The more the time was passing the more Cami was bored. He had stopped eating a long time ago when he realized he had finished a complet plate by himself.

People were passing by, some started to talked but it always ended fast enough because the conversation was always awkward with people disrespecting him and Cami responding with passive-aggressive answer.

It always caused a cold...

And most of the people were just eavesdropping, and fixing him without discretion.

As if they had the duty to understand what Cami was planning and what sort of alien took over his body.

Well the gazes toward Cami was really making him uncomfortable but at least it meant that his plan was perfect.

Well more like he was using it has excuse for himself to be able to pass through this evil ball. It was his only motivation...

Cami really didn't understand why people seemed so eager to go to a ball.

Well it's true! Why does people would like to suffer

First, it was boring as hell!

Second, keeping a fake smile all the time is the hardest exercise to do. He was feeling his cheeks's muscle building up!

Third, people are fricking annoying. Like could they stop whispering 'quietly' just behind him. He,could clearly hear them.

Fourth, it was so hot in the hall. Like couldn't they have invented an air conditioner!?? Behind the mask your face was literally melting and the clothes could be really, really hot with multiples layers and tight corset.

Fifth, did I mentioned that people and ball are REALLY annoying??

Well just to say, a ball is not so '...~*Romantic*~...' but just an annoying place filled with hypocrites and annoying people.

Not like it was surprising...

It finally happened

Trumpets were heard and the royal family announced.

People bowed before them while they were descending the stairs.

The aura emitting by them was formidable. The charisma they had was enough for anyone to make them bow.

They were not only having an overwhelming presence, they were also gorgeous.

Their costumes each seemed to be enough to buy an entire planet. Like wth, how could their costumes have so many gems and even... DIAMONDS!??

Cami was really astounded. Marvelous was an understatement for their beauty.

Did the goddess of beauty creat them or what?

One of these person was the prince whose birthday was being celebrated.

He was a little boys of... 9 years old maybe? Well he was young that's for sure.

In their family they were

6 children and the queen and king.

Well a big family like that was commun even more for such an important family

Cami was just a bit sorry for the queen considering that she probably didn't even had one word in all ...'that'...

Well it was not the time to feel pity toward another person when he knew that in not a long time he was gonna be the number one person people will mock.

He had to be strong and not miss this chance because he didn't have another plan

The true ceremony started when all the family members were finally sitting at their own throne. Each emitting an overwhelming aura from their place.

The king took a microphone? It has the same effect but couldn't be sure of what it was called or how it was made...

"ME, KING UMERIEN RUPARDE DE LOS MARGIETE AM SINCERELY PROUD OF BEING THE KING OF SUCH A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY. AND AM DELIGHTED TO SEE ALL OF YOU HERE TO CELEBRATE THE TENTH BIRTHDAY OF THE YOUNGEST PRINCE. THE BANQUET WILL NOW START AND THE PRESENTS WILL BE GIVEN JUST AFTER!"

This only sentences made a complete ruckus in the room and full of tables were entered.

Multiple type food was placed in all the hall. The number of table and different food couldn't even be counted.

It was amazing. All the scent enveloping the hall. It was heavenly.

Cami was practically drooling over the plates.

People were all at the tables and some person already had their meal and seemed to enjoyed it.

Cami finally took his plate and put the foods in his plate

Seasoned chicken! Not like in his house

There was full of food he had never tasted before even on earth!

The spices were amazing. Cami usually hate spicy food but just for the taste, he would happily eat it and burn his tongue.

His plate was not large enough to suffer from the quantity of food Harrion put on it. But it was not enough...

Fast enough, Cami went to all of the table or almost every one.

How could he have eaten to much? Even Cami didn't know the answer but it seemed that he was not the only to have enjoyed it because the plates of all the guest were full and they all seemed to want to know the cooks.

If Heaven was real. They would use this food as reference.

The food finally came to an end

And the king spoke again

"IT SEEMS YOU ALL ENJOYED THE FEAST. AND NOW THE PRESENTS WILL BEGINS!"

Soon enough, people started giving the presents. Some were gems this country didn't have, other were animals that didn't even live on earth, other were good news about a great discovery and the profits they made, and it all goes and goes.

His family was the last but Cami didn't have to stress because his turn was probably arriving in like 5 hours.

A lot of persons were practicing their talents in front of everyone, it was spectacular. The singers could have an incroyable range of voice and violinist could play with such fluidity.

All their talents were being showed in different way. Some agressive some like a lullaby and some with efficacy.

They were all special in their own way and that's what Cami liked about music. You could represent yourself in the scenery you were creating with your music.

And with the magic it was wonderful. There's even one where people almost fall asleep because of his magic.

And at an other moment, people started to be more energized.

But the most spectacular was when the sculpture given suddenly produced a scenery, like a movie. It was probably memory?

Well no matter what magic it was, it was beautiful.

Cami and all guests were amazed by each others.

Even if the balls was really annoying at first, Cami really enjoyed that part.

The more the time passed, the more Cami realized how much competition was harsh in the nobles's world.

Finally it was time for the Palanda's.

The final part of the plan was taking place...

What was planned was that when it would be Tale's turn. He would give his present which was playing harp (his best talent).

And Harrion would have to give his present just after Tale. So he would discretely leave the hall and go change into the 'stranger'

The time was calculated so that Harrion will arrived just after Tale finish.

And if people doubted that 'the stranger' and 'Harrion' were not related, Tale would be here to support him.

Tale knew the plan but not the fact that the 'stranger' was the same person as 'Harrion'.

As cami was thinking about his plan, his heart wouldn't stop racing. Cami clenched at the idea of failing.

He couldn't fail it was not something he would allowed from himself

Cami was so stressed over it that he didn't even saw all of his family member already passing. It was when they announced the name of Tale, that Harrion came back to his sense.

It was time...

Discretely, while Tale had started playing, the melody enhanced the hall. Even Harrion had difficulty leaving.

"Beautiful"

Finally Cami leaved the hall and went to the 'cloakroom'(special room)

When the man saw him, he couldn't help himself give him a disgusted face

"You are escaping!? You are as pathetic as I can remember." Cami didn't have the time to deal with this type of confrontation

"Stop speaking and give me my bag. I have my gift inside it" the man was shocked

"You're really disrespectful..." well it's not like Cami care about it

He took the bag and run to the bathroom.

He met one or two people but they were only servants and were looking at him with distain

Cami entered a cabinet and struggled to not fall. He took his mask off and exchanged with the other one.

He attached the string behind his head and put the red cape on.

He get out of the cabinet and went to the mirror.

Replaced his mask to cover more of his face and replaced his hood to hide more of his face.

The top of his face was covered by the shadow of the hood and the bottom of his face was covered by the mask

Which gave him a mysterious aura.

He couldn't even believe he was the same person

He felt like he was looking at someone else

'Well, it should work'

Quickly enough, Cami went to give the bag and the boy was really confused but he just went with his work.

Cami's heart beat was beating like crazy. If he didn't had a rib cages, his heart would probably already be in an other universe.

He had to do it

I finally finished playing my harp. People started cheering me and the spectacle I gave them today. I was sweating.

Harrion was probably going to came in not long. He thought I didn't know he was the 'stranger' he kept talking about. But I knew he was capable of miracle with a piano. And when he mentioned a 'talented pianist with a red cape who was going to be his present' I knew he was talking about himself. He isn't a really good liar...

I left the stage and went see my 'family'. And Father even congratulated me.

I had a silly smile on my face

And the Harrion's name was mentioned. But nobody went on the stage. A ruckus was made in no time

"I thought he was better but he is still as arrogant as ever'                   He escaped just because he didn't have any presents to give!? Inacceptable!'       I didn't even had hope in him from the beginning anyway!'               I saw him leaving earlier, he's such a coward!'         He is really impudent. It is the birthday of a royal family!'"

And it continued on and on

That's the first time I really realized

That's what Harrion always endured... I wasn't even Harrion but I felt like crushed by other

How could Harrion endure it each time he had to do something? Even...

Even me I was one of these person one day

Guilt started to take over me while the voice and rictus of all these hypocrites were talking about Harrion.

For the first time, I felt like I wasn't blind anymore. It hurts

That's when I heard everyone going silence

The person whose job was to shout the name of the person spoke

"T-The pr-present of Harrion Jilleco Cami Palanda is h-here!" It was a person...

I'm really really really sorry this chapter was updated so late! I don't have backup chapters anymore so I will post when I'm able to and because I'm in a writer block, it will be hard.
