Emile

The wedding*

Today is suppose to be the happiest moment of my life but for some reason,am not so happy,am not even sure I want to do this anymore.

"Emile,are you okay?"Kate asked while fixing my veil.

"Yes."

"You don't look happy,anyone can tell your not."

"Can we get this over with."

"Emile...-:"

Mary walked in.

"I need to talk to Emile...alone."she said.

"I will be downstairs if you need anything."Kate said and excused herself.

"You look lovely."

"What do you want?"

"Your making the right decision Emile,Dylan will never be capable of loving you did way Jason will."

"We had a deal,you promised no harm will come to Dylan."

"Yes,a deal is a deal." She paused for a bit "all I want is for my son to be happy."she cried out.

"Jason will surely find out some day and he will hate us both."

"A son can never hate his mother Emile."

Jenny barged in through the door.

"Jenny,what did I tell you about knocking before entering a room."marry yelled.

"Sorry mom," she said and gave her a side hug before looking my way.

"Oh my god,Emile you look so beautiful,I knew that was the right dress."she said with a big grin on her face.

"Thanks Jen."

Kate walked back in.

"Emile,are you ready?...everyone is waiting for you."

"Yes."

"See,you out there sister in law."Jenny said and walked out with Mary.

"This is it."Kate said.

I nodded.

"Okay..let's do this."

"My lady."mark said while extending is hand for me.

"Thanks for agreeing to do this mark." I said and held to it.

"Your like a daughter to me Emile,so this is nothing."

I cracked a smile.

"Shall we."

I nodded.

Here goes nothing.

We got to the isle,Jason was looking so happy,I couldn't help but crack a smile.

"She's all yours now,take good care of her."mark said and handed me to Jason.

"Thank you."Jason whispered.

He nodded and walked away.

"You look beautiful."Jason said.

I just smiled.

"Shall we begin?"priest asked.

"Yes."Jason said in a hurry.

"Dearly beloved,we are gathered here in the sight of God,and in the presentation of family and friends to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony,which is commented by St.Paul to me a honorable estate,instituted of God and therefore is not entered into unadvisedly or carelessly,but reverently,joyful and in the love of God.

Into this holy estate this two people come now to be joined."

"Who gives this bride away in marriage."

"I do."mark said and stepped closer.

He takes my right hand and places it on Jason's left hand before walking back to his seat.

"Now the vows."

"Do you Jason Parker take Emile sawyer as your wedded wife,to love and to cherish,for better or worse,for richer and poorer,in sickness and in health.from this day forward."

"I do."Jason said with a huge smile.

"Do you Emile sawyer take Jason Parker as your wedded husband,to love and to cherish,for better or worse,for richer and poorer,in sickness and in health.from this day forward."

I could feel my heartbeat accelerate as the everyone waited for my answer.

I turned and looked at Kate,she had a sorry expression on her face.

"Babe!"Jason called.

I turned to him,he had a sad expression on his face and that broke my heart,I shouldn't do this to him.

"Miss sawyer."the priest called.

"Can we talk in private?"I said.

"Baby not now,whatever it is can wait."he said and gestured the priest to continue."

"Miss sawyer."the priest called again.

I could hear the audience murmur behind.

"It's important Jason."

"Let's go to my office then."the priest said.

We followed the priest to is office.

"I would be outside if you need anything."the priest said and shut the door.

"What's so important that couldn't wait till after our wedding Emile?"

I stayed silent for a bit before answering.

"Am pregnant."I blurted out.

"Your what?"

"I said am pregnant Jason."

He laughed.

"What's funny Jason?...this is serious."

He came closer and held my hands in a loving manner.

"Your not pregnant Emile,you can't be pregnant we haven't had sex in a long while,now that settles it let's go get married."he said and dragged me towards the door.

"It's not yours?"I whispered.

"What do mean by that?"he let go of my hand.

"I had sex with someone else."

He smiled,I was definitely not expecting that.

"I know you Emile,you would never do that to me,so this is obviously a test."

"It's the truth Jason."

His expression changed to an extremely angry one when he realized it wasn't a test.

"Who?"He asked in a calm voice.

I moved back in fear.

"Who Emile?"he yelled.

"Dylan."I yelled out in fear

"What?"

"Am sorry Jason,I wanted to tell you but your mother threatened me not to."

"What does my mother have to do with all this?"

"She knew."

"You were fucking that Asshole behind my bag."

"Am sorry jason."I cried out.

"All those nights you were away,you were with him right?"

I bent down my face.

"Fuck."he cursed

The door opened

"His everything alright in here?"the priest asked.

"The wedding is off."Jason said and stormed out the door angrily.

"Honey."my mom walked in.

"Mama."I called and she pulled me into a hug.

"Let it all out honey."she said while rubbing my back...
