stay here for three days." The nurses informed Nayeon and handed the babies to their parents.

"They're so beautiful." Jihyo shed a tear.

"Dowon-ah what do you think of your siblings? Aren't they so pretty and handsome?" Momo asked Dowon, who was sitting on her lap.

"No, ugly." He shook his head and everyone widened their eyes.

"What did you say, Dowon-ah?" Nayeon asked.

"Ugly babies." He repeated which made Y/N laugh.

"Yah, why are you laughing? It's not funny!" Nayeon scolded her wife.

"C'mon admit it. It's a little funny."

"No! Aish, I can't believe this. He's turning out to be like you." Nayeon shook her head.

"Isn't that a good thing? I'm his mom after all."

"No. You're being a bad influence, he just called his siblings ugly."

"Dowon-ah, look what you did. They're arguing again." Dahyun shook her head. Y/N and Nayeon, well they argue quite a lot, just like how they used to. Some things never change do they?

"I mean it's his opinion. We should respect that." Y/N defended.

"Yah!" Nayeon yelled but was stopped by Jihyo.

"Stop arguing! You just gave birth to twins and you're already arguing in front of them??" Jihyo scolded them and the two immediately shut up. No one can go against God Jihyo.

"Chaeyoung-ah, I think we're late." Mina walked in holding Chaeyoung's hand.

"Wait, why are there two of them?" Chaeyoung is confused. Mina and Chaeyoung also got married about two years ago and they even have a one year old son.

"Where's Sungho?" Tzuyu asked.

"We left him with my parents. That's why we're late, he wouldn't stop crying." Mina explained.

"Hey, the twins should go to sleep now. You can still see them later on in the sleeping room." The nurses came back and took the two kids.

"4 years into marriage and already 3 kids huh? You two are going fast." Sana laughed and the others joined.

"Well, we didn't know we were having twins. One of them came by surprise." Y/N chuckled.

"What are you naming them?" Chaeyoung asked.

"We thought of naming the girl Yoona but we didn't even think about boy names." Nayeon suddenly remembered how they only looked for girl names not boy names.

"How about Joon?" Y/N asked. When they were looking for names for Dowon, Joon was also an option.

"I like that." Nayeon smiled.

"Sana-yah, Dahyun-ah, when will you two have kids?" Momo asked.

"Yah, why do you keep asking? You should get married first yourself." Sana defended.

"I already have a boyfriend. Tzuyu is the one that should find someone!" Momo diverted the attention to Tzuyu.

"Momo's right about that though. Tzuyu when are you going to date someone huh?" Y/N asked.

"I'm just waiting for the right person." It's the same sentence that Tzuyu uses all the time.

"Wait, Jihyo is also single so you two should just date each other." Sana suggested and everyone just laughed about it. Except for one person and that person is Tzuyu. She seemed somewhat sad when they mentioned it but the only one who noticed it was Y/N.

"Yah, that's impossible besides I just got out of a relationship. I don't think I'll be dating for a while." Jihyo said. She was in a relationship with a guy named Daniel but they broke up about a month ago. When Tzuyu heard Jihyo say that, her mood changed entirely and again the only one that noticed it was Y/N. Is she maybe having a crush on Jihyo? Why is she so affected by this? Y/N made a mental note to question Tzuyu later on.

"Y/N unnie must be happy that Nayeon unnie finally gave birth." Chaeyoung smiled.

"Yah, why?" Nayeon furrowed her eyebrows.

"Admit it unnie, you're pretty hard to deal with when you're pregnant." Sana said.

"Do y'all think it's easy being pregnant? Do you think I want all those mood swings?"

"She's right. Luckily Y/N takes good care of her. Chaeyoung wouldn't even lift a finger when I was pregnant." Mina remembered.

"Yah, that's not true!" Chaeyoung pouted.

"Yeah, I've never seen anyone spoil their wife as much as Y/N does. She's really whipped." Momo mentioned.

"Yeah, if I were Nayeon unnie, I would do the same you know." Tzuyu laughed.

"Alright, alright, it's late. My wife here needs to sleep." Y/N stopped the conversation because she didn't like where it was going.

"Yeah, we should go now." Dahyun stood up and everyone went out of the room except for Nayeon, Dowon and Jihyo.

"We'll come back tomorrow, Y/N-ah. Congratulations again." The girls all congratulated and hugged her.

"Tzuyu-yah, wait!" Y/N ran after her which made the younger girl stop.

"Something's wrong?"

"No, no. I just noticed something today. You have a crush on Jihyo unnie, don't you?" Y/N smirked.

"What? I think you're out of your mind." Tzuyu diverted her eyes which is something she does whenever she gets exposed.

"Don't lie Tzuyu-yah, you can tell me."

"Does it even matter? She'll never like me back." Tzuyu said in a sad voice.

"You can never know that. Why don't you just tell her?" Now that Y/N thinks about it, it was actually very obvious. Tzuyu has been liking the principal for quite some time now.

"No, I don't want to ruin our friendship. And don't tell anyone or I will kill you." Tzuyu warned her.

"Okay, okay, I won't tell them." Y/N laughed and went back to the room after Tzuyu bid her goodbyes.

"Should I take Dowon with me? He shouldn't stay at the hospital all night." Jihyo asked.

"Yeah, I think that'll be the best." Y/N answered.

"We'll come back early in the morning." Luckily the little boy is sleeping so he'll be back with his parents before he even knows it.

"Thank you, unnie." Y/N thanked her and with that Jihyo also left.

"It's been a long day." Y/N sighed and sat next to Nayeon. "Are you feeling okay? Do you want me to get something for you?"

"No, no, I'm okay Y/N. I don't need anything."

"Are you sure?" Y/N asked again. This is what her friends mean by spoiling her too much.

"Yes. I'm sure. Can you just stay with me?"

"Of course." Y/N said and kissed her wife on the lips.

"You know my mom actually wanted to have a kid after me but she couldn't get pregnant. The doctors told her that she had a very low chance of getting pregnant again." Y/N shared some new information.

"Now look at me, I already have 3 kids. She would be so happy to see her grandchildren." Y/N became sad at the thought of her mom.

"She would also be very proud of you. You're the best wife and the best mother out there." Nayeon laid her head on Y/N's shoulder.

"You know some of my friends told me that I'm spoiling you too much and that's why you're exaggerating your cravings. Is that true?" Y/N questioned.

"What? No. I mean maybe, I don't know. I just like how you take care of me and sometimes I miss you when you're at work." Nayeon finally admitted.

"I'm sorry, I should've been home more often."

"Why are you saying sorry? You literally spend all your free time taking care of your family. You never even complained once when I woke you up in the middle of the night because I was hungry. Not a lot of people would do everything that you do. You don't know how much I appreciate it."  The older explained.

"I'm going to try to work a bit less from now on. Now that we have three kids, I think we're going to need a lot of time and energy."

"How are you going to do that when you're the most popular officer in town?"

"I'm not that popular babe." Y/N shook her head.

"You were even on the news the other day because you saved those kids from those kidnappers." It's true that Y/N gained quite some popularity ever since she became a cop.

"That's why I'm doing this job. I like to save people but I also like to spend time with my family and I promise you, I won't let work come in between me and my family." Y/N promised.

"I promise that too." Nayeon smiled.

"I'm not the only popular one you know? You're one of the most popular teachers out there as well." The reason is probably because Nayeon is very pretty and still looks like she's 20 even though she's 33.

"If you say so." Nayeon laughed.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Nayeon noticed how Y/N was staring at her after a short silence.

"You're just so perfect. I'm really happy with you." Y/N confessed.

"I'm not perfect." Nayeon said with a weak voice as she looked down.

"Wait, what? Did the oh so perfect Im Nayeon just say that she's not perfect?" Y/N is confused, Nayeon is always the one that's praising herself about how good and perfect she looks but now she's saying the opposite.

"I put on a lot of weight."

"That's normal. You carried two kids for 9 months." Y/N laughed. "You're still perfect in my eyes though. Besides you look healthier now, you were too skinny anyways." Y/N caressed the woman's cheek.

"I love you, Y/N."

"I love you too, baby." Y/N leaned in and kissed her wife slowly until someone knocked on the door.

"Come in!" Y/N yelled.

"Ah they're here, Taehyung-ah." Jimin showed up.

"You just had two kids and didn't even call me?" Jimin is offended.

"I didn't even have time to breathe let alone to call you." Y/N defended.

"Where are the babies? I want to see them." Taehyung asked.

"They're sleeping." Nayeon informed.

"How did you guys know anyways?" Y/N asked.

"Sana told us. How are you two feeling though? You're parents of 3 children now." Jimin asked.

"I don't know, I still can't comprehend it." Y/N shook her head. Jimin and Y/N have gotten really close over the years. Jimin took over his dad's place and is now leading the gang together with Taehyung.

"We should leave you guys alone now. We'll visit the twins tomorrow. Ahh I can't wait to see them." Taehyung said in excitement. He really loves to play with kids which you wouldn't expect from a coldhearted gangster like him.

"Alright, thanks for coming, I appreciate it." Y/N smiled and hugged the two guys.

"Now, you should sleep as well, love. You look tired." Y/N approached Nayeon and kissed her forehead.

"I'm right here if you need anything." Y/N sat down on the chair next to the bed.

One year later

Another year has passed and Nayeon's family is here to visit them. They've been visiting quite a lot ever since the twins were born.

"Oh mom dad, you're here already." Y/N said as she just came back from work. Nayeon's parents treat Y/N like their own daughter so Y/N also treats them like her real parents.

"Why is Yoona not sleeping? She should be sleeping by now." Y/N questioned.

"I've been trying to put her to sleep for hours now, but she just won't sleep." Joon is actually a pretty easy baby to take care of, but Yoona is unfortunately the opposite. She keeps crying all night and she doesn't sleep that much.

"Let me try." Y/N took Yoona from her lover and went into the room where Joon is already sleeping. After about 5 minutes Y/N came back.

"Why are you back already?" Seoyeon asked.

"She's sleeping."

"Wait, what? Yah, it takes me hours to put her to sleep, how did you just succeed in 5 minutes?" Nayeon got frustrated. It's not fair.

"I have my ways." Y/N winked.

"Dowon-ah, c'mon you should also go to sleep." Nayeon said.

"No!" The boy protested.

"C'mon Dowon-ah, It's late."

"No, I don't want to." Seems like he doesn't want to sleep since he likes to play with his grandparents.

"Dowon-ah, how about you go to sleep now and tomorrow when you wake up we'll go to the park and eat some ice cream huh?" Y/N suggested.

"Okay." The boy answered and held his mother's hand while they went to the bedroom.

"How the fuck does she do that?" Seoyeon asked. Dowon literally listens to no one except for Y/N.

"You know I never thought that Y/N would be a good parent, but she's doing such a great job." Nayeon's father mentioned.

"Yeah, she really is a good parent." Nayeon smiled.

"Well, they're all asleep now." Y/N came back.

"Why do they listen to you but not to me?" Nayeon crossed her arms.

"Because you're too harsh on them."

"Well, you're too fun. You're more like their friend than their parent." Nayeon is more like the mom that scolds her children while Y/N is the fun mom that does fun things with the kids behind her wife's back.

"That's why you two balance each other. Kids need a parent that can scold them but they also need a parent that they can have fun with." Ms. Im said.

Y/N and Nayeon are cuddling in bed right now after a long day.

"Babe?" Y/N broke the silence.

"Yes?"

"We should go on a date this weekend." Y/N suggested.

"What about the kids?"

"We'll ask your parents to take care of them." Y/N answered.

"You know how they are, Y/N. They're hard to deal with, I don't think my parents can handle them."

"We'll leave when they're sleeping and come back before they wake up."

"I-I don't know." Nayeon was hesitant.

"C'mon babe, we need to have a little break. It's been a while since it was just the two of us. The kids will be fine." Y/N tried to convince her wife.

"Okay." Nayeon smiled and Y/N suddenly got on top of her and started to kiss her wife slowly. Nayeon wrapped her arms around Y/N's neck and they deepened the kiss. The kiss got pretty heated and both of them are turned on right now. Unfortunately their fun time was interrupted by a crying voice.

"Fuck." Y/N cursed under her breath.

"I'll get it." Nayeon was about to get up but Y/N stopped her.

"No you should sleep, I'll take care of it." Y/N said and went to the crying Yoona.

"Aish, why do you always interrupt my fun time with your mommy huh?" Y/N asked the crying girl as she held her in her arms.

"Why can't you be more like Joon? He barely cries but look at you, you cry all the time."

"Probably because she wants your attention." Nayeon suddenly back hugged Y/N.

"Is that how girls are? They cry when they want attention?" Y/N questioned.

"You're a girl yourself, you should know."

"I never liked attention when I was a kid, though." Y/N remembered.

"But you always wanted my attention when we were dating."

"Really? What did I do when you didn't give it to me?" Y/N doesn't really remember it.

"You got angry and violent." Nayeon chuckled as she pulled herself away from Y/N.

"Yah! You promised that you would never mention that again!" Y/N whisper yelled. Luckily the little girl stopped crying soon and Y/N put her back to bed.

"Now should we continue, what we were going to do?" Y/N smirked as she suddenly lifted Nayeon up bridal style.

"Yah! The kids are sleeping." The teacher hit Y/N's chest.

"It's fine, they won't hear anything." Y/N smiled and with that the two went back to bed to continue their special time with each other.
