Dear Ex-Wife, You Are MINE! Chapter 44 Dear Ex-Wife, You Are MINE! Chapter 44 in her own dark magic VICTORIAâS POV âMiss White asked me to do this.â The waiter pointed his finger at Camilla.
At that certain moment, everything turned too silent. Everyone was there, standing in shock and speechlessâespecially Daniel and Sage.
I turned my focus to the shameless woman, who seemed confused about the situation.
âDo you have anything to say about it, Miss White?â I asked calmly.
âWhâ¦what do you mean?â Her tone sounded dry.
I smiled, âoh, it seems you forgot; let me remind you. Drugs. Alessandro. Me. Locked in the room. Did the bell ring?â I said each word with a pause.
She blinked, and a few later, her face turned pale. âI doâ¦donât know what you are talking about!â Her tone was shaky.
I chuckled, leaning back on the sofa, and tilted my head at her. âReally? Then why did he specifically take your name?â
âH..how would we know?â Lisa spoke. âHe might be your man, and you are trying to blame this on us!â
I couldnât help but smile again. âI did not blame you, sweetheart. I only blamed her because she did it.â
âI didnât!â Camilla barked with her shaky tone. âYou are a lair!â
âYeahâ¦yeah, as if I have countless times for your shits?â My tone turned hard as I watched her coldly.
âYou send Alessandro into a room, and then you tricked me there, too, with the help of this waiter.â I stared at her all the while. âAnd you thought once again I will be a criminal in his eyes, and you will take him for yourself, didnât you? Just like three years ago, you did.â I said the last part without any knowledge. Just a guess and throw my words in the dark.
Immediately, her face tensed up as she turned pale more. Did I hit the right spot?
âSo?â I arched my brow at her. âWhat do you think about accepting the truth.â
I watched her gulping heard as she shook her head. âNo! I didnât do any of it!â She held Lisaâs hand tight.
âI was with you, Lisa; tell her; I didnât do it.â And Lisa nodded in agreement. Their face is filled with an unknown fear.
âNo maâam, she did it! The waiter said all of a sudden. âShe sends money to me! Asked me to drug Mr.
Devonte. Then she insgtructed me to send you to his room!â
âWhy would she do that even? She loves Alessandro!â Lisa defended her best friend.
âNo maâam, I swear, I am not lying! She sends me money! She wanted to get you and Mr. Devonte in a room!â The waiter repeated again and again, pleading with red eyes and fear.
âShut up! Why would I do that? I fucking love my Aless! Why would I send another woman in the same room with him!â Camilla shouted.
She is like a crazy witch drawing in her own dark magic. She crossed the limits again and againâthis time, she needed to stop. And I will make sure I put an end to her drama.
âYou know the reason better, now tell me why?â I asked after a long time while changing my legâs position.
âNo! I didnât!â She screamed, stepping closer to me once.
Sage immediately took his position in defense, but I stopped him, raising my hand. He didnât move but stayed alert.
I stood up on my feet, eyes fixed on her. âYes, you did! You are the one who drugged him three years ago and sent me into his room! And because of you, I was bound with him!â
She pulled her hair. âNo! No, I didnât! I never did anything!â
âOh, you did. Admit it, Camilla.â I said, cold and calm.
âNo! I didnât! I didnât drug him today, only three years agoâ¦â She paused all of a sudden. âYou did it three years ago and this time too I am sure! Now using your identity, you are trying to blame everything on me!â
âOh, did I?â I arched my brow at her. She thinks screaming would change the truth? Then be it. I am not in the mood to pull this scene. If she thinks making me villain would solve her problem, then she is certainly wrong.
Devontes doesnât like me anyways. Nor do I give a fuck about their thoughts anymore.
I laughed. âI certainly donât need to play any tricks to get him in bed. Well, I donât need him to be my backup, unlike you. I have more than you could Imagine.â
My words maybe make some senses in Lisaâs head as she froze.
I sighed, adding a little bit drama in it. âBut if you still insist, I will take the blame. No problem. However, it still wonât let you out sweetheart.â I stood up as I walked close to her.
âI am still gonna blame this on you.â At this moment, I felt like the Disney villain and I kind of love it!
Camilla trembled, covering her mouth. She tried to touch Lisa. âI⦠Iâ¦â Her eyes seemed to pop out of the socket in shock.
However, Lisa reacted differently that time and stepped back. âShâ¦she was right. You⦠Did it.â
âN.no, Lisaâ¦â Camilla tried to speak, âShe is lying. She is using her power!â
Camilla shouted desperately. but I am not in the mood for more drama.
âEnough of your nonsense, Camilla. I am done with you.â
I turned to Daniel. âDid you do what I asked?â
âYes, maâam.â His lips curved into a smirk. âThe police are on the way.â
âWhat police?â Camilla was alert now; brows knitted together.
âThey are coming for you,â I replied. And suddenly, she jumped toward me with her hands, trying to get a hold of me when in defense I moved aside, holding her arm, and slapped her hard, throwing her on the ground.
âYou should be grateful to me that I am letting you go without much torture. But this is the only time I am doing this. If there is any next time, you will know the real Victoria Edwards.â
Saying that I turned to Sage. âKeep this woman here till the police get her. Daniel will complete the procedures.â
And I walked out of that room after keeping the waiter along with Camilla. He is not innocent at allâa greedy man who tried to harm someone for money.
When I came out, Lisa followed me. Surprisingly, she didnât say anything to me but quietly walked away from there.
Well, I donât even care about their deeds anymore. I got what I wanted; now, itâs time to start the next phase of my life with a new meaning, ambition, and placeâ¦
