krishna senses catastrophe!

It's been 36 years since the devasting war, yudhisthira who was crowned as a rightful king had ruled the kingdom efficiently and proved himself as a good king. There is no history of crime ever committed by anyone during his reign. But, as the time passes everything changes but the mostly importantly the age which makes a person vulnerable.

Yudhisthira had decided to give up the kingdom and end his life by reaching to heaven, being alive. It's believed whoever go for "mahaprasthana" when they are alive, they reach higher realms and ultimately get free from cycle of birth & death. Yudhisthira informs the same to pandavas & karna and they also expressed their desire of joining him in "mahaprasthana" as they too feel they had fulfilled all their duties. But, the only question arises who would be the king of hastinapur. As karna's son & abhimanyu's son both are legal heirs. Karna had promised of not choosing hastinapur's throne ever in his life. But, his son deserve the kingdom.

For to take a good decision for this situation, yudhisthira arranged a small meeting where he invited abhimanyu's son parikshit along with karna's son vrishketu. Few tests were conducted by the maha-mantri to know their ability which a good administrator should have.

Vrishketu pass all the tests, but parikshit failed in some tests. Finally, on maha-mantri's advice, yudhisthira decided to announce vrishketu as hastinapur's new king. But, vrishketu interferes and plead him to give parikshit a chance in one more test and whoever win this test, they can crown him as the king of hastinapur.

Yudhisthira agreed. This time mahamantri put a little hard challenge. They ask him to impress the citizens of hastinapur and whoever able to impress more citizens one over another they're going to be their king.

Both young warriors accepted the challenge and took blessings of their king and asked permission to arjuna and karna before leaving the palace.

Here, in dwarka krishna senses the upcoming catastrophe which was the result of gandhari's curse to him 36 years ago. He reminisced the curse and get tears rolled down from his cheeks. He realised his avatar's mission is completed and it's his time to depart.
