Ch. 15 Will you help?

(Rosemary POV)

Parents?

The question he had, caused a volcano to almost erupt from me.

Parents? The only parent I have is Mona.

I could care less about the real parents.

Have I ever bothered knowing why I and my sister weren't with them?

No, I didn't because truth be told

Some things you shouldn't bother looking answers for because some answers will hurt you.

Some answers will bring you pain, so why should I bring myself pain?

The group looked excited at the mention of me having a sister, more excited than I was when I actually found out.

I walked into my office, closing the door behind me and walking towards my desk.

It was funny to me, although I didn't show it.

I found it funny how it was just Mona and me here, now there was more of us.

I would say more people in the house, but you know.

That would be a false statement and all.

I sat on my seat, turning on my laptop and video cam her.

Maybe she was busy, maybe she was saving someone and wouldn't be able to come.

My thoughts stopped when she appeared on camera.

Her bright green eyes staring at me.

"Hello, sister." She said a small smile appear on my face.

"Hello Sister, I was hoping to find you home," I said and she nodded her head.

"I actually just got home. You know what I had to deal with." She said and I nodded my head.

feeling her anger.

"You were able to save the person?" I asked her and she sighs

"Yes, I was but she was already hurt when I got there, It was a little girl and she was hurt by three men. I just want to be able to get to them before they get hurt." She said, a sad tone was found in her voice and I completely understood what she meant by saying that.

I could relate easily to how she felt.

"Mona and I can help you with that," I said and her eyes widen.

She looked at me and quickly nodded her head.

"Whatever it takes sister." She said and I raised my hand.

"But you would have to be here," I said and I saw a stunned look cross her face.

"I.... I can't just leave the people here who might get hurt while I am gone Rosemary you know that." She said and I nodded my head, knowing full well she wasn't just going to leave like that.

"Yes I know, there's a way you can be in two places at once. We would have to turn on your full abilities. We would have to help you learn how to use them. Which means sister that not only will you be able to know what's going back home and stop it, but you would also know what's going on here and stop it too." I said and her eyes widen.

"I'm listening." She said.

"We can help you turn on your full abilities, we can help your inner self-leave your body and be able to help the people back home. That means your psychic powers will be stronger, you will be able to use and move things with your inner-self, you'll be able to do that while helping us. You'll also have your third eye open, which means it will come with seeing the dead." I said and her eyes widen.

"Are you serious? I'll be able to see the dead like you? Will you also be able to turn on your full abilities?" She asked me and I nodded my head.

"I think you being here would help, I also found my experiment, he can also help with that too," I said.

"I'm sorry your what? What do you mean your experiment?" She asked me and I filled her in with what has been going on the past couple of days and how I was able to get my experiment.

"So, you like this man?" She asked me and I gave her a look.

"Surely, with everything, I just told you that is not a question you should have taken from my information and asked. Why in the world would you think I like him?" I asked her and she gave me a soft smile

"Well, because the way you've spoken of him. You sat there and told me how much he made your skin crawl, and how he has you having to control your moods around him and how you actually have to think about what you say before you say it to him because you don't want to hurt your feelings. Only someone who likes someone would go through those types of changes. Clearly, if you didn't like him you wouldn't be wasting your time doing that." She said.

I sat there in silence, letting her words settle in.

I shook my head.

"No, that's not it. I just want everything to work out and I happen to come to realize that if I want everything to work out I have to cut my experiment some slack and actually be nice to him. Whatever being nice actually means that is." I said and her soft smile didn't wavier.

"I know how you feel, you don't want to let anyone in and you don't want to start caring for someone. I'm actually planning on adopting a kid." She said and my eyes widen.

"You're adopting a kid, with the life you and I both live sister. Do you think that is the best choice?" I asked and she sighs.

"He's like us." She said and I was stunned.

"Then adopt him, do it quickly and bring him here," I said and her eyes widen.

"I'm trying to do it quickly but it might take longer. I am a nobody sister, don't forget that. They're going to wonder who I am and why I want to adopt him. You know how hard the adoption process is. Especially for some people." She said and I read between the words, she didn't have to tell me twice.

I knew how hard it was.

"I'll help you be able to adopt him and come here with him. You said he's one of us and we need to treat him like one of us. He needs to know who he is. So I will help you and he will be here with us, if you're adopting him, he's family and I am not leaving my family behind or in the dark about their true self." I said and she gave me a wide smile that took me off guard.

"Wow, I've never seen you smile like that," I said and her smile stayed the same as she answered.

"Because what you said made me happy that I had to smile. Yes, please help and I will get on it, I told him that I was planning on adopting him and to be ready on a certain day." She said and I asked what day that was and she filled me in.

"Okay, so you will come here in two weeks. I know someone that can help with the adoption process and will get that sorted out for you real quick." I said and she nodded her head.

"You're amazing sister thank you." She said and I gave her a smile.

"So are you, you're my sister," I said and her eyes widen.

"You're mine. also, will I be able to bring my little friend." She asked.

I gave her a small laugh. "Yes, you can bring your dog," I said and she smiled.

"You know he likes you a lot, it'll be surprised for him." She said and I rolled my eyes.

"I don't know why he likes me so much, I was taken off guard. I've never seen anyone who liked me as much as your dog does." I said and she laughed.

"Are you sure about? Including with everything that's been happening now and meeting a new certain someone?" She asked and I rolled my eyes.

"I'll call you tomorrow and let you on the updates of what's going on, bye," I said and she laughed.

Blowing me a kiss before the call ended.

I let out a sigh and stood up.

I walked towards my office door, getting out and making my way back to the kitchen where I knew everyone was.

I walked in, interrupting their conversation.

I realized my experiment face was red and I raised a brow to that.

"I called her," I said going back to my chair where I was previously sitting.

"What did she say?" Mona asked and I felt everyone eyes on me.

"Well, I had to explain everything to her and her hearing my explanation help her come to her answer of deciding to come," I said and everyone at the table started cheering.

"Yes, finally more people who can help," Hailey said.

I nodded my head.

"She's also adopting a kid soon, who is one of us," I said and the room fell quiet.

"What do you mean?" Jamison asked.

"I mean when I say he's one of us, as in he has abilities too and she's found out about it, from what I can tell. He is a victim she has saved from what was happening to him and she's going to adopt him. I'm going to help with the adoption so she will be able to come with him when she visits." I said and Macy spoke.

"Isn't the adoption process long?" She asked and I answered.

"Yeah, but it won't be. He'll be here with her. I'll make sure of it. Oh and she's also bringing the other one too." I said and Mona threw her head back and laughed.

"You mean your little boyfriend?" She said and I rolled my eyes.

"He's so obsessed with me, I have no idea why but he is. It's weird but I don't mind it. I think he's made his way into my heart. My cold dark heart that is." I said and Hailey's eyes widen.

"You don't have a cold dark heart, Rosemary." She said and I gave her a small smile.

"Not that you know of," I said and Macy laughed.

"I'm glad she's bringing him, it's nice to have him around. He always brings a smile to my face." Mona said.

"Uh, who is this he?" Jamison asked and I looked up to him to find his face showing a weird expression.

I raised a brow to that.

"Yeah, I'm wondering also. It'll be crazy having two guys fight over Rosemary but boy will it be quite an enjoyment." Hailey said causing Macy to shush her.

"Hush, can't you sense that Jamison is getting jealous," Macy said.

"I'm not getting jealous, I just want to know who he is that's all." Mona let out a laugh, wiping away tears and I was just sitting here confused.

"Jamison I'm sure you and the guy will get along great." Darian, Jamison dad said.

Jamison gave his dad a look and turned to look at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Who's this him that's coming with your sister?" He asked and Mona was still chuckling.

"Her Dog," I said and the whole table erupted into a laugh

"What a dog?" Hailey asked laughing and I nodded my head.

"She has this dog, who Mona refers to as my little boyfriend because how he is with me," I said shrugging my shoulders.

Macy smiled towards Jamison.

"See, Jamison. There's no competition." Macy said that caused me to raise a brow.

"Competition?" I asked and Hailey spoke.

"How do you like the name Romison?" She asked.

I heard Jamison groaned, I let the name settle in.

For some reason it caused me to smile.

"I like it. Why?" I asked and Hailey's eyes widen.

"You do?" She asked and I nodded my head.

"Yeah, I let it settle in and decided that I liked it. Why do you know a Romison?" I asked, causing her and Macy to giggle.

"It's a ship name." She said and I raised a brow.

"Someone named a ship Romison?" I asked and Mona laughed.

"Girls quit picking on these two." She said and I looked at Mona.

"I'm confused," I said and she smiled.

"Oh Rosemary my dear, you'll understand soon. So what do you all want to eat." She said and the table was filled with answers of what they wanted to eat.

It was hilarious to me on the fact that Mona was able to help Hailey and Macy figure out that they were able to eat, to keep their energies as ghosts. She's also been helping them with many other things.

There's a lot of things about the Paranormal world that people don't know.

I turned my head to look at Jamison, finding him already looking at me with a look and his cheeks were red.

Did I miss something?

I was going to ask but he looked away, getting into the conversation.

I left the question alone and thought about the name Romison.

I just really like it, it was pronounced like Rome-in-sin.

I wondered how they came up with it, the person who named their ship like that.

Oh, Rosemary, you're so cute sometimes. I think it's funny how Rosemary honestly thinks it's a ship. I mean how cute is she. Jamison name is pronounced (Jame-insin) to those of you who didn't know how to pronounce it. It's not Jame-oson Lol. What do you all think they were teasing Jamison about before Rosemary came in?
