After walking out of the office, Sean paused on his way into the corridor.
The classical and luxurious castle is full of smoky traces, and many thick curtains have been burned. Sean also saw a half-burned oil painting, and several peasant women panicked and hid in the corner of the painting.
It seems that the accident caused by the Ashwinders caused quite serious damage. Going around the stairs that were mostly broken on the first floor, Sean saw a huge figure in front of him.
It was Hagrid, searching the dark corners with a lantern with his coat full of things.
âHey, Hagrid. Itâs nice to see you here.â Sean stepped forward and greeted him.
âOh, hey, Sean!â Hagrid turned his head, then gave a surprised smile, âHow are you? You must be all right since Professor Dumbledore took care of you. â
âIâm fine. What are you doing now?â Sean and Hagrid shook hands.
Holding the lantern, Hagrid shrugged his shoulders, âLooking for the eggs of those Ashwinders. I cleaned them up last night and tried to see if any eggs slipped through my patrol. Well, I found quite a few.â
Sean stretched his head and looked at Hagridâs pocket, which contained seven or eight Ashwinders Eggs with a Flame-Freezing Charm.
âThank you for your hard work. By the way, can you tell me what happened to me back then?â Sean asked.
âOh, right, you fell asleep,â Hagrid showed a look of fear, âProfessor Dumbledore suddenly appeared in the castle, and he cast a big flame. Those crazy, bloated Ashwinderes calmed down, and the other professors and I spent the night looking for the eggs to prevent them from appearing in the castle again.â
âI have never seen such a situation like this in Hogwarts for so many years.â He shook his head and sighed.
Sean nodded thoughtfully. It seemed that Dumbledore had calmed the Ashwinders. However, the eggs of the Ashwinders that had already been laid should have burned a lot of places.
âWell, glad that everythingâs alright now, and so do you.â Hagrid patted him on the back hard, and Sean felt like he was hit by a car.
Sean rubbed his back and said with a wry smile, âHagrid, Iâm still a child.â
Hagrid showed an embarrassed smile, âSorry, sorry, Iâm a little excited. But you donât look like a small wizard who just entered school.â
He raised his hand exaggeratedly, âDidnât you see Dumbledore carrying you at the time? He praised you as a mature and excellent wizard. Everyone thought you lost your life at that time, you know.â
âBut in the end, Dumbledore just said that you were just too tired, so you fell asleep,â Hagrid stroked his beard, âWith that news, everyone was relieved.â
Sean opened his mouth. He was being carried back? Everyone was worried? And Dumbledore said he was just too tired?
Sean rubbed his heel against the ground, suddenly feeling embarrassed.
In order to prevent Hagrid from saying anything anymore that could make him feel embarrassed, Sean quickly changed the subject.
âBy the way, how is Professor Kettleburn?â
Hagridâs expression became serious. âIt is said that he was held under the Imperius Curse for several months. The poor old man tried to break free from it, but he was unsuccessful, and he was still being controlled. Last night, Professor McGonagall had to stun him, and he was sent to St. Mungoâs hospital.â
Seanâs eyes narrowed slightly, and he thought about Quirrell. But if the Imperius Curse controls it, he does not need to threaten Professor Kettleburn. Then the person who controls this professor should be the other personâs voice he heard.
However, in Seanâs view, that mysterious man should probably not be Voldemort but a Death Eater. The man who pursues immortality wouldnât even dare to appear at Hogwarts just like that.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
After chatting with Hagrid for a while, Sean walked towards Ravenclawâs tower. On the way, he met many students who helped to restore the castle. When they saw Sean, everyone greeted him warmly, and some even came up to shake his hand.
Passing a corner, Sean saw his group from last night.
Cedric came up and gave him a hug, âHey, youâre doing good now? Thatâs great!â
âCedric, why even youâ¦â Sean patted his back with a smile and said helplessly.
âIt looks like youâve met everyone on your way here.â Cedric said with a smile on his face.
âYes, everyoneâs enthusiasm is a bit too much lately.â
Cedric patted his shoulder, âProfessor Dumbledore gave you fifty points! Donât you know?â
âFifty points?â Seanâs eyes widened.
âYes, fifty points! You saved Percy and dealt with the Ashwindersâ accident. Everyone knows that.â
Sean stopped and asked suspiciously, âDid Dumbledore say that?â
âUh,â Cedric showed a strange smile, âFred and George did.â
âI knew it.â
âI know youâre fine, but after falling asleep, the two of them told everyone about it. I remember they said that when you wake up, they will wash your underwear for a month.â Cedric shrugged his shoulders.
âWell, thatâs unnecessary.â
Cedric looked around, and after confirming that no one was there, he whispered, âDonât worry about you summoning that blue ring of fire. We didnât tell anyone about it. Even Fred and George are keeping it a secret.â
âThank you so much about that,â Sean showed a puzzled expression, âDumbledore was there, right? How did he make it away?â
Cedricâs eyes lit up, âDumbledore just waved his hand and circled your flame in the infirmary.â
âCharlotte was in a hurry and kept screaming âSeanâs still in thereâ, but Dumbledore said youâll be fine, and then,â Cedric put on an odd look, âThe room was blown into ruins by a blue fire dragon, and you were asleep in the infirmaryâs ruins.â
Sean smiled embarrassingly. His spell indeed blew up the infirmary.
After saying goodbye to Cedric, Sean returned to the tower where the Ravenclaw lounge was located. The students all seemed to be out to help repair the castle, and the common room was empty.
Sean returned to the common room, changed his robes, and opened the panel. He didnât forget about the magical beast egg that saved his life.
