Y/N is at the police academy training right now. Well, she has been training all day actually. Ms. Yang didn't lie when she said that she was going to make it hard for Y/N. She keeps yelling at her and scolding her, but luckily Y/N can control herself.
"Choi Y/N, run faster!" Ms. Yang yelled when everyone was running.
"Fucking bitch."Â Y/N mumbled under her breath. She's already the fastest runner out of everyone. Why isn't she telling other students to run faster?
"I told you she was going to be like this." Yena suddenly came running beside her.
"I don't mind."Â Y/N lied.
"You look like you do though." The girl smirked.
"Why are you bothering me?"Â Y/N is already freaking annoyed and this girl just makes it worse.
"I just want to become friends."
"Why? Ms. Yang already hates me. Do you want her to hate you too?"Â Y/N asked with a lack of breath.
"No but I still want to be your friend." How can a girl that's so nice want to become a cop? It seems like she can't even hurt a fly but then again she's one of the best students.
"Everyone stop running and gather here!" Ms. Yang yelled and all the students gathered.
"Alright let me explain what we're going to do next. You're going to start running from here. On your way there are boxes and other obstacles which you have to avoid by either jumping or by running beside it. It may look easy but this is actually one of the hardest exercises you're gonna have to do." The woman explained.
"You're supposed to do this in less than two minutes but no woman has ever succeeded except for me. Since you guys are new and haven't been training long, you should be able to do it in three minutes. If it takes longer than three minutes then it means you're either not at your place or that you're fucking weak." Ms. Yang chuckled.
"Anyone who thinks they can do it in under three minutes?"
"Me." A girl named Eunbi put her hand up.
"Alright. We have our first volunteer. 3,2,1 Go!" And with that the girl started running. She's one of the fastest runners here. If she can't pull it off, no one can.
"2 minutes 40 seconds. You're lucky you're under three miss."
"Choi Yena, your turn." Yena wasn't expecting to be called and she was quite nervous. She looked at Y/N who was standing beside her and Y/N just nodded her head indicating that she'll be okay.
"3,2,1, Go!" Yena started to run. Y/N could see how hard it was. She was calculating in her head how long it would actually take her to do it.
"2 minutes and 45 seconds. You're all so fucking slow, I can't believe this." The woman shook her head.
"What's your record, Ms. Yang?"Â Y/N suddenly asked.
"A minute and 53 seconds. Why are you asking? Do you think you can pull it off? Honey, I don't even think you can do it in under 4 minutes." The woman laughed and so did the students.
"It was your record right?"
"Yes. Weren't you listening before pabo? I'm the only woman at this school that has ever succeeded to do this in under two minutes and guess what? I did it 20 years ago. No one has ever been able to beat it since then." The woman said proudly. Y/N really wants to do it and beat that freaking record of hers, but she's kinda worried. It seems impossible to do it under one minute and 53 seconds.
"I'm sure I can beat it."Â Y/N said and the woman started laughing hysterically.
"Are you crazy? You? Never in a million years."
"Y/N don't. There's no way you can do it. It's impossible." Yena whispered to Y/N. She's still out of breath.
"Not for me."Â Y/N is actually 80% sure that she won't be able to do it but she's believing in that 20%. Maybe if she can beat Ms. Yang's record, the woman will stop treating her like this. But if she fails then it means that it's going to worsen.
"Let's do it."Â Y/N stood at the start line.
"You're going to embarrass yourself real bad Y/N. But whatever 3,2,1 Go." And with that Y/N started running as fast as she could. She jumped over the boxes with full force and she gave it her 100%. The way Ms. Yang said that she wouldn't be able to do it gave Y/N even more motivation to pull this off. When Y/N arrived at the finish line, she was out of breath.
"Fuck."Â Y/N said to herself. It seemed like it took her forever. She's sure that she didn't beat the record.
"And?"Â Y/N asked Ms. Yang, but the woman didn't answer and looked at her stopwatch with wide eyes.
"I-I can't believe this." She stuttered. "A minute and 45 seconds..." Upon hearing that, everyone was in shock. Did Y/N really just beat Ms. Yang's record?
"Y/N beat the record?" A student asked.
"Class is over." The woman suddenly said. She's frustrated by this situation.
"Aren't you going to say something? You said I wouldn't be able to do it in under four minutes."Â Y/N smirked. She can't believe that she actually pulled it off...
"Well, seems like you can. Congratulations, the record is yours. Now class is done." The woman walked away.
"Oh my God, I knew you were good but you're actually amazing! Did you see the look on her face? Waah daebak." It seems like Yena is more excited than Y/N.
"Thanks."Â Y/N smiled. "I need to go now, though. See you later Yena-ssi?"
"Yeah, yeah. See you later." Yena waved and Y/N left. Everyone just looked at her with admiration. Guess this is where her popularity starts.
---------------------------------------------------
Friday has come, meaning that Nayeon's family will be coming today. Nayeon's birthday is tomorrow but they decided to come a day earlier so that they can stay the entire weekend. Nayeon is a bit nervous. Her parents haven't seen her new apartment yet but most importantly they haven't seen Y/N. Nayeon did tell them a bit about her but not that much, so she's pretty nervous about it.
"Ah fuck, why am I so nervous?" Nayeon asked herself as she finished cooking. Just when Nayeon was cleaning up a bit, the doorbell rang.
"Mom?" Nayeon smiled as she opened the door.
"Nayeon-ah." The woman smiled and hugged her daughter tightly. They haven't seen each other for like two months.
"I'm not getting a hug?" Seoyeon, Nayeon's sister asked.
"Of course you're getting one." Nayeon also hugged her sister as she messed up her hair.
"Well, come in." Nayeon widened the door and both of them entered.
"Where's dad?"
"He's parking the car." Ms. Im answered.
"Seoyeon-ah help me put your bags in the guest room." Nayeon said to her sister.
"You have a nice apartment, Nayeon-ie. It's better than your last one." Her mom mentioned.
"Yeah, this one is bigger." Seoyeon added.
"That must be dad." Nayeon said when the doorbell rang again.
"Dad!" Nayeon hugged her dad.
"Ahh Nayeon-ah, too tight." The man acted like he was in pain. Nayeon loves both of her parents, but she has a different bond with her dad. The two were inseparable back in the day.
"You can give your bag to me." Nayeon took the bag out of her father's hands and placed it in the guest room.
"So where's your girlfriend?" Ms. Im asked.
"I called her before you came. She's on her way." Nayeon smiled.
"I can't believe I'm calling someone other than Jeongyeon your girlfriend." The woman sighed. She's still sad that the two broke up.
"Mom! Jeongyeon and I have been over for a long time. Why can't you get over it?" Nayeon is sick of hearing Jeongyeon's name all the time.
"You know how much your mom loved Jeongyeon. She's just sad." Mr. Im defended as he side hugged Nayeon.
"Still, we're over and we're never getting back together."
"I'm sure she'll like your new girlfriend as much." Her dad smiled.
"Yeah, I doubt that." Seoyeon said under her breath, which made Nayeon glare at her.
"You doubt that? Why?" Her mom questioned.
"Seoyeon was just joking, wasn't she?" Nayeon said as she kept glaring at her sister.
"Yeah, yeah, I was joking."
"Ah that must be her." Mr. Im said when someone walked into the apartment. it is Y/N indeed.
"Oh hey babe." Nayeon went to Y/N and kissed her cheek.
"Hello." Y/N bowed shyly to them. She's really nervous. She has never met someone's parents before. She hasn't even met her friends' parents before. Probably because her friends were scared that Y/N was going to act like an ass towards them.
"So you're the famous Y/N huh? It's nice to meet you Y/N." The woman offered a hand shake and Y/N immediately accepted as she bowed.
"It's nice to meet you too." Y/N said shyly. Nayeon has never seen Y/N this shy.
"So you're the girl that's making my daughter so happy, huh?" Mr. Im asked.
"Ah yes, I'm trying."
"You already met my sister Seoyeon." Nayeon gestured to Seoyeon who just kept glaring at Y/N. Seoyeon knows everything about their relationship. She knows how devastated Nayeon was when they broke up and how much Y/N hurt her sister. That's why she doesn't like Y/N at all.
"Yes, I did. Nice to see you again." Y/N bowed to Seoyeon but the girl just rolled her eyes. Y/N knows that this is going to be one long weekend.
"Well, I bet you guys are hungry. So how about we have dinner? I prepared dad's favorite."
"Oh my God. You made tofu stew?" The man got excited.
"Exactly. Y/N can you help me in the kitchen? I already set up the table so you three can go and sit at the table. Make yourself comfortable." Nayeon said and pulled her girlfriend into the kitchen.
"Why didn't you tell me that they already came? I thought they didn't come yet."Â Y/N stressed.
"They came right after we called. I didn't have time to let you know."
"Fuck, I didn't even have time to check myself in the mirror. How do I look?"Â Y/N worried.
"Babe, you look fine." Nayeon caressed Y/N's hair putting it in the right place.
"Don't be so nervous. It'll be fine." Nayeon assured.
"Did you tell them something about me? I mean what do they know?"
"Euhhmm..." Nayeon couldn't find the words.
"So you didn't tell them anything. Great. That's even better." Y/N said sarcastically. Nayeon's parents are definitely not going to be happy when they find out more about Y/N.
"Yah, stop worrying! You're making me nervous too by being like this."
"Your parents are not gonna be happy."Â Y/N shook her head.
"Well, she's right about that." Seoyeon suddenly showed up in the kitchen.
"Yah! Why are you here? Go back to the table!" Nayeon yelled to her sister.
"You know you're gonna have to tell them about everything right? Cause if you don't, I will."
"I know and that's what I'm going to do, so don't you dare telling them instead of me."
"Also stop glaring at Y/N. They'll know if you keep looking at her like that." Nayeon added.
"Yeah, that ain't happening. You're lucky that I'm not beating the shit out of you Choi Y/N. My sister might have forgiven you, but I will never." Seoyeon informed and went back to her parents.
"She's quite violent isn't she?"Â Y/N chuckled.
"She's just talk. She can't even hurt a fly, but I'm sure she's going to make it difficult for us."
"It's going to be a hard weekend, isn't it?"Â Y/N questioned.
"Yes. But you and I, together, we'll get through it won't we?" The older girl asked as she approached Y/N and Y/N smiled weakly.
"They just need to see that you treat me well and that I'm happy with you. Then I'm sure it'll be fine." Nayeon informed and pecked Y/N's lips.
"And here's the tofu stew!" Nayeon said coming out of the kitchen, followed by Y/N.
"It smells delicious." Mr. Im smiled.
"So Y/N tell us a bit about yourself. Nayeon did mention that she has a girlfriend, but we barely know anything about you." Nayeon's mom asked when they started eating. Y/N suddenly became nervous by the sudden question. This is the first time she's getting nervous in like 10 years, so she doesn't really know how to deal with it. Luckily Nayeon noticed Y/N's nervousness and held her girlfriend's hand under the table.
"Yeah, do you have siblings for example?" Her dad added.
"Oh no, I'm an only child." That's actually partially a lie. She found out that Jimin is her brother a few months ago, but what is she supposed to tell them? Ah yes, I found out that I have a brother from another mother a few months ago and I probably have like 10 other siblings cause my dad likes to fuck around and make women pregnant? Yeah, it ain't happening.
"How is your relationship with your parents?" Ms. Im asked.
"I unfortunately lost my mom when I was a kid. And my dad... well he's around."Â Y/N smiled weakly.
"Oh I'm sorry to hear that."
"Y/N is actually studying to become a cop." Nayeon informed.
"Oh really? My brother is a cop as well." The dad smiled.
"You must be younger than our Nayeon-ie then. Well, it isn't really a surprise, Nayeon's ex girlfriend was also younger by a year."
"Mom!" Nayeon yelled.
"Yes, I'm younger." Y/N just smiled weakly. Luckily they didn't ask how much younger Y/N is.
"So you're still studying? How do you manage financially?" Seoyeon asked.
"Stop interrogating Y/N like that." Nayeon joked.
"It's fine."Â Y/N assured. "I have a part time job. I study in the week and work in the weekends."
"You have a hardworking girlfriend I see." Mr. Im said.
"Yeah, right. Hardworking." Seoyeon rolled her eyes.
"Nayeon-ah, you never told us how the two of you met." Her mom mentioned.
"Oh we met at school."
"You mean in university?"
"She means school as in high school. The school where she worked at." Seoyeon informed and Nayeon glared at her sending her warning signs.
"Oh did you also work there?" The dad asked.
"O-oh, n-no."Â Y/N stuttered.
"She was a student." Nayeon said and both her parents widened their eyes.
"W-wait, what? Y/N was your student?" Ms. Im furrowed her eyebrows.
"Yes. I was her teacher."
"How much exactly are you younger than Nayeon?" Her father asked.
"8 years. She's 8 years younger." Nayeon said weakly. She could already see the disappointment in her parents eyes.
"So you're 19?" He asked.
"Yes. I turned 19 two weeks ago."
"How did this even happen? How did you end up dating one of your ex students?" Ms. Im questioned.
"Why do you think she got fired from that school?" Seoyeon asked.
"You got fired? You told us that you left because you didn't like it there. So you lied?" Mr. Im raised his eyebrows.
"This can't be true, right? Please tell me that you started dating her after she graduated." Her mom pleaded and Nayeon just kept silent.
"I can't believe this... Were you out of your mind?? You dated a student? Let alone a student, you dated a minor?" Her mother started yelling.
"I didn't raise you like this. I didn't raise you to do illegal things. Weren't you thinking about your career? Your reputation?"
"Honey, please let her explain." The man tried to calm her down.
"And you knew? Why didn't you tell us?" She asked Seoyeon.
"I didn't think they were going to get back together."
"So you dated, broke up, then got back together?" The father asked and the two guilty girls just nodded.
"You're going to tell us everything right now." The woman crossed her arms waiting for them to explain theirselves.
"It's true that Y/N was my student. We met in her last year of high school. We didn't like each other at first, but eventually we fell in love so we started dating secretly. Later on we realized that we couldn't go on so we broke up." Nayeon explained.
"Then how did the school find out?" Nayeon's dad asked.
"Jeongyeon unnie exposed them after they broke up." Seoyeon informed.
"What happened to you?" The mom asked Y/N.
"I got expelled."
"Yeah but not for dating her teacher. She got expelled because she beat the shit out of Jeongyeon unnie. She's violent like that." Seoyeon is really annoying the shit out of Nayeon right now.
"And you two still got back together despite everything that happened?" Mr. Im questioned.
"Yes. Because we love each other. We were apart for a year. We didn't see each other for a year and I still couldn't get over her. I know you guys are going to be against this relationship because she's younger and because she was my student but please I just want you to understand that we truly do love each other and that we're very happy now." Nayeon tried explaining.
"Is that why you came to Busan for two months that summer?" Her mom asked. After everything that happened Nayeon stayed with her family the whole summer that year.
"Obviously." Seoyeon chuckled.
"This relationship is never going to last, can't you see that Nayeon-ah? She's way younger than you. You're 27 now, you're going to want to marry soon but do you think she'll want that? She's just 19 for God's sake." The woman sighed.
"If Nayeon unnie wants to marry, then I'll marry her, don't you worry about that. I don't care that I'm younger than her. If there is one reason why I'm dating her, it's because I see a future with her. So it doesn't matter if I marry her now, within a year or within 10 years. I know for sure that she's going to be the one that I'll marry."Â Y/N explained.
"That's what you're saying now. You'll think differently once you're in you're 20's. You're going to want someone that's your own age and you'll leave Nayeon behind. And then it'll be too late for Nayeon to marry someone decent."
"Honey, let's not exaggerate. Age doesn't define love does it? So what if she's younger?" The dad defended.
"Dad, you don't even know half of it. The problem isn't their ages or the fact that she was a student. The problem is Y/N herself." Seoyeon looked at Y/N.
"What do you mean?" Both parents are confused by what she just said.
"Y/N here has anger issues. She's violent and angry. She's from a gangster family after all, isn't she?" Nayeon and Y/N froze at Seoyeon's statement. Nayeon never told her about Y/N's family. So how does she even know? Y/N looked at Nayeon with questioning eyes and Nayeon just shook her head indicating that she doesn't know how the girl found out.
"G-g-gangster?" The mom stuttered.
"Why don't you ask her who her father is? You both actually know her father, he's quite famous."
"Seoyeon stop." Nayeon is fuming in anger right now. Her parents were never supposed to know this.
"Who's your father?" Mr. Im asked in a very cold tone.
"Choi Minho."
"Y-you're joking right?" Nayeon's mother laughed. She can't believe this.
"She's not. She's the daughter of the famous gangster named Choi Minho. And let me tell you, she's exactly the same as him."Â Y/N really feels exposed right now. She feels weak because she can't even defend herself. Everything Seoyeon is saying is true.
"Stop it!" Nayeon yelled at her sister. "Don't speak if you don't know anything! Y/N is nothing like him!"
"Can we speak to our daughter privately?" Mr. Im asked. Y/N looked at Nayeon hesitantly and Nayeon nodded telling her to go. It's better for Y/N to leave right now so that Nayeon can talk to them privately. Besides Y/N is starting to get angry by how Seoyeon and Ms. Im talk to her.
"I-I'll just go for a walk."Â Y/N said as she stood up and left the apartment.
"You know I could have seen past the fact that she's younger and that she was your student but the daughter of Choi Minho? Really Nayeon?" Mr. Im is always the one who's a 100% behind the decisions Nayeon makes, but right now he just can't.
"Just let me talk. Do you really think I would be dating her if she was like him? She's not and that's the reason why I'm dating her. I knew that she was his daughter before we even started dating."
"So you still decided to date her even when you knew who she was??" Nayeon's mom is in shock. She would understand if her daughter found out about it when they were already dating, but she can't understand how Nayeon still decided to date her despite knowing.
"Yes. Because I saw how she lived. You don't know anything about her, no one really knows. Everyone just keeps judging her without knowing what she really went through."
"Then please tell us so we can understand." Seoyeon said.
"You guys know how I care about my students well being right? I always try to help them out if I notice that they're having a hard time wether it's about school, life or home it doesn't matter. When I met Y/N she was this cold student that was rude to everyone. Everyone just thought that she was an asshole so they shrugged it off. I thought the same in the beginning. But later on I started to realize that she was actually acting, it wasn't the real Y/N. She was portraying to be someone else."
"So I started to become curious about her. No one really knew anything about her and why she was like that. Then one day I found out that she lived in a very bad place. She lived in the worst neighbourhood with barely any electricity and water. After her mom died, her dad abandoned her and she was sent to an orphanage, but when she got older they threw her out and she got a guardian. Unfortunately that guardian didn't treat her well so she ran away and lived on her own. She's been surviving by her own for almost 10 years now."
"When she told me that, my heart broke for her. No one deserves to live in such circumstances at such a young age."
"Why didn't she just become a gang member? Like her dad?" Mr. Im asked.
"Because she hates him. She hates him more than anyone. She would rather live a poor life than becoming a gang member."
"And why's that?" The woman asked.
"Because he killed her mom right in front of her eyes. The hate she developed for him is huge. That's why she's nothing like him because she refuses to be like him. I know she's a good person. Y/N might seem cold but she has a good heart, she's treating me well and she's making me feel loved. Just please give her a chance to show you that she's nothing like him. All of you know that I wouldn't be asking for a chance if she was actually like him. So please just at least this weekend try to get to know her. Don't judge her based on her father." Nayeon pleaded.
"Nayeon-ah, even if she doesn't have any contact with him and even if she hates him, she's still his daughter. Evil is in her blood..." Ms. Im said.
"Yeah, she's probably just hiding it." Seoyeon added.
"Seoyeon said that she's violent and angry, don't you think that it has something to do with her family?" Her dad asked.
"Yes. Y/N was angry and violent in the past, but how can she not be when she went through so much? She's better now though, she changed. She literally changed herself so that she can win me back. And believe me I wouldn't have gotten back together with her if she hadn't changed."
"You're just blinded by love, unnie. People can't change." The younger girl shook her head.
"I'm not blinded. I can see the change and it isn't just me, everyone who knows her can see it."
"Look even if she has changed, she's still related to a gangster. It's dangerous for you to be with her." Ms. Im informed.
"Most people don't know that she's his daughter, so it's fine."
"There are too many things wrong with this relationship for me to accept it. She was your student, she's 8 years younger and she's the daughter of Choi Minho for God's sake. Would you be happy if your daughter was dating someone like that?" Her mom questioned.
"No. That's why I understand where you guys are coming from. But I would give the girl a chance though."
"If that's what you want then fine. We'll give her a chance." Mr. Im nodded slowly.
"What? Dad are you crazy?" Seoyeon protested.
"Your sister loves her. Besides Nayeon is a smart girl, she knows what she's doing. The least we can do is just give Y/N a chance, maybe she's nothing like that. But I swear if I get one wrong vibe from that girl, it's over for me."
"Mom?" Nayeon asked.
"Fine. I really hope you're right about her, but I still think you're going to get hurt in the end."
"You didn't think Jeongyeon was going to hurt me, but she ended up hurting me more than anyone else. So maybe your feelings are wrong." Nayeon reminded her. It seems like her mom is just ignoring the fact that Jeongyeon hurt her just because she likes her.
"You're both crazy. They might give her a chance but I won't. It seems like you easily forgot how much she hurt you." Seoyeon crossed her arms.
"I didn't forget it, yes, she hurt me but I hurt her too. The important thing is that we're happy now so please just at least stop giving her a hard time?"
"She'll only show her real personality if we give her a hard time though."
"Your sister is right about that." Her father agreed.
"Okay, just do whatever you want but please just give her a chance that's all I'm asking."
"We will, Nayeon-ah. But we can't promise anything. It's not going to be easy." Ms. Im informed.
"I know but thank you for at least considering."
"Let's just celebrate your birthday tomorrow and we'll see what happens after that. We don't want to ruin your birthday." Her father added.
"We're only here for three days though. It isn't enough to get to know Y/N." Seoyeon remembered.
"Then we should stay here longer. If that's okay with your sister?" The woman asked.
"Yeah, of course that's okay but from monday on Y/N and I aren't that much home. Won't you mind?"
"We wanted to visit some friends and some places here anyways." The man added.
"Okay." Nayeon smiled weakly. Great, now it's going to be even harder. Nayeon continued to catch up with her parents and even though they act like they're okay, she can see that they're pretty disappointed. They don't like this relationship at all.
After they ate, Nayeon decided to clean up and since it's pretty late her parents decided to go to sleep now. Nayeon is worried about Y/N though. She's still not back.
"There's only one bed in the guest room. Where am I going to sleep?" Her sister asked.
"On the couch."
"What? You couldn't even get me a bed?"
"Stop being a spoiled brat." Nayeon scolded her. Seoyeon really be thinking that she's the queen sometimes.
"Ugh fine, I'll sleep on the couch." Seoyeon sighed and Nayeon went to the balcony to text Y/N.
Where are you? - Nayeon
I'm at Tzuyu's place -Â Y/N
You can come back now. I talked to them and they went to sleep. - Nayeon
"Okay, I'm on my way. -Â Y/N
"Was that Nayeon unnie?" Tzuyu asked.
"Yeah, she said that I can go back home."
"Let's hope that she talked to her parents." Tzuyu patted Y/N's shoulder.
"Yeah. Remember to come a bit early tomorrow, yeah? I don't think I can be alone with them for very long."
"Yes, yes, I'll come. I'll bring Dahyun unnie with me."
"Wait, Dahyun will come?"Â Y/N is surprised.
"Yeah, I mean that's what she told me yesterday."
"I'm glad to hear that. Anyways I should go now."Â Y/N went to the door.
"Good luck, unnie." Tzuyu smiled and with that Y/N left.
----------------------------------------
When Y/N came back to her apartment she couldn't see Nayeon, instead she was met with Seoyeon who was sitting on the couch watching some tv.
"Looking for unnie?" She asked.
"Y-yes."Â Y/N stuttered.
"She's at the balcony." The girl informed and Y/N went to the balcony. Just like Seoyeon said, Nayeon was indeed there but she's smoking again. Y/N knows that Nayeon doesn't smoke often but when she smokes it means that the teacher is very stressed out. Y/N is really worried that their talk didn't go well.
"Babe?"Â Y/N asked as she approached her.
"Oh, you're home."
"Yeah. How did it go?"Â Y/N asked. She's not sure if she really wants to hear the answer.
"I-I'm not sure. I guess it went okay? I mean they didn't yell that much."
"What did they say?"
"They said that they don't accept this relationship, but I somehow convinced them to give you a chance. They want to get to know you." Nayeon explained.
"Really?"
"Yes. But it's not going to be easy. They literally have the worst possible image of you right now. They act like you're some kind of monster that will hurt me in the future."Â Y/N became sad upon hearing that.
"Hey, don't be sad. I'm sure that they'll eventually accept us." Nayeon cupped Y/N's face.
"I don't want to give you a hard time. I don't want you to choose between me and your family."
"That's not going to happen. I'm not choosing any of you. I'm not going to go against them but I'm also not going to leave you. There has to be a way for us to compromise." Nayeon caressed Y/N's cheek. She knows how worried Y/N is.
"You're already going against them by just being with me right now. I grew up without a family, but you, you're so close to them and it's clear that they love you a lot and that they want the best for you. I don't want to come in between you guys."Â Y/N admitted.
"Y/N... They already said that they are willing to give you a chance. Just behave like you normally do and it will be fine. Don't try to impress them or anything. Just be you, I want them to see the real Y/N. The Y/N that I love." Nayeon said and Y/N held Nayeon's hand that was on her face and intertwined their fingers.
"What if they still don't like me?"
"I won't stop until they do." Nayeon said. She seems pretty confident about this but she's actually not confident at all. She's actually very worried and Y/N can see that.
"I love you, Im Nayeon."Â Y/N smiled. No one has ever fought for her like this.
"I love you too, babe. A lot. I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't."
"I know and don't worry I will make them like me. I will fight for you till the end. I won't put you in a situation where you have to choose between us, okay?"Â Y/N asked and Nayeon nodded.
"Let's go to sleep?"Â Y/N asked.
"Yeah, let's go." Nayeon answered and grabbed Y/N's hand as they went to their bedroom. Truth be told both of them couldn't sleep that night because they kept thinking about how things will turn out. Both are hoping for Nayeon's family to eventually accept Y/N into the family as well.
