"WHAT?!"

"Can you repeat that once again, dad?"

"Are you serious?"

"Yes, the Harrington family and the Cortez family are going to have dinner with us tonight", my dad said calmly.

"Who are this Cortez family?" Eros asked.

"Alex's family", Shy answers his question.

"Why is Jax's family coming?" I groaned out loud.

"Because dad is best friends with Samuel Harrington and Arthur Cortez", Shy said.

"Ugh, I don't want to face Jax this soon", I took the pillow from the couch and slam it on my face.

"Ouch, my nose", I mumbled.

Aaron laughed, "I guess you have to, good luck, lil sis".

"Oh my, this would be exciting", Eros butted in.

"Boys, boys, don't tease your sister, although it would be fun to see her all awkward tonight", my dad chuckled.

"Dad", I shrieked and threw the pillow at my dad.

His face was priceless.

"Did you just threw a pillow at my face, young lady?" My dad spluttered.

"Yes, I just did", I said proudly.

"PILLOW FIGHT!" Eros screamed and grab a pillow, throwing it at Aaron.

"Oh you're dead", Aaron said tauntingly, grabbing a pillow from the couch himself and threw it hard at Eros.

A soft pillow hit my head in the side and I looked at the suspect, and well would you look at that, it was my dear father with a triumph smile.

I smirked and grab the last pillow from the couch I was sitting at and threw it at my dad, but he caught it and stuck his tongue out at me instead. I rolled my eyes in reply to that.

"STOP"

We turned all our heads and it was Shy who shouted.

"You guys are like kids, gosh", Shy said.

I saw in my peripheral vision, that Eros lifted his arm and threw a pillow at Shy.

Her head fell back a bit from the impact and my dad and I tried to held back our laugh, but failed miserably.

When the pillow fell, she glared at us, but we pointed out fingers at Eros who was trying to look innocently.

Shy walked towards Eros and he was saying sorry over and over again with a peace sign and a sheepish smile.

Shy punched him in the arm causing Eros to groan.

"All right, fix this mess, and go change after, the two families are coming soon", my dad said and walked towards the kitchen.

"This is your mess, too!" us, his kids shouted at him.

"Love you guys", our dad shouted back and completely disappeared inside the kitchen.

My siblings ran up the stairs. "HEY!" I shouted at them.

"You started it, you fix it", Aaron shouted.

"Yeah!" Shy shouted.

"So much for acting like kids", I muttered under my breath and started picking up the pillows, putting it back on the couch and fix it.

"ASSHOLES!" I shouted, to pretty much no one in the room.

I walked up to my room after I fixed everything in the living room.

I didn't want to dress up that much, so I just chose a ripped skinny jeans and an off-shoulder blouse.

I went inside my bathroom and started to strip off my clothes and showered.

I changed into my choice of clothing once I was done and applied a small amount of make up which consists of an eyeliner and mascara with a dab of lip gloss.

I walked out of my room and head down stairs to find the rest of my family in the living room.

My dad was wearing a sweater, but it was rolled up all the way to his elbows with a pair of dark jeans.

Aaron and Eros were both wearing a v-neck shirt with a pair of jeans. Shy wore a sky blue dress that hugs her figure perfectly.

"Alright, they're going to be here any minute", my dad said while looking at his phone.

And just as he said that, the door bell chimed.

My dad walked towards the door and opened it. "Hey bro", my dad greeted a guy in his age and they did a bro hug, "Come in".

My dad did the same thing to another guy. The last family came inside and Jax came into view.

My breath caught up in my breath. I would be lying if I said he doesn't look good.

He wore a button up shirt and a pair of jeans. He made eye contact with me and I looked away after five seconds.

"Let's head to the kitchen, shall we?" My dad said and we all followed him.

This is going to be a long night.
