However, Emmanuel didn’t care about Lara at all. He had no idea who she was, so he couldn’t care

less about her thoughts. Furthermore, Gautier was no match for him, so it made no difference to him if

the situation escalated into a fight.

“It’s not every day that a villain like you would come asking for a beating on a silver platter,” Emmanuel

said coldly.

Gautier wiped the trace of blood from the corner of his mouth as he smirked, filled with anger, looking

rather bizarre.

“Security! Security! Quickly!” Lara shouted loudly, supporting Gautier. In the next moment, three or four

security guards quickly arrived.

“What’s going on?” The lead security guard happened to be Sheldon. Coincidentally, Ryder was with

him.

“Beat this b*stard up now, then send him to the police station!” Lara ordered loudly.

Sheldon was momentarily stunned, and Ryder was also at a loss.

They would never beat up Emmanuel. Not in a million years!

So, they could only maintain their shocked expressions.

“Why are you all standing there?! How dare you not follow my orders?!” Lara shouted fiercely, itching.

“No, no!” Sheldon waved his hands. “I’m asking about the position you hold in the company.”

“Do I even need a position?! This is my family’s company!” Lara shouted, thinking the captain of the

security team must be insane or brainless. Wasn’t the title of the fourth young lady of the Quillen family

powerful enough?

“So… Ms. Lara, you don’t actually have a position in the company?” Sheldon continued to inquire.

“No! Don’t you speak Chanaean? I’command you to beat this guy up immediately!” Lara was on the

verge of losing her temper, but Sheldon still didn’t move. He couldn’t possibly assault his leader, could

he?!

“This is the Deputy Head of the Commerce Department at Terence Group. We dare not attack him.

Besides, what mistake has he made?” Sheldon asked, pretending to be flustered.

“He hit Mr. Gautier! This is simply unforgivable!” Lara started stomping her foot, completely abandoning

any semblance of a refined young lady.

“Is that so?” Sheldon looked at Emmanuel.

“Yeah, that’s right.” Emmanuel nodded. “I saw that he isn’t from our company, and I was afraid he might

steal our company secrets. So, I thought of dealing with him myself and chasing him out. Since you’ve

arrived, consider it on my behalf!”

“Alrighty!” Sheldon didn’t hesitate at all, immediately carrying out Emmanuel’s orders.

“You… How dare you!” Lara was beside herself with fury at this point. What kind of security did the

Terence Group hire?! Is this a rebellion?!

However, no matter how infuriated she was, Sheldon and Ryder followed Emmanuel’s lead. She felt as

though she was talking to a brick wall.

Gautier, on the other hand, had a better grasp of the situation than Lara. While he was a significant

figure in the Verkade Group, unfortunately, this was the Terence Group. If he continued to confront

Emmanuel here, he would only bring disgrace upon himself.

He realized he had made a mistake earlier-provoking Emmanuel here. He didn’t expect this barbarian

After Lara and Gautier were escorted out, Emmanuel’s mood became far from pleasant.
