-She's not someone to mess with.-
Lili's POV
I sat down next to him and leaned my head against the wall.
It was so quiet, I thought I was sleeping.
"So, what are we doing in a janitors closet?" I whisper.
He looks at me with those magnetic hazel eyes that seems to pull me closer, everytime.
His face was almost unreadable.
Almost.
Not to brag but I'm amazing when it comes to reading people.
It's a talent.
He looks at me with that expression he sometimes has when we're together.
He wants something. But he can't have it. He knows he has to stay away, but he can't. He wants it. Just like how I know I want back that pizza slice but I can't have it anymore.
"What can't you have?" I blurt out and frown at him.
His body tenses and it looks like he's trying to put up a wall.
No wall is too high for me to climb. Well, except physically. I suck at climbing.
"Nothing." He looks away. "You know, I still want answers from what happened that day."
I tense up.
"Don't." I warn him. "Don't pry into this if you care about your life." I say looking down. "I can't have anyone else dying because of me." I mutter in the softest voice even I barely heard it.
"Lili, please. I need to know." He pleads.
"No!" I shout getting up. "Why do you even care?! It's none of your business and I don't want anyone interfering with any of this!" I snap at him unintentionally and ran out of the janitor's closet.
I ran out the school doors and got into my car.
I started the engine and sped out of the school gates with full speed.
I glare at the road in front of me, gripping onto the steering wheel until my knuckles start turning white.
I swerved off the other cars. At this point, I don't care if I get into an accident, anymore.
"Fuck!" I swear when I knocked over a garbage can.
There were no cars around by now.
Barely anyone comes here.
"I won't cry. I won't cry." I mutter to myself.
"I'm fine. I'm okay." I plaster on fake smile as I speed up more if that's even possible.
"It's okay. There's nothing to worry about." I fake smile as tears stream down my face.
"I hate this! Come out! Come out now!" I shout like a mad woman.
"Kill me now! The whispers are everywhere!" I scream.
"She's going crazy."
"She lost her mind."
"What happened to her?"
"She's that murderer."
"She killed him."
"She can never die."
"She's dangerous."
"She's trouble."
"She's not someone to mess with."
"Stop!" I scream. "Stop the whispers! Stop the voices! Get out of my head!" I screamed and let go of the steering wheel.
The car spun around but I didn't care.
"She's insane."
"She's unsafe."
"She's scary."
"Stop!" I cried.
The next thing I knew, I was upside down and a familiar feeling made itself into my heart.
"Fuck." I mutter as everything turn black

I woke up to liquid dripping down my face which happened to be my blood.
It was pretty dark now and the only lights were from the couple of streetlights around.
Unfortunately, my phone's screen is cracked and there's no battery.
There never was any since this morning to begin with anyway.
Oh, well. I need to take a walk anyway. In this bloody state. Someone would think I got ambushed by a vampire if they saw me.
I reach for the seatbelt and unbuckled myself, making me fall and hit my head on the roof of the car.
I managed to get out of the wrecked car, miraculously.
I stumbled out and touched my forehead only to find blood on my fingers.
I felt numb.
I walked in the middle of the road, not able to feel anything.
My boots colliding with the ground were the only thing that could be heard aside from my breaths.
"I give up." I say out loud.
"Take my life away. I don't want it anymore." I say to no one in particular.
"Let a car run over me, kill me without pain." I say.
I sigh and walk as far as I could.
For about 30 minutes of walking, I don't know how I managed to walk that long, but I stumbled upon a familiar place.
I walked in the forest quietly. I could hear the crickets, there were fireflies around, and there were mosquitoes too but I wore enough clothing to cover my skin from being eaten.
Finally, I see the cliff come into view.
"I should just end me, right?" I thought to myself as I looked down the cliff.
Whew, that's a long way down. No, thank you.
I sat on the edge of the cliff, dangling my legs off it.
It's so peaceful here.
Why can't life be like this?
Peaceful and all?
I feel so stupid. Just a minute ago, I was actually considering jumping off. Now, I'm thinking about peace.
I look at my Apple Watch-wait, my Apple Watch!
Why the hell didn't I think of using that?!
Oh well, it's too late for that and I just want to be alone so...nah.
As I was saying, I look at my watch and it's 1 minute to 12am.
1 minute to the day he was brought into the world.
1 minute to a reminder of what happened.
1 minute to- oh never mind it's already 12.
I sigh and closed my eyes.
"Happy Birthday, Heartsy." I say quietly.

A/n:
I just wanted to direct this chapter mainly for Lili and what she actually feels instead of the smiles she puts on everyday, pretending everything's okay and her past isn't haunting her. Sorry if it triggered anything or it escalated too fast.
New and improved cast list on Chapter 9! Please go and check that out!
Anyways...thanks for reading this chapter! Love you guys!â¤ï¸
