“What?!” Gautier's eyes widened in shock. He then argued, “Mr. Lestrange was a good man. He never had deep

grudges with them!”

Teddy finally found his voice, his tone low and heavy. “After we left, Mackenzie and her people were poisoned.

They couldn't figure out who did it, so they blamed Levi... and executed him.”

“That's absurd!” Gautier seethed. His hands curled into fists. “That arrogant b*stard! Emmanuel abuses his

power like a tyrant, thinking he’s untouchable!”

return, I will personally kill Emmanuel and avenge Mr. Lestrange and others.”

Gripping Aora’s shoulder, Teddy responded, “Good. I trust you.”
