THE DANGEROUS WAY

"It's the crest of Cholas" Nandu said as Agasthya poured water on it cleaning it a little to make it visible properly.

Mutu opened the scroll and handed it to Karthik who started reading it but nothing happens making them look at him like 'Is this it?' but suddenly all of them screamed as the rock under them moved and they all fell down into the mountain.

Agasthya breathed in air as he surfaced the river holding Nandu and started swimming to the shore just like everyone. He dragged her out breathing heavily and started doing cpr "Come on! Come on!".

Everyone reached the shore coughing for breath but there was no response from Nandu making Agasthya lift her a little and rubbed her back before doing cpr again "Come on..............

Princess .....Nandika.....

Nandu" he yelled making her gasp opening her eyes  and coughed out the water as he held her from behind.

She breathed heavily leaning onto him as he held her shoulders sighing as everyone fell on their back looking at the ceiling which is basically a mountain making Aarna ask "Are those all diamonds?"

"Well our ancestors did really a nice piece of work  for the future generations to stay rich" Prince joked as he sat up.

"Yeah? They should've given us a warning too, for such traps. Atleast to their so called future generations" Nandu gritted out as she sat up making Agasthya leave her.

"Well let's just be thankful that we atleast have light" Karthik said standing up making others follow him.

"Which direction?" Agasthya asked making Karthik close his eyes holding his pendent for a few seconds and opened his eyes which turned green like that of a snake.

"Follow me" Karthik voice changed as he walked towards one of the holes inside the mountain making everyone follow him.

After walking almost for three hours they stopped infront of a big door with a snake on it's head as Karthik tried touching the door his eyes turned back to normal making him cough.

"Let me do it. You energy is spiking down" Prince rolled his eyes and held the handles of the door trying to push it making him yell and flew back towards the wall and hit it before falling down.

"Prince!" Aarna yelled as evryone went towards him and got down helping him to sit.

Prince looked at his palms to see the burn marks making everyone look at the door to see the handles turning to snake and hiss at them making Karthik say "Naagabandham! That's why I turned normal".

"Do something then" Aarna said.

"That's the thing genius! I can't do anything. All snakes are nothing but slaves to the Naagabandham and has to follow the rules" Karthik scoffed.

"What do we do then?" Nandu asked looking at Agasthya.

"We've come this far. We can't just give up" Aarna said as she took out her gun.

"No! Aarna..." Agasthya yelled and forwarded his hand to stop her but she shot the snakes.

Everything turned quiet expect the gun sound that echoed in the mountain making Aarna smirk "See brother sometimes my way works too" but soon her smirk vanished as they heard creaking and turned towards the sound to see the doors opening on their own making them widen their eyes.
