"Have you told Jason the truth?"

"No."

"Emile..."

"I will at the right time."

"And when is the right time?"she raised an eyebrow.

"I love you Kate,you know that but this is my problem and I would like to handle it my way."I yelled.

"Alright fine...am sorry."

The door bell rings.

"I will get that."she said and walked to the door.

"Emile..."she yelled from the door.

"Yes." I answered while walking to the door"

"Emile.."

"Dylan?"

"Excuse me."Kate said and walked away.

"Can I come in?"

"what you doing here Dylan?"

"Please...I just wanna talk."

I sighed and made the way for him to come in.

"Thank you."he stepped in.

"Whatever it's better be quick,Jason will be here any minute."I said while shutting the door behind.

"How are you?"

"Am fine....why are you here Dylan?"

"To see you."

"We shouldn't be seeing each other."

"Why you doing this Emile?....I know you don't love him."

"I do love Jason....I won't be getting married to him if i didn't."

"I don't believe you."

We stayed silent for a while,staring at each other,I could tell he was in serious pain.

"What really happened Dylan?"

"Can we talk it over dinner tonight?"

"I can't,I suppose to be staying away from you.."

"Please!.."

I sighed

"Just dinner,nothing else."

He smiled.

He stepped closer.

"I really missed being with you like this."he whispered.

"You should leave."I whispered with a voice I didn't know I had.

He chuckled.

"Your eyes says otherwise."

"I mean it."

"See you tonight."

I nodded.

"Can I get a hug or a kiss,at least?"

"Don't push it."

He smiled and pulled away.

"I will come pick you up by 8."he said while walking to the door.

"That's fine by me."I said while holding the door.

"Laters baby."he said and walked away.

I locked the door and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

I walked into Kate's room.

She was laying on her bed,reading a book.

"Hey."

"Hey."she answered without looking at me.

I sat on the edge of the bed.

"Am sorry Kate for what I said earlier."I apologized.

"You were right,its your problem and I shouldn't be meddling in."

"Don't say it like that."I whined.

"I was just trying to help Emile."

"I know and I didn't mean any of those things i said to you."

"I know."

"Those this mean you forgive me?"I asked with a grin on my face.

"Sure,come here."

I jumped on the bed and pulled her into a hug.

"you know,I love you right?" I broke away

She nodded.

"So,why was Dylan here?"

"To invite me for dinner."

"Did you say yes?"she asked.

"Yes,I just wanna hear him out..I deserve to know why he left."

"You should go."

"Do you mean that?"

"Emile,you spent months trying to figure out why he left...this is your chance you should take it."

"Thanks."

"So,what are you gonna wear?"

"I will figure something out."

"Okay."

"I should get going, am meeting Jason over for coffee."I said and got up to leave.

"Have fun."

"I will."I said and walked out the door.

"You look beautiful."

"This is not a date Dylan."

He unlocked the car and gestured me in.

I sighed and got in.

"Thanks for agreeing to hear me out."

"Don't get over yourself Dylan,am still mad at you."

"Your here that's all that matters to me right now."

"Like I said not a date."

He smiled and focused on the road.

"My father found out about my plan to leave star enterprise."

"you said he will be okay with it."

"Well he wasn't."

"Then what happened?"

"He made me do all his evil biddings for a year."

"What kind of biddings?"

"You don't wanna know..."

"What kind of biddings?"I asked again.

"Illegal drugs Emile....."

"Is Your father a drug dealer?"

"Yes,how do you think he makes so much money."

I kept quiet for a while trying to sink in the information.

"Say something."

"Why do you let him control you like that Dylan?"I asked in a calmer voice.

"That hotel Emile...is my free card out of all this,if loose it I will be bound to him forever."

"Did he take away your hotel?"

"The deal was for me to help him transport drugs freely for a year and after that the hotel is mine."

"Why didn't you contact me?"

"I didn't want to get you into the mess I was in...."

"At least your free to do whatever you want now."

"I want you back Emile."

"Mary,found out about us."I said.

"I know..she practically threatened me the last time I saw her."

"You see,things have change."

"Can you stay over at my place tonight?"

"No,I would like to go home now."I said while dragging my coat."

"Please!..."

"I can't..."I whispered.

"I promise,I just wanna talk nothing else."

"Just talk and nothing else Dylan."

He smiled.

"Let's get going then,we have a lot of catching up to do."he smirked.

"We are just talking."I said as we walked out the restaurant.
