Chapter 30

Y/N walked into school with Mina, but something was feeling off. Everyone was staring at them and whispers were heard. Y/N didn't pay much attention at first since it's been like this ever since the rumors about her and Nayeon started, but the rumors had already cooled down and people stopped talking about it. It seems like something else is going on.

"Why are people staring at us? Did you do something?" Mina whispered to Y/N.

"No. At least I don't think so." Y/N really has no idea what's happening. They just kept walking until they reached their group of friends. They were busy talking about something but they stopped as soon as the two arrived.

"Why are you guys looking at me like that?" Y/N asked when she noticed that the girls were looking at her with worry.

"You didn't read?" Chaeyoung asked as she held Mina's hand and kissed her cheek.

"Read what?" Mina asked. It looks like she and Y/N are the only ones that have no clue about what's going on.

"Someone posted an article about you on the school website." Dahyun said and handed her phone to Y/N so that she could read. Chaeyoung also handed her phone to Mina so that she'll know what's going on as well.

Recently I found out that the popular student Choi Y/N is not who we think she is. First of all we all thought that she was some spoiled rich girl because of her attitude but apparently she's not rich at all. You all might know Y/N's father. He is one of the most known gangsters in the city. His name is Choi Minho. He's been on the news multiple times in the past years for killing people, abusing people, harassing women, selling drugs and many more. Right now he's in prison for killing someone with his bare hands. That man is a psychopath and his daughter is going to the same school as ours. No wonder why Y/N is so aggressive, violent and rude all the time. She looks after her father. She's a psychopath and a gangster just like him. We aren't safe going to the same school as her. Who knows what she'll do to us? Do you really want to go to the same school as someone who's a gangster? She needs to leave this school. It's best for our safety.

"Who the fuck wrote this?" Y/N asked her friends as she clenched her fists.

"We don't know. It's anonymous, but it's a student for sure." Momo answered.

"What are you looking at??" Y/N yelled at the students who kept staring at her. Of course they got scared and looked the other way.

"Who the fuck wrote this!?" Y/N started yelling and going around asking students about who wrote it. They all just shook their heads and told her that they don't know.

"Y/N please don't cause a scene." Mina said as she held Y/N's arm trying to calm her down.

"How can I not?? I'm not a fucking gangster, I'm not like him!"

"We know, unnie. But if you get mad right now, than they will believe that article even more. You need to stay calm." Tzuyu is right, but how can she calm down? She's been trying to hide her identity for years and now it's suddenly revealed to the entire school only a couple of months before graduation.

"Choi Y/N to the principal office. Choi Y/N to the principal office." The announcer suddenly said.

"Great, fucking great." Y/N said as she left her friends and went to Ms. Park's office. The door was open so she just walked in.

"Oh Y/N you're here. Can you close the door?" Jihyo asked and Y/N did what she was told.

"I'm guessing from your appearance that you read the article?"

"Yeah, I fucking did." Y/N never expected this to happen. She doesn't know what to do.

"You told me that you weren't a part of your father's gang. Did you lie?" Jihyo knows about Y/N's family. When Y/N came to this school she asked her if she was a part of the gang but Y/N of course told her that she wasn't, because she's not.

"Are you serious Ms. Park?? What that article says is not true! I already told you back then that I am not part of that gang and that I have nothing to do with my father."

"I just had to check, Y/N. Don't get mad."

"How can I not get mad? How did that student even release the article on the school website? I thought students had no access to it?" Y/N raised her voice.

"They don't. We already took it down." The first thing Jihyo did when she saw that article was taking it down, but it was too late.

"So what if you did? Everyone already read it and I'm sure many screenshots were taken." Y/N started breathing heavily again. She's gonna find whoever did this and she's going to make them pay.

"We will investigate who did this and how they got access to the school website. For now I just need you to stay calm and act like nothing happened." Y/N laughed. Is Ms. Park serious?

"You really think that I'm going to act like nothing happened? It will probably take you weeks until you find out who did this. I'm gonna find that person myself and I'll deal with him or her myself."

"Y/N no, you're not doing that. Just leave it to me. Go home for today, I don't want you to go to class."

"Why? Do you think I'm going to get violent? Do you also think it's not safe for me to be walking around here?" Y/N got closer to Jihyo's desk and put her hand on top of the desk leaning on it.

"No, you know very well that I don't think about you like that. I believed you when you told me you weren't a part of that gang and I still believe you but I can see how angry you are right now and I don't want you to get yourself in trouble a couple of months before graduation. Please Y/N just don't cause trouble, it's only a couple of months." Y/N is very lucky that Jihyo is the principal. Another principal would've already kicked her out years ago, but Jihyo stood by Y/N's side.

"Why is everyone after me?" Y/N sighed as she sat down on the chair in front of the principal's desk. "Everyone keeps challenging me. It's like they're waiting for me to make a mistake so that they can benefit from it. This keeps happening, how am I supposed to endure all of this?"

"That's why you shouldn't get angry. Don't let them get to you Choi Y/N. If you do that you're basically letting them win. I know you're angry and I know you have trouble controlling it, that's why you burst out. But i've heard that you're going to therapy That's already a huge step for you."

"For now, I want you to go home. You can come back tomorrow. Please, Y/N please don't cause trouble okay?" Y/N just nodded and stood up leaving the office. When she left the office she saw Momo and Chaeyoung standing there.

"Why are you two here?" Y/N asked when she saw them.

"We wanted to make sure you're okay. What did Ms. Park say? Do they know who did it?" Chaeyoung asked and all students were looking at them.

"No, they don't. Ms. Park told me to go home, so I'm going now." Y/N wanted to leave as fast as possible ignoring all those stares, but of course someone had to interrupt.

"Choi Y/N." Y/N turned around to see Ms. Yoo. Not this again.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"Home. I got permission from Ms. Park so I'm going home." With that Y/N tried to leave but the teacher decided to continue the conversation.

"Did you get permission to go home or to go to that gang of yours?" Y/N chuckled. She knew Jeongyeon was going to pull something like that. Right at that moment Nayeon arrived and saw the scene happening a bit further from her. Nayeon only read the article 5 minutes ago. She was pretty late compared to all the rest.

"I'm not a part of that gang. I'm going to say this once and for all so everybody listen carefully." Y/N said as she diverted her attention to everyone around her.

"Yes, my dad is Choi Minho. He's a gangster, but I'm not. I haven't been in touch with him for 7 years and I have no relationship with his gang. So just shut the fuck up and stop saying I'm a gangster because I'm not." Y/N informed.

"How are we supposed to believe you? With your attitude it's impossible to not be a gangster. I mean look at you, you're pathetic." Jeongyeon smiled and Y/N clenched her fists. If it wasn't for Chaeyoung and Momo holding her wrists she would've already punched that bitch.

"Ms. Yoo stop it. And everybody go to your class, there's nothing to see here." Nayeon suddenly interrupted. She doesn't want to add to the rumors, but they way she talks about Y/N annoys the shit out of her. Y/N didn't say anything and just ran away. Seulgi told her that if she can't  control her anger that she should just leave the situation. Nayeon was worried, she wanted to go after her, but how can she do that when everybody is looking at her? Momo and Chaeyoung saw the worry on Nayeon's face so they decided to go after Y/N, which Nayeon was very thankful for.

"Can we talk in my office please?" Nayeon asked Jeongyeon. Ms. Yoo agreed and they went to her office.

"Why did you have to do that? Do you really enjoy making her mad?" Nayeon asked.

"Yeah, I do. I knew something was wrong with her, but I never would've guessed that she's a gangster."

"Stop it, Jeongyeon. She's not a gangster. She's been through a lot, so stop judging her." Nayeon hates how everyone keeps judging her girlfriend like that. They don't know what she went through, so they should just shut the fuck up.

"You seem like you already knew about all of this huh?"

"Yes, I did. Just like how most teachers here do. Jihyo and Sana know as well."

"Yet, you're the only one defending her." Jeongyeon crossed her arms.

"It's because I know what she went through. I know that she's not like that."

"Unnie, stop being delusional. Do you know who Choi Minho is? Haven't you heard how dangerous that man is? She's his daughter for fuck's sake. Stop being so close to her, it's dangerous for you. You're not safe around her. She'll hurt you, unnie." Truth is, Jeongyeon is worried. She's worried that Nayeon is going to get involved with Y/N's mess.

"Cut the bullshit Jeongyeon and don't tell me what to do. I'm going to warn you only once, leave that kid alone, yeah?" Nayeon glared.

"I can't believe how blinded you are by love. You'll understand what I'm saying when she hurts you, but that will be too late."

"She'll never hurt me. Besides I don't mind being blinded by love. I was also blinded by love when I was with you, but I managed to open my eyes. So if Y/N is that bad of a person, I'll find it out myself. Don't tell me what to do or what do think about her." With that Nayeon left the office.

Y/N went home after she left school. She wants to find out who the fuck wrote that article, but how is she going to find out? Should she hack the school system? She's done it before, so why not? But there's also the risk of her getting caught and then she'll get expelled for sure, so maybe it isn't the most smart thing to do.

"Why are you home? Did you get in trouble?" Tiffany asked when she came back from work and saw Y/N eating ramyeon in the kitchen.

"No. Read this, someone posted this today on the school website." Y/N sighed as she handed her phone to her guardian. Tiffany has been giving Y/N great advice ever since she became her guardian. Y/N really didn't want to like the older woman, but weirdly she does. Not in a romantic way of course.

"What the hell. Who wrote this?"

"I have no idea. The principal said that they will investigate, but I'm 100% sure they won't find anything." The person that posted it is definitely someone smart so it won't be easy to find him/her.

"Is that why you're home?"

"Yeah, Ms. Park wanted me to go home for today since things are hectic there and also I can't seem to control my anger there. Everyone is fucking scared of me."

"I'm sorry that this happened. I know how hard you tried to hide your identity, but don't let them get to you. You have only a couple months left, so try ignoring it." She's basically saying the same things as Jihyo did.

"How can I ignore it when they're all staring at me like I'm some kind of murderer?" Y/N sighed.

"Try to show them that you're not like that. Prove them wrong." Tiffany adviced.

"How am I supposed to do that?"

"Try being nice. And maybe less angry and violent?" Y/N laughed. It's impossible.

"Yah, don't laugh. I'm serious." Tiffany scolded the younger.

"I'll be at the balcony. I need some fresh air." Y/N said as she put her plate in the sink and went to the balcony. It's already dark and she can see the beautiful stars in the sky.

The door suddenly rang and Tiffany went to open it. She thought that it was Yuri but to her surprise it was Nayeon.

"Oh Nayeon-ssi. Come in." The guardian widened the door for her to enter.

"Is Y/N here?" Nayeon was super worried all day. She didn't have the chance to talk to her at school and she also couldn't leave because she had classes.

"Yeah, she's at the balcony."

"How is she doing?"

"Okay, I think. I can see she's very affected by it, so I think she really needs you right now." The older patted Nayeon's shoulder and with that Nayeon went to the balcony. She saw Y/N looking at the stars and she loved the view. The view was amazing, but her girlfriend looked even more amazing.

"Y/N?" Nayeon slowly approached.

"Oh unnie. What are you doing here?"

"Can't I visit my girlfriend?" The teacher raised her eyebrows.

"Of course you can." Y/N pecked Nayeon's lips.

"Are you okay?"

"I guess so. I don't know what I'm feeling right now. It's like I'm angry but I'm also sad and disappointed. My whole life I've tried hiding who I really am and just with one article suddenly everything is revealed."

"Babe, don't let them get to you. Someone is really trying to bring you down. But I need you to fight your anger and your emotions and stay calm, okay?" Nayeon held Y/N's hand.

"I'm trying but the voices in my head keep saying that I should find him and fucking kill him."

"Look at me." Nayeon suddenly said and cupped Y/N's face.

"You're better than that. Fight against those voices. What will you achieve when you find him and hurt him? It's already out there. You can't change anything about it." Y/N sighed and intertwined her hands with Nayeon's.

"I know but I won't be able to sleep until I find him or her, who ever the fuck did this. Even though most things are revealed about me now, not everything is revealed. What if that person finds out about us and writes about us as well huh? I don't care about people knowing that I come from a gangster family. The only thing that I want to protect in this world is you."

"Aish don't talk like that, you're making me emotional. What did I do to deserve you?" Nayeon smiled.

"It's the other way around unnie. What did I do to deserve you?" Y/N pulled Nayeon closer and leaned in slowly kissing the older's lips. Nayeon wrapped her arms around Y/N's neck and went even closer to the younger. The kiss got heated very fast and it soon turned into making out. Nayeon suddenly pushed Y/N harshly to the chair behind her and sat on the younger's lap continuing to make out. Y/N really loves how Nayeon is so aggressive whenever they're making out or having sex. It turns her on very much.

"Aah, my eyes!" Tiffany suddenly yelled when she saw the two making out. Nayeon immediately left Y/N's lap and stood up.

"Yah, unnie why are you interrupting?" Y/N pouted.

"I didn't know you guys were having sex on my fucking balcony!"

"Yah, we weren't having sex." Y/N denied. Well, they weren't. Not yet at least.

"I don't care what you were doing, but please don't do it on the balcony. The neighbours might see and think that it's me." Tiffany pleaded. Nayeon turned red out of embarrassment.

"Fine we won't do it anymore." Y/N chuckled.

"I actually wanted to ask if you want to stay over Nayeon-ssi? It's pretty late and I bet you missed this kid over here." Tiffany said gesturing to Y/N.

"Oh no,no, it's okay." Nayeon did miss Y/N a lot, but she doesn't want to disturb her guardian.

"Why? Unnie stay please. I want you to stay." Y/N looked at her with pleading eyes which melted Nayeon's heart.

"Okay, if you want me too."

"Yeeeessss." Y/N said and tilted Nayeon up turning her around.

"Yah! Put me down!" Nayeon hit the younger's shoulder. Tiffany just watched them in aww. They're so cute.

"I fucking hate when you do that." Nayeon confessed when the student put her down.

"Stop lying, I know you like it." Y/N smirked.

"You're so fucking childish sometimes." The older smiled weakly.

"Yah, if you don't like it, then go to someone whose older." Y/N joked.

"I might as well do that."

"Then do it. What are you waiting for?"

"I'm waiting for someone hot to ask me out." Nayeon answered.

"Then you'll wait for long. You won't find better than me."

"I bet I will find someone whose less childish."

"Naaah, you won't." Y/N denied.

"Yes, I will." Nayeon said proudly.

"No, you won't." Y/N said mimicking Nayeon and of course Nayeon hit Y/N's arm when she did that.

"Yah stop bickering! Both of you are so childish, go to your room now!" With that the two obeyed and went to Y/N's room. Nayeon and Y/N bicker and tease each other very often. It's part of their relationship and it's also the thing that makes their relationship interesting.
