Chapter 31

The next day Y/N woke up by the sound of her alarm. When she opened her eyes she realized that Nayeon was cuddling her in her sleep. So fucking cute.

"Babe, wake up." Y/N said weakly, caressing her girlfriend's hair.

"Hmm, I don't wanna." Nayeon pouted.

"You have to. You need to go to school to teach some annoying students." Y/N chuckled.

"Don't call my students annoying and for your information you're my most annoying student." Nayeon said as she got out of bed.

"Yah unnie, why are you always so mean in the morning?" Nayeon is definitely not a morning person.

"Sorry baby, will this make it better?" Nayeon asked as she approached the younger and kissed her cheek..

"Yes. That makes everything better." Y/N smiled. They both stood up and Y/N went to the bathroom first and Nayeon followed next. When Nayeon left the bathroom she saw Y/N changing. She gotta admit Y/N looks very hot in that school uniform.

"Why are you staring like that?" Y/N asked when she noticed that Nayeon was out of the bathroom.

"You just look very good in that uniform." Nayeon approached and held Y/N's collar.

"Hmm, do I?"

"Yes." The teacher answered as she tied Y/N's tie and then pulled her into a kiss. The kiss didn't last long since they don't have much time left. When both of them were ready they went to the kitchen and saw Tiffany making breakfast.

"Ahh, it smells so good." Nayeon exclaimed as she inhaled the smell.

"I can guarantee that it tastes good as well. Here it's ready, let's eat." Tiffany smiled and the three of them sat down to eat kimchi pancakes. While they were eating Y/N's phone rang and Y/N picked it up seeing that it was Taehyung who's calling.

"Yes, oppa?" Y/N answered.

"Y/N, you became a part of our gang and didn't tell me?"

"What? I never became a part of your gang." Y/N answered and Nayeon and Tiffany both looked at her.

"Apparently some members read an article that said that you're part of the gang so I've been getting a lot of questions." Y/N sighed. So people outside of school read it too?

"It's not true oppa. You know very well that I'm not part of that gang."

"I'm relieved. I thought you became a member without telling me, I was hurt." Taehyung laughed.

"That will never happen." Y/N shook her head.

"Ah c'mon why not? People already think that you're a part, so why don't you just join us, Y/N-ah? That will make all the members happy, especially me and Sana." When Taehyung said Sana's name Y/N suddenly raised her eyebrows. Nayeon is right next to her. Let's hope that she didn't hear the mention of Sana's name.

"We'll talk about this later, oppa. I need to go now."

"Alright, take care Y/N-ie. Also come visit me, I haven't seen you ever since you saved Sana." When is he gonna stop saying Sana's name?

"Bye, Taehyung oppaaa." With that Y/N hung up. Her heart started beating faster because of the possibility that Nayeon heard Sana's name.

"What was that about?" Nayeon asked.

"Apparently people from outside have read the article as well, so the gang members actually thought that I became part of that gang." Y/N explained.

"Why did Taehyung mention Sana?" Fuck. She heard.

"Sana? Why would he mention Sana? You probably heard wrong." Y/N acted clueless.

"Anyways we should go to school now. Bye Tiffany unnie." Y/N suddenly stood up not giving Nayeon the chance to ask any more questions.

Y/N and Nayeon went to school separately like always. Y/N's friends texted her that they're waiting in front of the school. The upcoming weeks are going to be hard for Y/N, so her friends decided that they shouldn't leave her alone.

"Why are you all waiting here for me? You could also wait inside you know?" Y/N said as she approached her friends.

"You're scared that I'm gonna do something right?" Y/N is not dumb. She knows her friend's intentions. Their intentions are to stop Y/N from getting into trouble.

"No, of course not." Chaeyoung lied.

"Yes." Tzuyu answered. If you want the truth, just ask Tzuyu.

"Yah, I'm not gonna do anything."

"Still, we want to be by your side. A lot of people will be challenging you." Momo said.

"Thanks for your concern, but I think I can handle it."

What their friends said was true, people kept staring at Y/N and they were whispering things among theirselves but whenever Y/N looked at them, they ran away. Everyone goes away when Y/N is close, they're all scared of her and even though Y/N appreciates them keeping their distance, she hates how they think that she's a gangster.

During lunch break Y/N didn't want to go to the cafeteria because she just feels uncomfortable with all the stares. So she went to the place where she always goes whenever she's in deep thought at school or whenever she's angry and she needs to calm down. She sat there for about 10 minutes when someone suddenly came and sat down next to her. Y/N looked next to her to see that it was Minju.

"Aren't you scared of being next to me?" Y/N questioned.

"No, why would I be scared?"

"Because everyone else is. Don't you think I'm a gangster and that I'm gonna hurt you?"

"No, I heard what you said yesterday and I believe you. If you say you aren't then you aren't. Besides I know you wouldn't hurt me." Minju informed.

"How do you know that? Maybe I will."

"Because I know you and I believe you wouldn't." Minju smiled weakly and silence overtook them.

"This is why you broke it off with me didn't you? Because of who I am and who you are." Y/N was taken aback by Minju's question.

"Why does it matter? It's all in the past anyways." Y/N tried to shrug it off.

"I just want to know. I always wondered why you left me so suddenly." Minju has been thinking about it ever since Y/N stopped talking to her. It never made sense to her, but now she can somewhat guess why Y/N did what she did.

"Yes. You and I we're too different. You're rich, I'm poor. You have a high status, I don't. I always felt like I was bringing you down. I also didn't want to put you in any danger because I know how your family hates my family. Us being together would have caused many problems. And to be honest I always thought that you would leave me if you found out who I really am, so I decided to leave you first." Y/N explained.

"Unnie, you know that I wouldn't have cared about your financial situation and your family. I just wish you would've talked to me about all of it. I'm sure we would've found a solution. But I guess it's too late for that now."

"It's better like this Minju. I want you to be safe and you're safe without me." Minju just nodded, it's nice to see that Y/N still cares about her.

"You shouldn't be sitting here with me. They're going to hate on you as well just because you're sitting with me and it might affect your reputation."

"I really don't care about my reputation, unnie. I've tried years building up a reputation because my parents forced me to, but now I see that it's all for nothing." It was all for nothing. She lost Y/N because of that stupid reputation.

"Can I ask you a question?" Y/N suddenly asked as she looked at Minju.

"Of course."

"Imagine that you're in my shoes and you have someone you like but you know that it's dangerous for her to be with you and you also know that no one would support your relationship. What would you do?" Truth is ever since Nayeon talked about her family, Y/N's been thinking about their relationship a lot. Nayeon deserves so much better than her yet she's wasting her time with the student.

"You're talking about Ms. Im aren't you?" Y/N just looked down without answering.

"Don't do the same thing to her as you did to me. Talk to her, I'm sure you'll find a solution."

"There is no solution to this problem. I'm toxic. Not only to her but to everyone else around me. The problem lies with me, not with her. I know I'm going to hurt her more than I already have, even though it's not my intention." She knows she's going to hurt her because of those fucking voices in her head that keep telling her to do shit that she doesn't want to do.

"For once don't think about people around you, but think about yourself. You know it's funny how everyone thinks you're selfish but you actually care about people more than you do about yourself." Y/N is actually very selfish but when it comes to people that she loves, she's not.

"Yah, who said I'm selfish?" Y/N raised her eyebrows.

"Everyone." Minju laughed and Y/N joined her eventually.

"I miss hanging out with you." Minju suddenly confessed.

"Me too."

"Can we be friends at least? I miss having you around."

"I guess we could try being friends yeah."

"Perfect." Minju smiled.

"We should go back inside, class is about to start." Minju suggested so both of them stood up and made their ways to their classes. Minju didn't leave Y/N's side and that caused people to stare at them more than they already did.

"Unnie, where were you? I was looking for you." Mina suddenly came running.

"Why? What's going on?"

"They wrote something about you again." Are you fucking serious? What did they write again? Y/N thought to herself.

"Let me see." Y/N demanded and Mina handed her phone so that Y/N could read what was written.

I heard that some of you don't believe that Y/N is a gangster because she denied it the other day. But I have proof that she is. Look at these pictures. These are pictures of her hanging out with her gang members and on the last picture you can see a tattoo on her ankle of a weird sign. That sign is the signature sign of Choi Minho's gang. Only members of that gang have this tattoo. I still don't know why Y/N hasn't been thrown out of this school. She's a walking danger. She needs to leave.

Y/N clenched her fist when she read the article. How do they have these pictures? Was someone stalking her? She always hides her tattoo, no one has ever seen it. How did this person manage to take a picture of it?

"Unnie, are you okay?" Minju asked when she noticed that Y/N started breathing heavily. Y/N didn't answer and just ran away.

"Y/N! Where are you going?" Mina yelled after her but of course with no response.

"I think she's going to the principal office." Minju said when she saw Y/N running into that direction.

Y/N did indeed go to Ms. Park's office. She didn't even bother to knock and just stormed inside.

"Y/N, don't you know how to knock? You can't just storm inside like this." Jihyo scolded her. Jeongyeon was also inside of the office. And of course she's enjoying this sight of Y/N.

"You told me you were going to handle it, yet they posted another fucking article." Y/N yelled.

"I really don't know how they got access to it. It's very weird, this person is a professional hacker." Jihyo sighed.

"I can see you won't be of any help, so I'll just deal with this myself." Y/N said as she slammed the door and left the office.

"Y/N!" Jihyo shouted but Y/N already left.

"Ah, what am I going to do with her? She's going to cause trouble, or even worse she's gonna hurt someone." Jihyo worried.

"Why don't you just expel her? Why are you keeping a gangster at this school?" Jeongyeon asked.

"Because she's not. Besides she's almost going to graduate, I don't want to expel her a few months before graduation. She's also been behaving lately, it would be wrong to expel her when she didn't do anything wrong."

"I can't believe that you and Nayeon keep defending her. She's dangerous. What are you waiting for? Are you waiting for the day that she hurts someone?" Jeongyeon raised her voice. She's really frustrated right now.

When Y/N stormed out of the office Nayeon saw her. Everyone was already in class so Y/N was the only one in the hallways. She was about to approach the younger but Y/N suddenly got pulled into a classroom by someone. Nayeon couldn't really see who it was so she went closer to the classroom and heard Sana's voice. What are they talking about? Nayeon went even closer and started eavesdropping unintentionally.

"What the fuck is your problem?" Y/N yelled when Sana pulled her into the classroom.

"My problem is those articles! We need to find out who's doing this."

"Why do you care?" This is Y/N's problem, not Sana's. So why does she care?

"Y/N look at it. The person who did this, has clearly been stalking you. So if they know about you then there's also a chance that they know about me. I can't take the risk of them writing about me as well." Sana explained.

"Know what?" Nayeon whispered to herself.

"I don't even get why you're a teacher when you actually already have a job. It doesn't make fucking sense that you're here in the first place." Y/N said and at that moment Nayeon decided to interrupt.

"What are you talking about?" Nayeon asked.

"Shit." Y/N mumbled.

"Unnie, euhm nothing. We we're talking about nothing." Sana stressed.

"Stop fucking lying to me! I'm sick of  both of you lying to me. I'm not stupid, I know you're hiding things from me. Why the fuck won't you tell me?" Nayeon raised her voice.

"Y/N, we should tell her." Sana suggested but Y/N shook her head.

"No, we're not telling her."

"Are you serious? I thought we were being honest with each other, how can you not tell me?" Nayeon really thought that there were no secrets in their relationship, but apparently there are.

"Y/N, she's going to find out one day anyways. It's best if she hears it from us."

"Fine, tell her then." Y/N sighed and locked the door making sure that no one was around.

"I'm listening." Nayeon crossed her arms. Let's see what their secret is.

"I'm part of Y/N's father's gang." Sana confessed. Nayeon was shocked. To say that she didn't expect this at all, is an understatement.

"Wait, what? Are you a gangster?" Nayeon frowned.

"Yes, I am. Both my parents are part of the gang, so I decided to become part of it as well." Ms. Minatozaki is actually relieved that she could finally tell Nayeon about it.

"Is that why you hate her? Because she's part of your father's gang?" Ms. Im asked her student.

"No, that's not the reason. She betrayed me, that's why I hate her."

"What do you mean?"

"Mr. Choi found out that one of his members is Y/N's teacher so he asked me to get close to her so that I could keep an eye on her. The two of us got close pretty fast, a bit too close but Y/N eventually found out that I was working for her dad." Sana explained. Nayeon is really confused. What does she mean by a "bit too close"?

"What do you mean? Were you two... a thing?" Nayeon whispered the last part. Y/N didn't answer her question and Sana just nodded weakly.

"It's not what you think, unnie." Sana tried to defend.

"It's not what I think?? I can't believe you hid this from me! I can understand why you didn't tell me about being a gangster but how could you not tell me about your past?? My best friend and girlfriend had a fucking past and I'm finding out about it just now?" Nayeon doesn't know what she's feeling right now. She's sad and angry at the same time.

"Don't overreact, it's all in the past anyways." Y/N said and Nayeon suddenly slapped the younger girl making Sana's mouth widen.

"The fuck was that for?" Y/N yelled as she held her cheek. It stings a lot.

"I can't believe that you didn't want to tell me about this. I fucking trusted you with all my heart. I've asked you multiple times about Sana and you always lied to me." Nayeon hit Y/N's shoulder as her eyes got teary. Y/N didn't answer, she just kept silent. Nayeon asked her multiple times why she hates Sana, but Y/N always lied about it. The student also told her that she only dated Minju in the past, which was also a lie.

"And that tattoo. You told me that it didn't have any meaning when I asked you. You fucking lied about that too!" Nayeon finally let her tears flow. She's dissapointed in Y/N. Why did she lie to her?

"Unnie..." Y/N tried to comfort her but Nayeon jerked the younger's arm away.

"Don't. What else have you been lying about? Are you lying about not being a member as well??"

"No. I'm not a gang member, I promise unnie. Please just hear me out." Y/N pleaded.

"I have nothing to say to you." With that the older girl left the classroom. Tears flowing down her face.

"This is all your fault! Why did you fucking tell her?" Y/N yelled at Sana.

"How is this my fault?? If you had let me tell her before than this wouldn't have happene!  Can't you see why she's sad? She's not sad because we had a past but she's sad because you lied to her! She feels betrayed, just the same way how you felt when I lied to you!"

"Get your shit together, Y/N. And fix the mess you made." With that Sana left rhe room as well.

"Aaaah." Y/N shouted and hit the table next to her. Why is life challenging her so badly right now?
