Danielle stood in front of her mirror, running a hand through her hair as she eyed her reflection. The outfit laid out on her bed was effortlessly cool, exactly the vibe she wanted to give off. She smirked to herself before reaching for the first piece.

She pulled on the black cropped t-shirt, the soft fabric hugging her frame just right. Simple, sleek, but undeniably stylish. Next came the plaid pleated skirt—classic, preppy, but with just enough edge to make it her own. She adjusted the waistband slightly, making sure it sat comfortably on her hips.

Reaching for the oversized black leather blazer, she shrugged it on, letting it drape over her shoulders. The smooth, slightly heavy material gave her a sense of authority—like she owned the place before she even walked in.

To complete the look, she laced up her chunky black combat boots, the thick soles adding a little extra height. They were bold, statement-making, and, most importantly, perfect for stomping through the halls like she had nothing to prove—because she didn't.

For the finishing touch, Danielle clasped a simple silver necklace around her neck, the interlocking rings resting just below her collarbone.

She took one last glance in the mirror, tilting her head. The outfit screamed confidence, and that's exactly what she intended to exude. With a smirk, she grabbed her bag and headed for the door.

Danielle strode downstairs with a slow, deliberate confidence, the heels of her combat boots clicking lightly against the hardwood steps.

The oversized leather blazer swayed slightly with each movement, adding to the effortless air of control she carried with her. As she reached the bottom, the familiar hum of the television and the faint scent of coffee told her that someone was already in the kitchen.

Pushing open the door, she found her aunt Izzy perched on a stool at the kitchen island, flipping absently through a magazine while sipping from a steaming mug. Without looking up, Izzy spoke.

"Trying to intimidate the entire school before the day even starts?" she mused, finally glancing up. Her gaze swept over Danielle's outfit before a smirk tugged at the corner of her lips. "Nice touch with the boots. Very 'don't mess with me or I'll step on your soul.'"

Danielle rolled her eyes but couldn't help the small smirk that played on her own lips. She walked to the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water before leaning against the counter. "Gotta keep my reputation intact," she said smoothly, twisting the cap off. "Can't have people thinking I've gone soft."

Izzy chuckled, setting her magazine down. "Right, because God forbid anyone thinks you actually care about anything."

Danielle took a sip of water and shrugged. "Exactly."

Izzy shook her head, amused. "So, are we pretending that this outfit is just for fun, or are we acknowledging the fact that you're absolutely trying to catch someone's attention?"

Danielle shot her a pointed look. "I dress for me."

Izzy gave an exaggerated nod. "Oh, of course. Totally unrelated to a certain blonde troublemaker who may or may not drive you insane."

Danielle rolled her eyes, pushing off the counter. "I'm going to school."

Izzy grinned, taking another sip of her coffee. "Yeah, you do that. And try not to scare away all the underclassmen."

Danielle grabbed her bag and headed for the door. "No promises."

Danielle stepped out of the house, the crisp morning air barely registering as she made her way toward her prized possession—a sleek, dark red Bugatti Chiron parked in the driveway.

The morning sunlight gleamed off the polished surface, highlighting the sharp edges and smooth curves of the luxury supercar. She smirked to herself as she pulled the driver's side door open, sliding into the plush leather seat with practiced ease.

The moment she pressed the start button, the engine purred to life—a deep, throaty growl that sent a thrill through her veins. She tapped her fingers against the steering wheel, letting the sound settle in before shifting into gear.

As she pulled out of the driveway, she barely spared a glance at the other cars around her. They all looked dull in comparison, nothing but forgettable background noise. The road was hers, and she knew it.

With a casual flick of her wrist, she turned up the volume on her stereo, letting the bass-heavy beat fill the cabin as she sped down the street. Windows down, wind whipping through her hair, she exuded effortless cool, the kind that made heads turn as she passed.

By the time she neared the school, the familiar crowd of students was already gathering in the parking lot. Some were chatting, others were scrambling to finish last-minute homework, but all eyes seemed to shift the moment Danielle's Bugatti rolled onto campus.

She slowed just enough to enjoy the moment—the lingering glances, the envious stares, the hushed murmurs of, Who even is she? She knew exactly who she was. And soon, so would everyone else.

With a smirk, she pulled into her usual spot, cutting the engine with a deliberate slowness. As the low rumble of the car faded, the world seemed to hold its breath for just a moment. Then, with a flick of her hair, she stepped out, slinging her bag over her shoulder as if she hadn't just made the most dramatic entrance possible.

Danielle locked the car with a click, turning toward the school without so much as a second glance. Let them stare. She had a reputation to maintain.
