Chapter 34

Nayeon just arrived at school, but something feels off. All eyes were on her when she entered. She kept hearing whispers and students kept looking at her. The teacher decided to shrug it off, thinking that it's probably not about her until Sana suddenly approached her.

"Unnie, did you see?"

"See what?" Nayeon has no idea what Sana is talking about.

"Someone posted these pictures online."

"Look if it's about Y/N please don't show me." She's trying to cut off anything that's related to Y/N.

"It's not just about her, it's about you as well." Sana sighed and Nayeon gave her a confusing look.

"What are you talking about?"

"See yourself." Sana handed her phone and Nayeon looked at the picture that showed up on the screen. It was a picture of her and Y/N kissing... Nayeon's heart immediately started racing.

"W-who posted this?"

"I have no idea. It was posted today. I think everyone saw it already. Maybe it was Jungkook?" Sana questioned but Nayeon shook her head. She looked at the picture closely and she could guess who took it. It's not Jungkook, it's someone else.

All the students that were in the hallway kept looking at her, making her uncomfortable. Y/N and the teacher kept denying the rumors, but now the truth is out. Nayeon saw Y/N entering the school and it looked like Y/N has no idea about what's happening. At least not yet.

"Y/N can't see this. She's gonna lose her mind." Nayeon started panicking. The entire school saw the picture. What's gonna happen? Is she going to get fired? Is Y/N going to get expelled?

"We can't prevent that, unnie. She's gonna see it soon." By soon, Ms. Minatozaki means like a couple of minutes.

Y/N just arrived at school like usual. She doesn't want to go to school anymore. She doesn't want to face her ex-girlfriend and she's also sick of all the students treating her like a murderur. Literally no one approaches her except for her friends. The teachers also stopped talking to her. Even when she disturbs their lessons they just keep quiet. It's not fun anymore. She used to love teasing the shit out of her teachers, but now she can't do that. Even when she does, she mostly doesn't get any reaction out of it.

When she entered all eyes were on her like always, but this time it was intenser? She saw Nayeon and Sana in the distance and they somehow looked worried and Nayeon couldn't even look at Y/N.

"Unnie, you're in big trouble." Tzuyu approached her.

"Leave me alone, Tzuyu." Y/N replied harshly.

"Look at this." Tzuyu handed her phone and Y/N saw the picture of her and Nayeon kissing. Her heart immediately dropped.

"Where did you get this?"

"Someone posted it. I don't know who." Y/N looked around and everyone was looking at her. She looked in Nayeon's direction and saw that the older girl was panicking. They're screwed. Y/N is starting to get angry. Who the fuck would do this? Did Jungkook do it again? Didn't she beat him up enough? She knew this was going to happen one day but they already broke up so what's the point? Why does this have to happen when they're already broken up?

"Unnie, calm down please." Tzuyu grabbed Y/N's arm. She saw how the girl was breathing heavily and you could practically see fume coming out of her ears. Y/N kept looking around and stopped when she saw Jeongyeon. The two locked eyes and Jeongyeon smirked. Suddenly a bell rang in Y/N's head. She remembered the day in that picture. She went out with Nayeon that day and Jeongyeon had showed up out of nowhere. She must have followed them. Y/N didn't want to jump to conclusions, but the way Jeongyeon smirked confirmed it for her, that she indeed did take that picture.

Y/N is going to burst out in anger, she wants to kill Jeongyeon right here and right now. So she started walking towards the teacher.

"Unnie, where are you going?!" Tzuyu yelled after her but of course the student did not listen.

"She found out didn't she?" Mina and the rest of Y/N's friends approached Tzuyu.

"Yeah, I told her."

Y/N speed walked towards Jeongyeon and the first thing she did when she was in front of her was punch her in the face.

"What the hell??" Jeongyeon yelled as she held her cheek. Nayeon, Sana and Y/N's friends saw the scene happening so they immediately ran towards them.

"You did it didn't you? You fucking did it!" Jeongyeon didn't answer. She started laughing, which made Y/N even more angry. Y/N didn't want to get in trouble but she couldn't control herself so she hit her again making the teacher fall on the floor. Y/N's friends tried to stop her but Y/N was so angry that she pushed and pulled everyone that was trying to get in her way of hurting Ms. Yoo.

"Y/N! Stop!" Nayeon yelled when Y/N continued punching Jeongyeon, but the younger girl didn't stop so Nayeon had to come in between as well. Nayeon tried to hold Y/N's arm but to everyone's surprise Y/N pushed Nayeon harshly and she fell on the floor. Everyone stopped in their tracks. They're all in shock, especially Nayeon. Y/N has hurt a lot of people but the teacher never would've thought that she would be one of them. Y/N is also in shock, one thing she's been telling herself ever since she met Nayeon is that she would never hurt the older girl physically, that she's not even capable of hurting the older girl. But right now she has showed everyone that she is capable of doing it.

Chaeyoung and Mina immediately grabbed Y/N. Tzuyu and Momo helped Ms. Yoo whose nose was bleeding and Dahyun helped Ms. Im get up with Ms. Minatozaki.

"Are you okay?" Jeongyeon asked approaching Nayeon. She doesn't even care about her own condition right now. She knew Y/N was going to hurt Nayeon one day.

"How could you?" Nayeon said weakly. The moment she saw the picture she had guessed that it might be Jeongyeon who did it, but she didn't want to believe it.

"I'm sorry, I had to protect you." Jeongyeon answered. Nayeon's heart broke at hearing those words. She really hoped that Jeongyeon didn't do it, but Ms. Yoo basically admitted doing it.

"The three of you in my office now!" The principal, Ms. Park suddenly yelled, referring to Y/N, Nayeon and Jeongyeon. She didn't see what happened entirely but she heard it from students.

The three followed Jihyo into her office and Jihyo sat down sighing. She doesn't know how she's gonna deal with the situation. It makes it even worse that two of her best friends are involved.

"Unnie, I asked you if you were involved with Y/N. You told me you weren't. Did you lie to me? This picture obviously shows that you are involved with her." Jihyo started.

"Yes. I was involved with her." Nayeon answered. There's no point in lying anymore, they already got caught.

"Y/N why did you hit Ms. Yoo?"

"She's the one that posted that picture." Y/N clenched her fist.

"Jeongyeon, did you do it?"

"Yes. I had to." Jeongyeon replied with all honesty.

"You had to? No you didn't fucking have to!" Y/N started yelling.

"Y/N please, stop." Jihyo interrupted.

"Jeongyeon, go take care of your nose. You're bleeding. I'll talk to you after I'm done talking with these two." With that Jeongyeon nodded and left the room. Nayeon couldn't keep her tears in anymore, so she started crying. She can't believe in what kind of situation she got herself into. She got caught being in a relationship with a student and the one that exposed her is her ex-girlfriend. Who wouldn't feel overwhelmed in this kind of situation?

"First of all, Y/N I'm gonna need to expel you."

"W-w-what?" Y/N stuttered. Nayeon knew this was going to happen the moment she touched Jeongyeon. Y/N got away with many things at this school, but violence towards a teacher will never be one of them.

"You attacked a teacher, Y/N. I ignored whatever you did many times and I gave you many chances. But I'm sorry, I can't ignore it this time. I hate to do this only two months before graduation, but you left me with no choice." Jihyo explained.

"What's going to happen to Ms. Im?" Y/N doesn't really care about getting expelled at this point. The important thing is, what's going to happen to Nayeon?

"I'm not sure. I don't know what I'm going to do or what I have to do. If it were someone else I probably would have fired them by now. If I were the only one that knew about this, I would've ignored it but I can't since everyone saw the picture. The school's reputation is also on the line, so I'm gonna have to think about what to do. I do need you two to break up, you can't keep doing whatever it is that you're doing." Jihyo informed.

"We already broke up a week ago." Nayeon said.

"Ah you did? Okay."

"What will happen to Ms. Yoo, will she face any consequences as well?" Y/N asked.

"Yes, she will. I will deal with her myself." The principal answered. She knows Jeongyeon wanted to protect Nayeon, but the way she did it was very wrong.

"Are you serious right now? You're really asking that?" Nayeon faced Y/N.

"Yeah, if we go down she needs to go down with us." Y/N replied.

"Aish, I can't believe you. You just got expelled and that's the thing you're worrying about?" Nayeon yelled.

"So what if I got expelled? It was bound to happen one day anyways." Y/N raised her voice as well.

"No, it wasn't! You only had two months! Two fucking months, Y/N! Ever since I met you, you've been telling me how much you want to graduate and that graduating is your number one goal. You just threw it all away, because of that anger of yours!" The teacher can't believe how careless Y/N is acting right now. Y/N had her entire future planned out. She was going to graduate and get a full time job. What is she going to do now? Is she not going to graduate at all? Nayeon feels like Y/N is throwing her chances and her potential away.

"Why do you care, huh? We broke up remember? Why do you care about me getting expelled? You should worry about you getting fired! And yes I am angry. I'm fucking angry. How can I not be angry? Your ex-girlfriend basically exposed us to the entire school and it's driving me even more crazy that you're protecting her!" The argument is getting heated and Jihyo is watching them silently. She wanted to interrupt at first, but she knew they wouldn't listen to her at this point anyways.

"I'm not protecting her! Of course I'm mad at her as well! This might cost me my job, but it didn't have to cost anything for you! But because of that anger of yours you got yourself expelled! I'm not even gonna mention how you pushed me. I thought you would never hurt me like that, but I guess I was completely wrong about you." Nayeon said the last sentence weakly.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to push you like that." It's true she didn't mean it. But it happened. There's no way turning back. After Y/N said sorry there was a short silence before she spoke up again.

"This is all your fault." Y/N sighed.

"How is this my fault???" The teacher raised her eyebrows.

"If you had never showed interest in me, this never would've happened! I kept pushing you away, but you kept coming closer. Why, huh? Why! I never even wanted to become your girlfriend because I knew it was risky but you kept saying that you wanted it. And you're blaming me now? For getting myself expelled? It's all your fucking fault! If you had never done that, I probably wouldn't have gotten expelled and your job wouldn't be in danger right now!" Y/N yelled but got slapped by Nayeon as soon as she finished. Nayeon's eyes are teary. She can't believe that the younger girl is blaming her.

"You said that you were completely wrong about me because I pushed you. Then what should I think about you? This is the third time now that you've slapped me. Why is it okay for you to slap me but not okay for me to push you? Is it because I have a gangster background? Is it because I look tougher than most girls?" Y/N started talking calmly right now. She's also tearing up at this point.

"I saw the look of hurt on your face when I pushed you. Don't you think it hurts me when you slap me like that? It does! It fucking does! It hurts my heart to see that you're so mad at me that you can't use words, so you end up slapping me. I know I did many things wrong, I know that I have problems. And I know that I'm a monster. I told you that before we even started dating, didn't I? I always felt like you were trying to control me. You were always pushing me to become a better person and to go to therapy. I just wish you would've let me done that at my own tempo, but you always made me hurry. You never accepted me as I am. You were always trying to change me." When Y/N said that reality suddenly hit Nayeon. She never knew that Y/N felt that way. She does realise that she shouldn't hit the younger girl like that. Nayeon really forgets sometimes that Y/N is only 17...

"Y/N..." Nayeon broke down before she even could say what she wanted to say. At the sight of seeing Nayeon break down Y/N also started crying. Jihyo feels bad for both the girls. She can really see how much they love each other. At times like this she really wishes that she wasn't a principal.

"Why didn't you tell me that you feel that way? Why, huh? Why?" Nayeon yelled.

"How could I?? The only thing I wanted to do, was make you happy. I saw how happy it made you that I was going to therapy and how I started to become a better person and I also saw how sad it made you when I did wrong things. So I tried to become a better person very fast, but it was too fast! I can't handle it, okay? I'm sorry that I disappoint you. I am a huge disappointment, and I always will be a hug disappointment. I knew I never deserved you in the first place." Y/N wiped her tears that kept falling.

"Y/N, don't say that please."

"I should go now. Goodbye, Ms. Park. Thank you for everything. And goodbye Nayeon unnie. I think it's best if we don't keep in contact anymore. I won't contact you and I won't bother you. Take care." Y/N said and went towards the door opening it but before she left she turned around and said one last thing that made the older girl break down completely.

"I promise that I will become a person that you deserve. I don't know when that will be. But when I become a person that you deserve, I will come back to you. I hope you'll wait for me." With that the student left the room and ran outside ignoring all the stares.

Nayeon broke down on her knees and cried heavily. Jihyo immediately stood up and hugged her friend.

"It'll be okay, unnie." Jihyo hugged the crying woman.

"It hurts so much."

"I know. I know." Jihyo has never seen Nayeon like this. Nayeon isn't the type of girl that cries easily. Even after her break up with Jeongyeon, she acted like everything was okay and hid her emotions. Jihyo can see how much Y/N means to Nayeon.

Y/N ran outside as fast as she could. She found a bench and sat on it holding her head between her hands. She couldn't keep her tears inside, so she cried in the middle of the street. Minju saw her in the distance and decided to approach her. She knows Y/N is hurting and she also knows why she's hurting.

"Unnie, are you okay?" Minju said sitting next to her. Y/N didn't answer and just cried on Minju's shoulder. Minju just let her cry. There's nothing she can do right now, except for giving her a shoulder to cry on.

Jeongyeon saw Y/N leaving the office, so she decided to go in. She does feel bad for what she did, but she had to protect Nayeon from Y/N somehow. When she entered the office she saw Nayeon and Jihyo on the floor, Nayeon crying and Jihyo comforting her.

"Unnie, a-are you okay?" Jeongyeon asked weakly. Upon hearing that Nayeon stood up and wiped her tears.

"How could you Jeongyeon? How could you?!"

"I already said why I did it."

"You didn't fucking have to! We already broke up a week ago! This was so not necessary!" Nayeon yelled. Jeongyeon didn't even know they broke up. If she knew, she wouldn't have done this.

"Look what you've done! You got Y/N expelled and I'm probably gonna lose my job! I know that you don't like Y/N and that you want her gone, but didn't you at least think about me and what would happen to me if this comes out?" This is definitely the worst thing that Jeongyeon has ever done to Nayeon.

"I'm sorry. I really am."

"I don't need you to protect me! I can protect myself, okay? I already told you to not interfere with my fucking life, but you never listen. You never fucking listen! I never want to see you again, Jeongyeon. Stay away from me." And with that Nayeon left the office as well. She hates Jeongyeon for doing this.
