CH. 60 Another Case
(Jamison POV)
Another case, another crime scene which means another body.
After Rosemary got the call about a crime scene discovered, she immediately got ready to go. This time instead of me being the only one joining her, the others join in as well.
When we got to the crime scene, I helped Rosemary get the items out of the car. We were both silent and didn't say anything as we made our way to the police officers.
Red, Rosemary sister, was across the street with Kendell; they were trying to sense things out, it had to do with something about their ability, and even though I had no idea about all the different abilities they had, I knew that they're able to do what they can, I hope they could sense or find something, or even have a vision that can help us with this case already.
Hailey, Macy, Marsha, Natalie, and Mona have scattered out around the area, trying to find some evidence that would only be seen and sensed by them.
Damian, my father, was already next to the body that is currently at the crime scene.
"Are you ready?" Rosemary asked me.
I turned my attention to look at her; she gave me a split second of a stare before turning her focus on the path we were walking.
Lights were coming from the officer's car, the detectives that were already out and shaking their heads as they talked amongst themselves. Some people were further out trying to see what was going on, but of course, they wouldn't be able to get through. The officers kept them away, and I saw Red with Kendell amongst them, trying to blend in. I assume they were trying to see if the person who committed the crime was amongst the onlookers.
I let out a sigh and answered Rosemary's question that she asked me.
"I don't even know if I am ready for this, but I know I will do everything I can to help and make sure that the case gets solved," I said.
"Good, by the way. I wanted to tell you that I already have the school and classes pick out for you that you will be attending." Rosemary said to me.
We've had this conversation before, where I needed to go to school and get a degree for the position I have as her assistant. I nodded my head to what she said.
"Dr. Lavender, sir." An officer said to us as we approached them.
"Hello, is it one body or?" Rosemary asked.
"Two bodies, Ma'am, and they're over there." The officer said, pointing to where the bodies were and also where my father was standing. My father was staring down at the ground, and I could see two bodies there.
Rosemary nodded her head and turned to me, gesturing us to go to where my father stood.
When we reached where he was, I saw that he was looking at two little children on the ground.
The children were dead, killed and it looks like there were signs of abuse as well.
"My employees are here," Rosemary said to us.
"Good, because these children were killed in a mess-up way." My dad said.
I could see the bruises on the little kid's bodies; it was two little boys.
"Yeah. They were. Have you seen their ghost yet?" I asked my father.
"No, but they are little kids, ghost on top of that. So they're probably scared and are either hiding or roaming around." My father said.
My eyes widened; I didn't think about that. I never thought about how little kids ghosts are; I'm sure that the kids are actually scared right now and especially have no idea what's going on.
"They probably saw their dead bodies," Rosemary said, causing me to turn around to face her.
"Do you think we'll find them?" I asked her.
"Hopefully, because if we don't. It won't be good, little kids who are ghosts are usually are the ones that can turn strong and have time to, but also can end up becoming an evil ghost. Not because they want to, but because of the fear, the pain, sadness, and anger. Which causes them to get on an emotional rollercoaster, which isn't good when you're a ghost." Rosemary said.
"Then we'll have to find them," I said.
"Do you think you know somewhat of what happened to them?" I asked Rosemary.
"Well, I see signs of abuse. There might sign of another form of abuse as well." She said I didn't miss what her tone was saying, and neither did my father.
"I'm going to roam around and see if I can find them." He said as he walked away.
"Alright, Jamison. Here are some gloves. My employees have come with the body bags now and their materials to collect evidence around the crime scene. Let's get to work." She said.
This is precisely what we did; I didn't hesitate, and I immediately put my gloves on to start working in the crime on the crime scene.
Rosemary and I bent down to evaluate the bodies of the two boys.
"Well, from what we can see. The victims are both little boys, younger boys. So the age range might be from 6-10 years old. There are signs of abuse, but there could be more signs of different forms of abuse." Rosemary said. Her employees were all over the crime scene, and Rosemary turned into Dr. Lavender that very moment.
"Bag the bodies, make sure you all collect every evidence that's in this crime scene, don't second guess anything. Take it, and bag it. We need all the evidence we can get. Be careful with all the evidence you've come across. Make sure you all label the evidence bags correctly and take note of what you think the evidence will give." She said, giving orders.
I watch as all her employees nodded their heads and got to work.
"This person was cruel," I said as I watch the employees took their time to bag the bodies of the two little boys.
"They haven't been killed that long ago; you notice how their bodies seem not to show any signs of animal bites, decaying, or anything else that suggested that they've been here for a long period of time?" She asked me.
I nodded my head.
"They weren't killed today because their body temperature would be different, but they were most likely killed a couple of days ago." She said.
I stilled.
Just knowing that these little boys were probably just alive a couple of days ago bothered me.
These two kids will never see adulthood; they will never be able to watch themselves turn into teenagers, never be able to go through what other teens go through. Their lives were taken from them.
"I hope we find them," I said.
"I hope we find them, and I hope whoever did this to them is found as well, so they can be dealt with," I said softly.
"Because cruel people like this don't deserve to be walking this earth," I said in a harsh tone.
I felt Rosemary's hand grab mine.
I looked at her and our eyes connected.
"I know, and I agree; let's hope we find the kids, and we can be able to get their case the justice it deserves." She said.
I nodded my head, agreeing with her.
I do hope we find these two little boys ghost because I've seen how powerful adult ghost can be; I don't know how two little boys who've just been murdered and have no idea what's going on are going to behave like.
One thing for sure, whoever did this to these little boys needs to pay for this.
There's no way they're going to get away with this.
(*Kassandra Speaks*)
I'm sure anyone who can stand over their dead bodies and realize they have died, but not only that. Now they happen to become a ghost will have a hard time accepting it. I can't imagine what these two little kids are feeling. What do you Dolls think? Do you think the group will find the two little boy ghosts? Or do you think it will take a while before they find them? Let me know in the comment section!
