PRINCE IN EXILE447 words~3 min read

A FEW MINUTES BEFORE..

Raaha closed her eyes as she let go of Nandu's hand waiting for the impact on her back but she felt something jerk her and opened her eyes blinking at the little light panting for breath and sat up inspecting herself for any injuries. But she was okay. More than okay making her confused and looked around to see rocks around her while she lay on a bed made with leaves and rocks.

She heard footsteps and turned towards her left to see a person wearing a black hoodie with a large sword on his back making her move a little back as the man pushed his hoodie back speaking "What you did back there was stupid".

Raaha widened her eyes mumbling "Godfather".

"Good thing the land swallowed you before you hit the ground. What were you thinking committing a sin like that" The man raised his voice.

"It's not a sin. It's called sacrifice and...and...what about my friends? I've to go and help them" Raaha got as if she remembered just now.

"You are not going anywhere. You reached your potential and you will start your training" The man stated.

"My brother is dead. I don't want any training without him and let me go" Raaha fold her hands staring into his eyes.

"Kali...." The man called making the crow fly from the same way he came from and land on Raaha's shoulder.

"Brother... you're alright....never do that again....do you understand?" Raaha strictly ordered making Kali rub his head on Raaha's cheek as she petted him.

"Rest for now. You'll be called once everything is ready" The man ordered and started walking away.

"I'm going back to my friends" Raaha stubbornly said as the sparks of power formed on her hands making the man stop mid stride.

"As you can see you're ready for the training. Your place is not up there. It's here with your family Raaha" The man reminded her pointing to the greenish light in her hands.

"Fine! I'll come back. Godfather please let me go" Raaha begged making him look at her.

"He doesn't care about anyone except his destiny Raaha. And you are asking me to send you back to that emotionless beast?" Godfather asked.

"Let me help them. I'll return to you. I swear" Raaha promised.

"You are just like your mother" Godfather scoffed and opened a door to their right from which an axe flew making him hand it to her continuing "It was your mother's. Use it wisely" making Raaha putting the axe on her back like a arrow stand as Raaha's outfit turned into a warrior's outfit with the green light surrounding her.
