CH. 12 No Worries

(Jamison POV)

Was I ignoring her? Yes, yes I was.

Why was I doing that you may ask? I really have no idea but I was wondering how far it would go before she finally had enough.

Earlier this morning, she snapped at me for no reason. I knew she didn't mean it, I knew she saw that what she did wasn't wrong but that didn't mean I wasn't going to get her back for it.

I honestly was and the best way I could see that happening was to ignore her, not start a conversation with her and just listen to what she tells me to do.

She clearly stated that she didn't want to be friends, I was just an experiment to her besides. I was going to get my money at the end of this anyways. Of course, I didn't forget the money that she promised me about from the very beginning of our meeting.

No who could forget about that, I also couldn't deny the fact that I was starting to care for her.

So here we all were in her jeep, By all of us. I mean Macy, Hailey, me and her.

I have no idea how it was for these two ghost girls but hey, I can't even second think anything anymore. I've been through a lot in a short period of time.

We were heading to her job, I don't know how I was going to get through this.

Honestly, this would be the what? the second time I've seen dead bodies in a short period of time.

The fact that I should probably get used to it, made a shiver run down my body.

I don't know how long she was planning to have me, but for some reason, I felt like it was honestly going to be a very long time.

I looked out the window, not really paying attention to what was being said in the car until my name was called out.

"Jamison, are you okay?" Hailey asked me and I looked up at the rearview mirror to find her and Macy staring at me with a concerned look on their faces.

"Yeah, I'll be fine guys. I just want this bastard caught before he hurts any more people you know." I said and Macy nodded her head.

"Yeah, I know what you mean." She said in a soft voice and I saw Hailey looked at her with a sad look.

"He will get caught," Hailey said.

"I am going to call in someone that I know that can help us with the case, although we're only supposed to be dealing with the bodies and the Forensic side, that hasn't stopped me before. Hopefully, that person can make it." Rosemary said.

My ears perked up at the mention of such a person but of course, I didn't say anything, I really wanted to know what she meant by that but boy how giddy I felt when Hailey asked the question I had on my mind for me.

It's a win, win. I didn't have to ask the question and now I can act like I didn't care at all what so ever about the answer.

"Who is this person?" Hailey asked and Rosemary glance up at the rearview mirror.

"She's someone I have encountered plenty of times growing up and now, I guess you can call us best friends in our own weird way. Although we both don't like using the words best friends, I honestly feel like our bond goes deeper than that, but yeah she also has abilities also." Rosemary said, taking a turn into huge buildings that were connected to Police departments and law enforcement departments,

"She can see and talk to the dead?" Macy asked and Rosemary shooked her head.

"No her abilities are different, but us working together is a great team. Honestly, well if she can help us out. You'll be able to see what I am talking about, of course, we will have to help her out too. She and I always help each other out, I also provide her with a lot of things, she needs all the supplies she can get." Rosemary said I raised a brow wondering what the heck was this woman talking about and who the heck was this other woman.

"What's her name?" Hailey asked and Rosemary took a glance looking back at them.

"Can't say." She said pulling into the parking garage.

Macy spoke. "Geez Rosemary, I would have loved to met you before I had actually died, you seem like a cool person to hang out with," Macy said laughing and Hailey nodded her head agreeing,

"Yeah you're, honestly, I know I am dead and all, but meeting you, Jamison and Mona is nice. Oh also Jamison; Dad Darian is funny. This is the only thing that is helping us go through this, also wanting the freak who did this to us to go down." Hailey said.

Rosemary nodded her head as she parked her car.

"Yeah, I want him to go down too. Let's go people." She said getting out the car.

"Well, we're not really people anymore," Macy said with a sad smile.

My heart clenched knowing that her sister and the others were still with that man.

We all got out the car and followed the Boss, also known as Rosemary, also known as Bambi but she doesn't like to be called that to the elevator.

As we got into the elevator, she pressed the down button and the number.

As the Elevator moved, it was quiet.

"So, Rosemary do you have any idea what's wrong with Jamison because he says it's about the case but I feel like it's something more," Hailey asked and I held the urge to roll my eyes,

"Hailey, you didn't have to put them out like that. It's obvious something went down between them." Macy said and I felt my face getting heated.

Wait, what did she mean by something went down between Rosemary and me.

Rosemary turned to look at Macy and Hailey.

"Down between us?" She asked with a raised brow.

"Yeah, I mean it's obvious Jamison likes you," Hailey said and I felt my face getting hotter.

"Yeah, seriously. He also wants to be your friend and really cares for you in the short period of time you've two known each other." Macy said and I was wondering when we were going to reach the floor.

"Right Jamison?" Hailey and Macy asked at the same time, Unfournatly for them, the elevator door dinged and opened.

I quickly rushed out finding myself in a lab, with dead bodies out with other people surrounding them not doing anything wearing lab coats, suddenly all eyes were on me.

"Good Morning everyone, he will be working with me. Personally, basically, he will be my right-hand man. I hope you all have no questions about him because you all won't be getting answers. Now if someone could please get me my lab coat and also get him a new lab coat, we can get started and find answers regarding these young women who were taken." Rosemary spoke and suddenly two lab coat were shown in front of us.

I told the guy who handed me mine, thank you. He nodded his head and gave Rosemary her's.

"Thank you, Roger. If you can turn on the screens for me, that would be great." The guy Roger nodded, his cheeks turning red and giving her a smile as he headed towards the machines.

Hailey came up to me and spoke.

"Looks like you're not the only one who has a crush on her." She said and I rolled my eyes.

"What do you mean, I whispered. Hoping no one saw because I didn't want to been seen as the crazy dude who was talking to himself. Rosemary and I are the only ones who can see Hailey and Macy.

"Dude, look around you," Macy said and I did notice that everyone was looking at Rosemary and following her orders.

"Every Man and Woman in here are admiring her, they all have a crush on her. I don't think any woman in here is even questioning their sexuality. Rosemary is beautiful and all these people working for her see that. I can't believe she never had any friends really, until now. You need to try harder Jamison." Hailey said and I raised a brow.

"We ship you and Rosemary, but if you don't move soon, The ship will sink," Macy said and my eyes widen as Rosemary was talking to Roger, standing over a body.

"I was going to act like I didn't like her anymore. You know the I really don't like you, game. That people would play against each other" I said and Macy laughed.

"What are we, High school kids? Good luck with that, While you do that. Roger is going to through all his balls in her court." Macy said causing Hailey to laugh.

Rosemary looked up and made a hand gesture telling me to come to her.

I walked towards her with the girls following behind me.

"You see all these screens on the top showing us the bodies that are laid out," Rosemary asked and I nodded my head.

"Everyone in here is going to work on the bodies, including you and we're all going to be seeing different things from all the bodies in here, the screens will show us that. You'll be working with me. Don't worry, I'll be teaching you everything I know. Will be working on Hailey, hope you don't mind Hailey." Rosemary said talking to Hailey's dead body.

"Geez, I'm right here looking at my dead body. This is a disaster." Hailey said and Macy nodded her head.

"At least they found your dead body, I don't even know where mine is or if he tossed me yet," Macy said.

Rosemary looked at them and I could have sworn I saw sadness flashed on her face, it was gone quickly, a second later. It was like it wasn't even there.

She turned to look at me.

Come and wash your hands with me, also we have to put on our gloves. She said pointing to the station in the back.

I nodded my head and followed her.

"Don't be scared, it's all new to you. Like I said before I am here and I won't let you go through anything by yourself." She said and I nodded my head.

She looks like she was going to say something else but shook her head and started washing her hands, I washed my hands also.

I was still going through this game with her. I wanted to get a reaction out of her. I don't know why I did but for some reason maybe I wanted to know if I affected her somehow.

Why can't I just push my feelings aside?

We were drying our hands. putting the gloves on.

She turned to look at me as our gloves were on us.

"Ready to cut up Hailey?" She asked and my eyes widen.

Here I was worried about something else when I was actually going to be cutting a dead body open.

Rosemary gave me a look turning around and walking towards Hailey dead body.

I didn't even know Hailey was beside me until she spoke.

"Hey Loverboy, I ship you and Rosemary and all, but you better not fuck this up. This is my body and I have no problem haunting you for the rest of your life." Hailey said smiling at me.

"No worries though. I'm sure you'll do great." She said walking towards Rosemary and Macy who stood over her body.

No worries? I never even went to school for this? I have no experience, no degree, I have never done this before.

I let out a long sigh.

"No Worries," I said walking towards Rosemary.

No Worries Jamison, You got this. So what do you Dolls think? Do you think Jamison Game will work on Rosemary? Do you think Rosemary will start to have feelings for Jamison?
