A Different Way of Expressing Her Belief

The Quillens were a very dignified family, so Hannah resorting to words like ‘waste’ and ‘disgusting’ to

describe Emmanuel demonstrated the extent of her disgust towards him. In the past, she wouldn’t have

Mackenzie had been forcing herself to maintain a poker face while her heart was actually in turmoil.
