Emile

The pre-wedding party*

"Babe!are you ready?..our guests are waiting."

"Give me a minute,am almost done with my makeup."

"You look." He paused for a bit "lovely."

"this is just a lingerie Jason."

"Oh good..."he said with relief in is voice.

I chuckled

"Do you mind?"

"Oh sorry,I will be downstairs if you need anything."

I smiled.

Kate walked in while I was applying my makeup.

"Aren't you ready?..everyone is waiting for you."

"Am almost done."

"Are you okay?"she asked.

"Yes,why wouldn't I be."

"Are you sure?"

"Kate am fine,am not even thinking about him right now."

She raised her eyebrow.

"What now?"

"Who said anything about Dylan?"

"I would like to get ready now,do you mind mind?"

She raised her hand in defense.

"Alright,I will meet you downstairs.

I took a deep breath and stared at myself in the mirror for awhile before I continued with my makeup.

I just hope,am doing the right thing.

I know,I love Jason but I can't deny the fact I love Dylan more.

"You don't seem happy."a familiar voice said.

"Dylan."

"Hello luv."

"What you doing here?"

"Am here to take what's mine."

He stepped closer.

"How did you get in here without me noticing?"

"You seemed absent."

He traced is finger along my shoulder slowly.

"You look beautiful." He whispered.

"You shouldn't be in here." I said trying so hard to control my body.

"I couldn't help myself not with you looking like that."

"You should leave before someone sees you in here."I said while laying down my hair.

"Do you still love me?" He asked

"No."

"Why do I find that hard to believe?"

"Stay away from me."I shoved is hands off me.

"We can leave the states Emile,am willing to drop everything right now and start over with you."

"I love Jason and am sure I will be very happy with him."

"Is that really what you want Emile?"

"Yes."I whispered.

"Your eyes says otherwise?"he pulled me closer.

"Dylan...I-"

"marry me instead."he whispered.

"I can't wait for the weeding,you look lovely by the way dear."Mrs Cole Jason's aunt said.

"Thanks Mrs Cole."

"Your welcome dear."she said and walked away.

"Would you like a drink miss?"a wine steward  asked.

"Yes,thank you."

"I would like one too."Kate said and picked up a glass.

"You seem happy."I said.

"I meet someone,he's name is Sean..do you know him?"

"Yes,he's Jason's cousin."

"Am so excited."

"Emile come here,I want to talk to you?"mary called.

"That's some bossy bitch."Kate whispered.

"I will be right back Kate."I said and stepped to mary.

"Yes."

"Jason is about to make an announcement,do you no know what is it?"

"No."

"Have you seen Dylan?"

"Yes."

"I don't have to warn you again,do I?"

I nodded.

She walked away.

"Miss sawyer."

"We shouldn't be seen together Dylan."

"I don't see anyone stopping me."

"Your impossible."

"I think the word is irresistible miss sawyer."

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Gather up everyone I have an announcement to make."Jason said.

"What does he want now?"Dylan said with a groan.

"Am sure it's something important."

Everyone gathered up.

"I want to thank you all for coming,we won't be able to do this without you."

"Wow..that was some speech."Dylan said.

"Can you stop with the sarcasm already?"

"Emile can you come here for a second."

I smiled and stepped out.

"Emile and I have decided to move to France after the wedding."

Wait...what?

Everyone applauded,I just faked a smile.

"That's a great idea,you should have a fresh start."Sam Jason's uncle said.

"Thanks Uncle Sam."Jason said.

I pushed Jason to a corner.

"Care to explain,what just happened."

"Am sorry,I wanted it to be a surprise,I thought you will be thrilled."

"You should have talked to me about it first before broadcasting it to everyone."

"Am sorry,we don't have to go if your not comfortable with it."

"Your leaving and you didn't care to tell me."Kate yelled.

Jason excused himself.

"I didn't know,I just found out.

"I can't believe your moving to France,i will really miss you."

"It isn't official yet."

"Emile.."Dylan stepped in.

Kate excused herself.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I just found out,apparently Jason wanted it to be a surprise."

"Come there's something I would like to show you."he said and held my hand.

I pulled away.

"People are watching."

"Just come with me."

"Where are we going?"

"It's supposed to be a surprise,just trust me."

"Dylan..."

"Trust me Emile."

"Fine.."

"Were do you think your going?"a familiar voice said and we turned.

Mary

"Nowhere."I blurted.

"Dylan I think it's time you leave."she said.

"Make me."

"Dylan.."I held his arm."

"Don't make me call security on you."she said.....

Dylan pulled me closer and whispered into my ear before leaving.

"Am sorry."

"You will be."she said and walked away.

What kind of family did I get myself into.
