Tanjiro's pov

It was a few days before the dance, and I felt myself shake a bit more, I begin to put a note in Muichiro's locker and when I was walking away I saw something in the corner of my eye, I saw Muichiro talking to Nezuko and Senjuro. I only knew little about Senjuro from Kyojuro but I never actually talked to him that much. I walked over to them and Muichiro yelled, "Oh hey Tanjiro!" When he smiled my face turned red and hot. Senjuro asked, "Oh so this is the Tanjiro y'all keep talking about? I'm Rengoku Senjuro, it's nice to meet you!" He lend out his hand for me to shake it and I did, "I'm Kamado Tanjiro, it's nice to meet you to!"

"What are you doing here Tanjiro?" Nezuko asked, "I just saw you guys, and thought I should stop by and say hi that's all. I also wanted what time.I should pick Muichiro up for the dance..." I saw Nezuko's face lit up and Senjuro's face in shock, "YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO THE DANCE TOGETHER?!" They both yelled and Muichiro fave turned red, and he turned away slowly nodding. "Wait when were you gonna tell me?!"

"Soon most likely, I tell you almost everything Nezuko."

"So who is everyone going to the dance with then?" Senjuro asked.

"I'm going with Muichiro,

Sabito is with Giyu,

Mitsuri and Obanai,

Sanemi and Kanae,

And Nezuko is going with Zenitsu.

That's all I know so far! Are you going with anyone Senjuro."

"I'm actually not going to the dance...I am not much if a party person..plus I am busy that night anyway.

"Awww.....I was hoping you were gonna go..." Nezuko whined, "Maybe next time, I still have 3 years after this to decide weather or not to go to a dance. There is 2 dances every year."

"I guess... still sucks!"

On the day of the dance, I was in a room with Inosuke and Zenitsu, getting ready and Zenitsu came out of the bathroom and asked, "Does this look good or no?"

"Eh.." Inosuke commented, "Not so sure about it...5/10" I said and Zenitsu said,."So we agree on the other one?"

"Yeah" we both said. "Alright thank you, Since Inosuke is not attending for obvious reasons, Tanjiro your up!"

"Okay, keep in mind I don't have many fancy clothing so might be bad..."

"I have extra that might look good on you Tanjiro." Zenitsu offered and I dressed I to the first outfit. "This alright?" I asked and they both stared at each other and gave me a five. When I dressed inomto the next one, Zenitsu yelled, "That's the one!"

"You haven't even looked at the other ones..."

"I've seen enough, come on, I'm fixing your hair, looks basic."

Ouch-

When Zenitsu was doing my hair, he decided to let some of it free and said, "I'm not the best of doing other people's hair so...what do you think"

"I like it actually Zenitsu..thank you." Inosuke walked in and asked, "You looked nothing like Manjiro..-" I looked at him and said, "It's Tanjiro...say it right please.." I stood up and I looked at the time and it was a perfect timing since I had to pick Muichiro up and Nezuko for the dance.

Nezuko, Mitsuri, And Senjuro were at Muichiro's house getting ready and I offered to pick Muichiro up. I got into the car which I recently learned how to drive and began starting it.

Muichiro's pov

"Ahhh! Nezuko your so cute!" Mitsuri yelled in excitement as Nezuko finished getting dressed and shown us the final result. Mitsuri was already ready and I still have to get dressed, "You look good Nezuko!" I commented and Senjuro immediately agreed. "Aww, thanks guys! Muichiro go get dressed I wanna see you in something fancy for once!" Nezuko replied and I got up and went to go get dressed.

I was going to the dance with Tanjiro and I was quite nervous, I never been to a dance before really and I was scared for the most part and could only think about all the bad stuff that could happen during it. I took a deep breath and then began getting dressed and I just wore something that used to belong to Yuichiro when he....

wait...when did he wear this? I can't remember. I have to ask him again.

I finished getting ready and came out and asked, "how is this?" Mitsuri's eyes lit up and she yelled, "Aww! Your so cute! Yes! Wear it!" Mitsuri began jumping up from her spot and Senjuro said, "It looks good on you Muichiro!" Nezuko gave me a thumbs up with her eyes lit up, because she couldn't speak due to her eating some chips I brought for them. "Alright then I'm ready!" The doorbell rang and we looked at the time and we went downstairs and Mitsuri ran first and there stood Obanai. He gave flowers for Mitsuri and she waved is goodbye.

"I should get going now...my father would kill me if he finds out I'm gone.." Senjuro snuck out of his place to help us get ready and he then waved us goodbye and left the house, and it was just me and Nezuko and she asked, "So any update on that secret admirer you have? What was the new note they gave you today?" "They said they were a boy, and he gave me this.." I gave her the note as we sat down on my front porch that read

Hey Muichiro, I hope you have fun at the dance! There really is not much today unfortunately but I hope you have a good day!

----

"Muichiro! I have an idea! You should place a note in your locker for your secret admirer so they can read it and that way you can be able to identify them faster!" That doesn't sound like a bad idea and I nodded smiling. Eventually a car pulled up and both us stood up and Tanjiro stepped out of the car and went towards me and asked, "you ready?" I nodded nodded and I held his hand..

One day...in a dream maybe..I would be able to do this forever with him only, as something more than friends...
