Chapter 27

Y/N went back to Nayeon's place after she left Taehyung's place. She tried to open the door slowly since it's already 3am and Nayeon is probably sleeping. She walked in tiptoeing but to her surprise Nayeon was awake and was walking around the living room.

"Where the fuck were you?" Nayeon yelled and hit Y/N's arm. She was very worried, she kept calling the younger but Y/N didn't pick up.

"Awtch, I told you that I was at Chaeyoung's place." Y/N is scared. Nayeon can be very intimidating when she's mad.

"Until 3am?? I called you a 1000 times why didn't you pick up?" At times like these Nayeon remembers that Y/N is still a teenager and that she shouldn't scold her that much but the younger really gives her no choice.

"I didn't check my phone. I was too occupied, I'm sorry."

"Aish, I can't believe you. Why do you love to make me so worried about you? Do you like to see me like this? It looks like you don't even fucking care that I've been worrying for hours." Nayeon started crying. She doesn't even know why she's crying. She's feeling so overwelmed knowing that Y/N comes from a gangster family and that she could be in danger scares Nayeon. What if something bad happens to her? What is she gonna do? On the other hand Y/N feels very sorry, especially after hearing her girlfriend's words.

"No, no. I'm really sorry, I didn't think that you would worry this much. I'm really sorry." Y/N immediately pulled her girlfriend into a tight hug.

"You always fucking do this!" Nayeon hit the girl's shoulder but the girl didn't pull away.

"I won't do it anymore, okay?"

"You don't get it! I'm scared Y/N, I don't wanna get a call one day saying that you're in the hospital or even worse. You're not careful and you go out at night, which is driving me crazy. Why would you do that when you know there's a fucking gang after you? How could you be so careless?" Nayeon asked pulling herself away from Y/N's embrace.

"You're right. I won't be so careless anymore and I won't go out at night, okay? I hate to see you like this. Please don't cry." Y/N wiped her girlfriend's tears looking at her beautiful face.

"I've never worried for anyone this much in my entire life." Nayeon admitted.

"Thank you for caring about me, unnie. I really love you, like I love you a lot." Y/N cupped her girlfriend's face.

"I love you too even though you're fucking stupid." The older smiled weakly. Y/N pulled the girl closer and put her lips on Nayeon's as she kissed her slowly, trying to show her how sorry she is. When they pulled away Nayeon rested her forehead on Y/N's.

"Do I scold you too much?"

"No, scold me as much as you want. I need it. It helps a lot." Y/N smiled and pulled Nayeon into the bedroom. It's 3.30am, they both need sleep.

"Y/N is hereeee!" Chaeyoung yelled as she opened the door for Y/N to enter. Her group of friends decided to hang out at Momo's place. Like always Y/N is the last one to come since she had work.

"Finally, where were you?" Dahyun asked when Y/N entered.

"I told you that I have work."

"Who knew Y/N unnie would be so hardworking?" Tzuyu smirked.

"Shut the fuck up, Tzuyu. I'll kill you." Y/N threatened her.

"Nah, you won't. You're a nice person now aren't you?"

"Yah! I'm trying to be nice to you but you keep teasing me about it. Do you want me to act like before?" Ever since Y/N told her friends about her situation they became closer. Her friends support her a lot, which means a lot to her.

"Oh no hell no, please no." Mina shook her head. She doesn't want Y/N to be more of an asshole than she already is.

"Y/N will you stay over? Dahyun and Chaeyoung are staying." Momo asked.

"What about you two?" Y/N asked Mina and Tzuyu.

"We have family dinners." They both said.

"I can't. Nayeon unnie will be worried." She already made her girlfriend worry too much, she doesn't want to add to that.

"Nayeon unnie? Omo, you're calling her unnie now? Where's seongsaengnim?" Chaeyoung widened her eyes.

"I've been staying with her for a while now so she told me to call her unnie."

"Cuuuuteee." They all cheered, except for Tzuyu, she never cheers. Y/N just glared at them.

"How long will you be staying with her though? They still haven't found you a guardian?" Mina asked.

"Actually I got a call before I came here. They found me a new guardian, I'm going to talk to her tomorrow. If it all goes well she'll be my new guardian."

"Does that mean you'll live with her?" Momo asked.

"Yeah, that's the plan. I can't stay with Ms. Im forever, especially not with those rumors going around." The rumors about the two still didn't stop which is annoying the shit out of Y/N.

"Aaah, so that's why you don't want to stay over here. It'll be your last night with Ms. Im. Make the most out of it, unnie!" Chaeyoung teased.

"Yah, why would I even care if it's my last night with her?"

"Don't act like you don't care, it's obvious that you're sad that you need to leave her place." Tzuyu answered.

"No, I'm not. Why do you guys interfere with my life so much aish."

"Don't worry Y/N you're not the only one that likes a teacher, we have Dahyunie here as well." Momo said patting Dahyun's shoulder.

"What do you mean me as well?"

"We all know your little secret with Ms. Minatozaki, Dubu unnie. You've been in love with her for years." Tzuyu said and they all chuckled.

"I admit that I like her, okay? But she's my teacher, it's not like she'll like me back so just shut up about it." Dahyun's really annoyed with how they keep teasing her. She knows now how Y/N feels all the time.

"She really seems into you though plus she keeps flirting with you." Chaeyoung said.

"She's just a flirty person. That doesn't really mean anything." Y/N interrupted.

"How do you know?" Mina asked.

"I just heard that she's flirty with a lot of people." She didn't hear. She knows. Sana is just naturally clingy and flirty, Y/N was always jealous because of that.

"Just go for it, who cares if she's a teacher. Besides we're almost graduating, it won't matter that she's your teacher in a couple of months." Momo suggested.

"I just don't want to make it awkward. Maybe later on, I don't know." Dahyun just shrugged it off hoping they would end the conversation, which they did. Y/N knows about Dahyun's crush on Sana for a while now. She actually knew it before she and Sana became "a thing" and she felt very bad about it. Dahyun would be heartbroken when she finds out that Y/N had been fooling around with Sana knowing that Dahyun has a crush on her.

Even though Y/N doesn't have feelings for Sana anymore, she doesn't want Dahyun to get involved with the teacher because Sana is a gangster after all. It would be dangerous for Dahyun to get involved. But now that she thinks about it, didn't she involve Nayeon as well? Even though she doesn't see herself as a gangster and isn't part of the gang, she's still (like Taehyung's father said) a gangster by blood. Was she wrong by involving Nayeon with her? Well, it's too late to think about that now.

Sana and Dahyun would actually be a good pair. Y/N and Sana weren't that compatible, even if Sana didn't lie and spy on Y/N, they probably still wouldn't have ended up together because Sana didn't know how to deal with Y/N. She needs someone who can deal with her, and the only one that can is Nayeon. Dahyun isn't like Y/N at all, and she and Sana seem pretty compatible.

Nayeon was in the teacher's room just chatting with Sana and Jihyo. Jeongyeon was also there but she didn't speak that much. When the bell rang Jihyo and Sana both went to their classes. Nayeon doesn't have a class right now, same for Jeongyeon.

"Jeongyeon-ah can we talk?" Nayeon asked when Jeongyeon was about to leave.

"Sure, what is it about?"

"I heard you're failing Y/N." Jeongyeon sighed.

"I'm not failing her, she's failing herself."

"Cut the bullshit Yoo Jeongyeon. I know Y/N has good grades, you're failing her because of me aren't you?"

"This has nothing to do with you. Also how do you know? Did she tell you? How close are you two actually?" Jeongyeon crossed her arms.

"That's really none of your business. Just don't fail her because of me, I know you're angry with her because she protected me that night."

"Don't I have the right to be angry? She broke my nose and stood in my way of winning you back."

"Even if she didn't stand in your way, I still wouldn't have gone back to you and you know that. So cut the bullshit. Don't take your anger out on her because I won't go back to you." Those words suddenly hit Ms. Yoo. She always thought that she couldn't get Nayeon back because of Y/N. But deep down she knows that even if Y/N didn't get in the way that Nayeon still wouldn't have come back to her.

"Why? Why won't you come back to me?" Jeongyeon actually never has asked her this question so Nayeon was taken aback.

"I've moved on Jeongyeon. We loved each other and our love was a 100% real. But you and I both know that we couldn't continue since it became too toxic. So please just accept the fact that we're not good for each other. You need to move on. I'm not good for you Jeongie." Nayeon caressed Jeongyeon's arm with sad eyes. Even though she doesn't have feelings for the younger anymore, a part of her will always care for her.

"I guess you're right. I won't bother you or Y/N anymore and I'll give her the grades she deserves." Nayeon smiled weakly upon hearing Jeongyeon's words.

"Thank you Jeong, I appreciate that."

"I guess those rumors are true huh? You seem to be caring a lot about Y/N."

"The rumors are not true. I'm not dating my student and I care for her like I care about all my students." Nayeon lied but she seems to forget the fact that she and Jeongyeon dated for three years. Jeongyeon knows her in and out, so she also knows when she's lying. Jeongyeon is 100% sure that the rumors are true. The way Nayeon acts around Y/N and how she cares about the student are enough evidence for Jeongyeon to confirm the rumors.

"If you say so. I knew you liked younger but I never thought you'd go that young." She joked but Nayeon was obviously not having it.

"Sorry, I was joking. Anyways, I should go now." With that Jeongyeon left the room. Nayeon's glare scared the shit out of her, so she had to escape.
