"Don't worry, Chote Khan. She is just sleeping," Khanum attempted to soothe Almeer, her voice a gentle reassurance amidst his frantic movements. Almeer's nerves were frayed, his mind unable to comprehend the scene before him.

"Kya matlab she is just sleeping? She is literally bathing in blood!!!!!" he exclaimed, his hands gesturing wildly as he paced back and forth. The white t-shirt he had donned earlier now clung to his skin with sweat,  proof of the intensity of his anxiety.

Khanum couldn't help but stifle a laugh at Almeer's panicked state. "Almeer beta, stop overreacting," she urged softly, her tone filled with affectionate amusement. However, Almeer appeared on the verge of a breakdown, his distress palpable as he struggled to process the situation unfolding before him.

After Almeer's panicked scream reverberated through the haveli, Khanum rushed into his room, her heart pounding with fear at the sight that greeted her. Aynoor lay on the floor, seemingly lifeless, and for a fleeting moment, even Khanum felt a surge of panic. However, upon closer inspection, she realized – Aynoor was on her first period.

Despite Khanum's efforts to reassure him, Almeer remained in a state of agitation, his anxiety palpable as he fretted over Aynoor's well-being. Khanum struggled to contain her exasperation, tempted to swat him in frustration.

Amidst the chaos, Aynoor stirred awake, her confusion evident as she took in the scene around her. Her gaze landed on Almeer, who appeared as if he had just seen a ghost, his features contorted with worry.

"Khan, aapko kya hua?" Aynoor inquired, her voice laced with concern as she noticed the distress etched on his face. Khanum couldn't help but chuckle at the sight, amused by the irony of the situation.

"Maa, aap yaha kyu hai?" Aynoor questioned Khanum, puzzled by her presence in the room. Khanum's smile widened as she realized that her daughter-in-law was completely unaware of the chaos she had unwittingly caused.

"Mai bas tumhe dekhne aayi thi, tumse kuch baat karni hai," Khanum said softly, her tone gentle as she addressed Aynoor. Aynoor nodded in acknowledgment, her curiosity piqued by Khanum's words. However, her gaze soon fell upon the blood-stained carpet beneath her, her eyes widening in alarm as she turned to Almeer and Khanum.

"Y....ye..ye ky..kya hai??" she stammered, her voice trembling with fear and confusion. Almeer's own expression mirrored her helplessness, adding to her growing sense of dread. Desperately seeking reassurance, Aynoor turned to Almeer, only to find him looking just as terrified as her.

"Bolein naa!! Ye kaisa khoon hai..." she implored, her voice breaking as tears began to stream down her cheeks. Khanum moved quickly to comfort her, gently taking her hand in hers.

"Dont cry bache. Koi darne waali baat nahi hai ye. Sab thik hai," Khanum reassured her, her voice soothing and comforting. Aynoor's gaze darted back to Almeer, her eyes pleading for confirmation.

"Kya sach mai khan?" she asked Almeer, her voice trembling with uncertainty. But Almeer remained silent, his inability to respond only fueling Aynoor's growing panic.

"Arey bache aap roo kyu rahi hai?" Khanum questioned, her concern evident as Aynoor's cries grew louder with each passing moment.

"Khan kuch bol kyu nahi rahe?? Kya mai marne waali hu?" Aynoor's voice trembled with fear as she turned to Khanum, her eyes pleading for answers. Khanum sighed, grappling with how to ease Aynoor's distress, but before she could respond, Almeer rushed to Aynoor's side, his own emotions threatening to overwhelm him.

"Nahi, nahi. Tumhe kuch nahi hoga mai abhi doctor ko bulwata hu!!" Almeer's voice was tinged with urgency as he reassured Aynoor, his hands gripping hers tightly as if to anchor her to reality.

"Please mujhe bacha lein Khaan. Mere baad billu ka kya hoga?" Aynoor's cries grew louder, her distress echoing through the room. Almeer's heart clenched at the sight of her tears, his resolve faltering as he struggled to comfort her.

"Tum ye sab mat socho, mai abhi doctor ko call karta hu," Almeer promised, his voice shaking slightly as he reached for his phone, desperate to alleviate Aynoor's fears.

Meanwhile, Khanum observed the scene with a mixture of exasperation and amusement. She shook her head, marveling at the melodrama unfolding before her. She understood Aynoor's panic, but Almeer's reaction, at nineteen years old, left her speechless.

Gently swatting the back of Almeer's hand, Khanum intervened, her tone gentle but firm. "Khud ko sambhalein, Chote Khan," she advised, attempting to bring some semblance of calm to the chaotic situation. Almeer looked at her incredulously, his frustration bubbling to the surface.

"Maa, what are you talking about?? Aapko mazaak lag raha hai ye!!" he exclaimed, his irritation evident as he struggled to comprehend Khanum's seemingly nonchalant demeanor. Khanum sighed, meeting his gaze with a knowing look, her eyes flickering between Almeer and Aynoor, who clung to him like a lifeline, her sobs punctuating the tense silence.

"She is YOUR wife, aur jo kaam aapke karne k hai, lagta hai wo bhi mujhe he karne padenge," Khanum sighed, her words carrying a weight of resignation as she glanced at Almeer. Almeer's cheeks flushed with shame and embarrassment as he began to piece together the situation, recalling the time when Aynoor had complained of stomach pain.

"Maa...." Almeer started, his voice tinged with a mixture of chagrin and reluctance. He had never imagined himself being thrust into such a situation, but he couldn't deny the reality. Aynoor was, after all, a young girl, and he couldn't shirk his responsibilities as her husband.

Khanum regarded her son with a mixture of amusement and affection, suppressing a smile as she observed his flustered state. With a theatrical sigh, she rose from the floor and made her way to the door, Almeer's pleading gaze following her every move.

"Ab jo aap samajh gaye hai situation ko, I think you can handle it yourself," Khanum remarked casually, her words tinged with playful teasing. Almeer could sense the smile in her voice, and for the first time, he felt a pang of frustration towards his mother for leaving him to navigate this unfamiliar territory alone.

"Ye samaan Chote Khan k kamre mai le jaao," Khanum instructed Guley, who was in the kitchen at the time. As Khanum returned from her room with all the supplies Aynoor might need, Guley glanced at the assortment of items and quickly grasped the situation. Nodding obediently, she replied, "Ji, Khanum bibi," before heading towards Almeer's room.

However, before Guley could proceed, Khanum intercepted her midway. "Ye pain killers bhi lelo. Almeer se kehna ho sake toh naa de. Lekin agar Aynoor ko pain zyada ho toh khila de," Khanum instructed Guley, emphasizing the importance of the painkillers. Guley nodded in understanding, taking note of Khanum's words.

Just then, Yazdaan entered the hallway, his footsteps quickening as he overheard the conversation between his mother and Guley. His voice trembled with worry as he inquired, "Maa, kya hua hai Aynoor ko?" Emotions flooded his eyes, reflecting his concern for her.

Khanum glanced briefly at Yazdaan before motioning for Guley to leave. "Kuch nahi. Tum apne kamre mai jao," she replied firmly, her tone betraying no hint of the turmoil raging within her. However, Yazdaan's internal turmoil remained untamed, his worry for Aynoor refusing to be quelled.

"Toh phir usey pain killers kyu de rahe hai aap?" Yazdaan persisted, his frustration mounting as Khanum remained silent. Determined to see for himself, he took a step towards Almeer and Aynoor's room, his voice firm and tinged with hurt.

"Thik hai, naa batayein mai khud dekh lunga," he declared, his resolve unwavering despite Khanum's attempts to dissuade him. However, before he could reach the door, Khanum intercepted him, grabbing his hand firmly.

"Uska shohar uske saath hai, Yazdaan. It is not appropriate for you to go in there. Apne kamre mai jaao," Khanum admonished sternly, her tone leaving no room for argument. Yazdaan felt as if a weight had settled upon his shoulders, the sting of her words piercing through him like thorns.

Closing his eyes for a moment, Yazdaan took a deep breath, struggling to contain the flood of emotions raging within him. When he opened his eyes, he met Khanum's gaze, his expression a tumultuous mix of hurt and frustration. Khanum winced at the pain reflected in his eyes, torn between her role as a mother to Yazdaan and Almeer.

"I hate you all."

Almeer's gaze flickered nervously towards the closed washroom door where Aynoor was currently inside. His heart pounded with worry as he paced the room like a helpless dog, his mind consumed with thoughts of how to best care for her.

He had convinced her to change clothes, but now he found himself hesitating to confront the supplies Guley had bought. Although he felt a pang of discomfort at the thought of handling such personal items, he knew there was no other option. Aynoor needed his help, and he couldn't let his own discomfort stand in the way of her well-being.

With a heavy sigh, Almeer pulled out his phone and hesitantly began to search,

'How to use sanitary napkins?'

His fingers trembled slightly as he typed, his mind racing with uncertainty and apprehension. Yet, despite his discomfort, his determination to care for Aynoor outweighed any personal reservations he may have had.

(What the hell am I supposed to write here? I am leaving this part to your imagination.)

Almost an hour had passed, and Almeer and Aynoor were now seated on the bed. Aynoor winced and groaned in discomfort, her face contorted with pain from the cramps. Almeer, feeling helpless, had gathered every hot water bottle he could find from Guley, a total of approximately 15 bottles, but Aynoor's agony persisted.

"Noori!! Zyada dard ho raha hai toh mai doctor bulwa lu??" Almeer's voice was filled with concern as he gazed at Aynoor, his expression resembling that of a worried puppy. Aynoor, perched at the head of the bed, met his gaze, her own eyes reflecting the pain she was experiencing.

"Mere pairo mai dard ho raha hai, Khan," she whispered, her voice barely audible amidst the waves of discomfort. Almeer sighed, a pang of helplessness washing over him as he witnessed Aynoor's suffering. In a moment of inspiration, he had an idea.

Quickly, he removed the comforter from Aynoor's feet, prompting an immediate reaction from her. "KYA KAR RAHE HAI KHAN!" Aynoor exclaimed, her annoyance evident as she felt the sudden cool sensation against her feet, contrasting with the warmth provided by the hot water bottles.

"Shhh....chup karjao," Almeer whispered softly, his voice a gentle reassurance as Aynoor leaned against her billu and hugged it tightly.

Almeer cradled her feet in his hands, his touch gentle yet firm as he began to massage her soles and feet. Aynoor let out a sigh of contentment, the tension slowly melting away under his ministrations.

"Waise mere ghutne bhi dard kar rahe hai," Aynoor remarked, her gaze meeting Almeer's through half-closed lids. Almeer gave her a playful look in response.

"Mai aapka chotu kaam wala nahi hu!" he teased, a smirk playing on his lips. Aynoor laughed at his jest, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Abhi lag toh rahe hain," she replied with a playful smile, enjoying the banter despite the discomfort.

"Ab dard kaha gaya tumhara?" Almeer raised an eyebrow teasingly, prompting a blush to spread across Aynoor's cheeks. Seeing her reaction, Almeer decided to forgo further teasing and continued to massage her feet, his focus solely on easing her pain and bringing her comfort.

"Kya ab mai badi hogyi hu?" Aynoor asked Almeer, her voice tinged with curiosity. Almeer shook his head in response, a small smile playing on his lips.

"Nahi," he replied gently, his eyes meeting hers with warmth. Aynoor rolled her eyes in mock exasperation, her expression teasing.

"Kon sikhata hai tumhe ye sab?" Almeer inquired, genuinely curious about where Aynoor had learned about such faces. Aynoor shrugged nonchalantly, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Aap jhoot kyu bol rahe hain?" she retorted, her tone playful yet challenging. Almeer arched an eyebrow in surprise, taken aback by her accusation.

"Kab jhoot bola maine?" he asked, slightly amused by her accusation. Aynoor met his gaze squarely, her expression unwavering.

"Abhi, aapne bola ab mai badi nahi hui hu lekin doctor ji ne toh bola ab mai badi ladki ban chuki hu. Unho ne kaha that ye cycle start hone ka matlab hai mai ab choti bachi nahi. aur aisa sari girls k sath hota hai," Aynoor explained matter-of-factly, her words carrying a sense of authority. Almeer sighed, realizing that Aynoor had indeed learned about these things from reliable sources, and he couldn't argue with that.

Earlier, he had attempted to deflect the conversation by arranging for Aynoor to speak with a female doctor he had contacted through Hamza. However, he knew that ultimately she would turn to him for answers, and he couldn't evade the truth.

"Haa, ye baat sach hai menstrual cycles hone ka matlab hai ladkiyan badi hogyi hain, lekin TUM nahi aati unn ladkiyon mai khud ko amma samjhne ki zarurat nahi hai. Aur haa ye sab ladkiyo k sath hota hai," Almeer stated firmly, his words carrying a hint of sass. Aynoor couldn't help but roll her eyes at his blatant double standards, though she was unaware of the conflicting emotions he harbored.

Unbeknownst to Aynoor, Almeer harbored a deep-seated desire to protect her innocence and shield her from the harsh realities of adulthood. He knew his desire was selfish, and guilt gnawed at him as he grappled with the conflicting emotions of wanting to preserve her innocence while also acknowledging the natural progression of her growth.

"Toh kya Kamal k bhi aagye honge?" Aynoor's question caught Almeer off guard, causing him to momentarily choke on his own spit. Regaining his composure, he replied somewhat defensively, "Mujhe kya pata noori!! Tum bhi pagal bakwas karti ho."

Aynoor shot him a disapproving look, her eyebrows raised in mild annoyance. "Kuch pata hai bhi aapko?" she countered, her tone tinged with skepticism.

"Itne natak karne lagi hona tum, noori," Almeer remarked with a shake of his head, recognizing Aynoor's familiar display of theatrics. Aynoor couldn't help but smile; it was true, she did tend to throw tantrums like a typical wife. Realization brought a sense of warmth to his heart, knowing that their bond was growing stronger with each passing moment. Yet, it also made him aware of the power she held over him, a realization that both amused and humbled him.

"Khan!!!" Aynoor's sudden yell snapped Almeer out of his musings, and he quickly rushed to her side as she ran towards the bathroom, clutching her stomach in pain. Alarmed, Almeer gently held her, his concern evident in his voice as he asked, "Kya hua noori? Kaha jaa rahi ho?"

Aynoor shook her head in response, her expression pained as she struggled to articulate the source of her discomfort. Almeer's worry deepened as he watched her, his heart aching to ease her suffering in any way he could.

Almeer's fear intensified as Aynoor remained unresponsive, her discomfort evident but her words choked by pain. Desperate for answers, he shook her gently, his voice trembling with worry, "Noori!! Kya hua kuch bolo toh."

Aynoor's attempts to pull away were feeble as her strength waned, her voice barely a whisper as she pleaded, "C...choo..chordein..K..Kh..Khan." Before Almeer could react, she vomited on his chest, catching him off guard.

Despite the shock, Almeer's immediate concern was for Aynoor. Ignoring the liquid staining his clothes, he gathered her hair and guided her to the washroom, offering her support every step of the way. "Khan......" Aynoor's voice trailed off as another wave of nausea overcame her, and Almeer held her close, providing comfort and reassurance as she emptied her stomach into the sink.

Almeer continued to support Aynoor, his grip firm yet gentle as he held her close, offering her comfort and stability amidst her distress. Finally, as the ordeal subsided, Aynoor collapsed against him, her breathing ragged and her body exhausted. Almeer held her close.

Almeer carefully lifted Aynoor and placed her on the sink counter, ensuring she was supported by the wall. "Yahi rehna," he instructed gently, his voice filled with concern. Hastily removing his t-shirt, he fetched a towel and tenderly wiped Aynoor's face and hands clean before carrying her back to bed.

"Ab thik lag raha hai?" he inquired anxiously, watching her closely for any signs of discomfort. Aynoor nodded weakly in response, her energy depleted from the ordeal. Almeer recalled the doctor's warning about the possibility of such episodes, but he couldn't shake off his worry.

"Kuch chaiye tumhe?" he asked softly, eager to provide her with any comfort she needed. Aynoor nodded faintly,"Paani," her voice barely a whisper as she requested water. Almeer swiftly fetched a glass of water for her and gently helped her sip it before laying her down on the bed.

Within moments, Aynoor succumbed to exhaustion and drifted into a deep slumber. Almeer sighed with relief, grateful that she seemed to be resting peacefully. With a heavy heart, he left her side and headed to the shower.

Yazdaan sat in the classroom, his gaze fixed on the empty seat beside him. Though the seat remained unoccupied for everyone else, Yazdaan envisioned Aynoor sitting there, her presence vivid in his mind. He could almost see her smiling, laughing, teasing him, and making silly faces, a bittersweet smile playing on his lips as he indulged in this illusion.

Lost in his reverie, Yazdaan even began to hear her voice echoing in his mind.

"Ghonchumal, merse nahi hoti ye padhai..." Her words, accompanied by a comical expression, resonated in his ears. He remembered how Aynoor despised history, often expressing her disdain for the subject in her own unique way.

"Mujhe bhook lagi hai," her voice echoed once more, filled with mock annoyance as she cast sideways glances at the teacher. Yazdaan couldn't help but feel a pang of longing.

"Khan aaj hume jald he lene aajaye, Ya Allah!!" Aynoor's voice echoed in Yazdaan's mind, her playful plea bringing a fleeting smile to his lips. However, as her words contiued Yazdaan's smile began to fade.

"Khan mere liye kal itniiiiiiiii sari chocolate laaye thy," Aynoor's voice, filled with delight, further dampened Yazdaan's mood. The memory of her happiness, juxtaposed with her absence now, cast a shadow over him.

"Khan kehte hai mai bohat acha likhti hu..." Her words, filled with innocence and pride, pierced Yazdaan's heart. He felt a surge of frustration and sadness, wishing to silence the memories that taunted him.

Just as Yazdaan was lost in his thoughts, Kiara, took the empty seat beside him. Her presence broke the illusion of Aynoor's ghostly presence, and Yazdaan's gaze shifted to her.

Yazdaan glanced at Kiara, her doll-like appearance and charming curls catching his attention momentarily. However, despite her undeniable cuteness, he couldn't find any resemblance to Aynoor in her features. With a heavy heart and a pang of disappointment, Yazdaan chose to ignore Kiara's friendly smile.

Without a word or a glance back, Yazdaan rose from his seat and quietly exited the classroom, leaving Kiara to wonder about his sudden departure. As he walked away, the weight of his longing for Aynoor bore heavily on his shoulders, overshadowing everything else.

"Itni saari chocolate?!!!!!!!!" Aynoor's scream echoed through the room, not in delight but in sheer fright at the sight of the mountain of chocolates Almeer had brought. She was taken aback by the overwhelming quantity.

"Noori, doctor ne kal bola tha ke ye pain kam karne mai help karta hai," Almeer attempted to explain, hoping to reassure her. However, Aynoor's skepticism remained evident as she scoffed at his explanation.

"Khan itni chocolate khaa k mai seedha coma mai chali jaaungi! Aap kahi us dukaan ko luut k toh nahi aarhe?" Aynoor's concern bordered on suspicion as she voiced her fear that Almeer might have emptied the entire store of chocolates. The sheer abundance of sweets was enough to send shivers down her spine.

"Tumhe khani hai toh khao nahi toh phenk do," Almeer responded, his tone tinged with a hint of disappointment. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of hurt as Aynoor seemed to dismiss his efforts to care for her.

"Mai aahista aahista khaa lungi saari...........kuch saal mai," Aynoor replied, her tone playful as she clung onto him. Almeer couldn't suppress a smile at her playful antics, even though he was slightly miffed by her teasing.

"Marzi hai tumhari," he responded casually, though inwardly, he was touched by her lightheartedness. Despite her jests, he knew she appreciated his gestures of care and concern.

"Chalein ab zyada banein mat," Aynoor teased, nudging him lightly before darting away with laughter. Almeer shook his head fondly, amused by her playful spirit, and followed her, ready to chase her around the room.

"Pagleth."
